Amazing Hotel!!! Exceptionall service!!!

i have been at many complexes so far due to the fact that i do work for tourist enterprise so i go to many places worldwide mostly for business purposes. Some of them were good, some average and some pretty good but i have to admitt that this is the very first time to have such a quality vacation time!! everything was simply suberb!! starting from arrival where the front desk staff greet you so warmly making you feel that you are the only and the one! a glass of champagne then is offered to you by a beautiful lady with some chocolate! what more i could expect during my arrival at this lovely hotel?!? the rooms are spacious, up to 50sq.m
a real suite wait with a great view to the huge pool.
For sure i will prefer this hotel once again for spending this time more days!!!
i totally recommend it!!!

we loved this hotel - spotlessly clean, friendly and relaxing. Would definately recommend for couples. The rooms were spacious and had everything you need The hotel is situated just far enough from the main square to ensure a peaceful nights sleep but near enough to all the bars and restaurants. We had 2 excellent meals at the Kassandra in the resort - a definate must! The staff are all very helpful and polite. We could not fault the hotel - the only thing we didnt realise was that the transfer from the airport would take quite as long. We went to the market in Kassandria which is held on a tues - used the local bus service from the main road about 2 mins away which cost us 1.90 euros each way.all in all a great holiday and hotel.

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the hotel renaissance we had an excellent time.Excellent weather. The hotel was perfect definitely 4* beautiful surroundings ,very clean and the maids were excellent, are rooms were cleaned everyday and clean towels provided everyday. Kitchen area very basic but we only used it to make a cup of tea no point shopping we found an excellent sandwich / cake shop at the top of the hill and turn left called lemonahs .Breakfast was very good lots of choice hence 6lbs heavier.Beach a little too shaley for my liking but very nice, walk down to the grecotell and the sand is much softer and no rocks in the water so the kids could swim.Lots of good restaurants our favourite was the garden 'Lamb chops are a must'.We always ended are evening in the kelfos cocktail bar staff were very friendly.
My only complaint was the pool was very cold but i am a bit of a wimp , also the bar in the hotel and the restaurant was expensive so was always very quiet at night. but all in all it was a very enjoyable holiday.

Just got back from a lovely holiday...

Just got back from a lovely holiday to Renaissance hotel in Hanioti.
I would definitely recommend it, for couples just wanting a quiet holiday or for families its perfect, the people are great with children at the hotel make you feel really welcome, the breakfast they serve each money is the best I have ever had so much choice, its described as a American style breakfast in the brochure but it’s more of a continental breakfast.
They have a great pool, not really impressed with the baby pool as I have a small son and the little pool was quite deep and freezing he didn’t really want to get in.
If you’re a couple there are lots of trips to go on etc... or if you’re a family the beach is lovely, it is a shingle beach though so just be aware.
Lots of places to eat in town, would recommend the Italian pizza place in the centre of town, its lovely food.
There’s a supermarket close to hotel, if you need it , which is handy, the town itself is lovely I felt really safe you can really let your guard down, I would definitely go back again, really sad to be back.

Simply stunning - the room was very clean with lots of space. Bedding changed every other day and towels daily. Breakfast there was everything you could want from fresh fruit to fried eggs.
The pool was very well kept and clean, only one complaint and that was the beds by the pool they where not in the best condition and if you where not up early to grab a bed forget it as by 8am they where all taken up with towels, having said that there are signs up saying if a bed remains unoccupied for half an hour with a towel on it you have the right to remove it.
We however preferred the beautiful beach €5 for two beds and an umbrella.
crystal clear warm water great for snorkelling and the beaches are not too overcrowded either.
Hanioti itself has everything you need, there are plenty of excellent restaurants on and around the square and they are well priced. The cake shops are fabulous too.
The lovely Greek people, food, weather and stunning area make a memorable holiday and we will be returning.

Hotel is so nice. Rooms cleaned every day and new towels and bed linen every other day.
The staff at the hotel are so friendly and could not fault anything about the hotel.
Rooms have cooking facilities a fridge, Safe and air con which is all free of charge.
It is a 2 minute walk to all restaurants and bars and even closer to the beach.
Would love to return as the weather was really hot and we had the most relaxing 2 weeks ever.

