ive just spent 2 weeks at this hotel with my family. from the 26th of june 2010 to 10th july 2010. on arrival we were given a plastic bag each which contained a bottle warm water,a orange,and a ham sandwich. this was are tea for the night. we were then taken to are rooms.... more

hi, i stayed at this hotel on july 12 08 for a week with 7 of my friends all aged around 20 all from wales, the first imprssion was terrible the staff wernt very friendly and the lobby was i need of sum urgent repair, we went to our room (315) it was dirty and very dated the walls had stains on them and the bathroom drain for the shower kept overflowing into the bedroom. After reading reviews about the Hotel Continental, and learning it was featured on TV’s Holidays from Hell, we were very apprehensive about going. We arrived early on the Sunday morning about 2.30 am, the receptionist didn’t speak much English but we were checked in without any problems, and shown our rooms. I was there two weeks this summer and hotel was like East European bunker. The worst hotel I have ever been and food was awful. You have to pay even pool chairs 2 euros per chair every day.

This hotel is not the best hotel in the world but it was clean and had friendly staff. I wouldnt stay in this hotel again and wouldnt go at the end of august beginning of septemeber as it is warm in day but freezing at night it was like me in skegness!!!

I was disappointed with the accomodation, there were 4 of us in 2 appartments but they were very basic. Not even a kettle for a cup of tea when you get up in the morning! The pillows were uncomfortable and there was no air conditioning. The balconies were very small and in a desperate state, paint was peeling off. it really was quite basic. The food was buffet style everyday, and at the evening meal you had to pay for any drinks you had, there was no facilities for a cuppa with your evening meal. This is the pits of hotels which my husband and i booked with balkan travel.We stayed here in late may and early june 2005. It was that old it had lino on the floors ripped of course. The beds had urine stains all over them and the pillows and when i asked them to change them they put clean pillow cases on. The balcony was held together with wire netting as it was rootten.