We have just returned from Hanioti. We did have some bad weather for the first 3 days - thunder and lightning (worse weather they had had in Sept) but on the fourth day the sun came out and it’s was heavenly. I have to say I am very impressed with the resort as whole.
Our hotel, the Renaissance is in a nice quiet area with the main square only 5 minutes walk and the beach is 5 mins walk. The hotel had a few leaks in the bad weather but they were extremely efficient and sorted the leaks without me even asking the next day. I know some people had quite big leaks in their rooms but they were moved that night to alternative rooms. The hotel is definitely 4 star standard, very clean, staff very neat and courteous and breakfast was a banquet!
Even for my fussy friend! The beach was not as pristine as it was previously because of all the fires back about a month ago. There is still a bit of ash on the shore but I liked the fact it was quite and was quite a natural looking.
I went with my three friends for a relaxing holiday and that’s what we got! There were a lot of families and couples but we were relieved that we didn’t encounter lots of stag and hen do's which can make a resort tacky. We also felt very safe in the area as there is not any trouble.
The best place to eat was The Garden. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was just what we wanted. I highly recommend you go to the Sunshine Cocktail Bar which is just off the square. The staff (Gianni, Daniel, Zac and Tania) are really chirpy and the bar is really comfortable with large leather sofas to relax after a hard days sunbathing! We met lots of people who return to this bar every year. They will even give you a lift back to your hotel if you feel little worse for wear! Try the banana martini! Also liked Long Island Bar. There are no clubs in Hanioti but you can take a short trip to Pfekohori just south of Hanioti where there is a good club.
Will definitely return one day.

Just come back after a week at the Renaissance and wish we would have booked for 2 weeks! Apartments are lovely, very spacious and we had a slight sea view as requested! Air-con isn’t as good as expected though, in the August heat, more than a slight draft is needed!
We went Bed and Breakfast, which I think is the best option as the evening meal didn’t look too good sometimes! Breakfast was served from 7:30-10:00 which was good and had everything you could possible want for breakfast, ranging from fresh fruit to a traditional fry-up! Swimming pool was really nice but was a shame that we had to get up at 6am every morning to get a sun bed! One word, Germans!
Literally a 2 minute walk to beach which was quite stony, however when you walk up the beach for a few minutes you come to more sand than stones, sea was beautiful and clear. Overall a brilliant holiday, will be going next year!

A superb choice with great facilities, clean and modern rooms with great English speaking staff.
The food was excellent with a buffet style breakfast and a good selection of afternoon / evening meals.
The pool was one of the best I've ever seen - a good size with a kiddies paddling pool at the one end. The sun beds around the pool were good although we did experience a bit of bed bagging :(
We spent a lot of the time on the beach which was a left out of the hotel front door then literally a 3 min. walk. Remember this is a shingle / pebble beach NOT sand. This may put some people off - but don't let it as the beach is stunning with some nice places to eat / drink right on the sea front.
To get to the resort centre you go straight out the front door and it's another 3 min. walk! All the usual trinket shops and places to eat - we found two fantastic restaurants Amythistos and Stones - just ask the hotel staff for directions
To sum up the overall package holiday was the best I've ever been on. Highly recommended 10/10.

An excellent hotel - was there June 2006 and it is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in.
Lovely pool area, lots of beds, no bed bagging allowed which is good, clean airy rooms and the breakfast was out of this world. A really nice setting for breakfast on the patio by the pool area, nice people staying there and the breakfast choice is superb.
My worry was that is was so quiet and may not make enough profit for the owners to carry on with it and that will be a shame. It is not an expensive hotel, just very nice, dignified, and has class.

A great place to stay! (we reckon the best in Hanioti, we did a lot of snooping around other hotels). Lovely rooms - big, comfy, clean and furnished (paintings, cosy lamps etc), and a really top notch pool area, reception, pretty gardens etc. Staff are all super-friendly and polite and the cleaning maids are a riot! A GREAT selection in the free breakfast buffet, you can choose from Full English, German meats and breads, Greek yoghurt, pastries and honey, and croissants, nuts, cereal, caviar, eggs, loads of fresh fruit and veg, and BAKLAVA which is nice but really sweet Greek stuff.
The chef is pretty good, and evening buffet has loads of choice.
Its a TINY walk to the beach (200 yards), down a nice safe track with beautiful beach villas on the sides, and loads of Greek kids and kittens prancing about!
If you find a better place to stay in Hanioti (excluding the million pound beach villas we saw) then tell us because we’ll go there next year.
Renaissance is Great!
