A very large hotel, which is situated on the outskirts of Playa De Ingles with fantastic views of the sand dunes and sea. The resort centre is a 5 minute walk away, which unless you enjoy loud bars, discos and ‘Blackpool’ style attractions then best avoided. The hotel... more

Great Service
We stayed at the Riu Palace from 30 June to 5 July on a half board basis. The overriding impression we had was that this was a hotel that really wanted you to enjoy your stay and every member of staff from the manager through to the waiters and housekeeping pesonnel were friendly, welcoming and service focused. The food here is excellent - a massive selection at the breakfast and dinner buffets.Table service is available but the buffet offered us the best choice and the hotel managed to maintain a pleasant dining atmosphere... more
Wonderful Hotel Everyone is Treated Special
Brilliant Hotel Having just returned from a great Family holiday at the Rui Palace I must say what a lovely Hotel it is and so very well staffed, everyone was so friendly and obliging and the rooms we had were ideal, on the ground floor with a private walled terrace so it was safe to let our toddler grandson play without the worry of balconys etc { i would recommend these rooms for families} the staff were so nice with the baby and they all knew his name and he Came home saying hola to everyone he loved it there . The food was... more
Wonderful hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel with my wife and 13 year old daughter. Impressive building that stands large with star quality right at the end of the resort of Playa Del Ingles. The hotel has stunning views over the awesome sand dunes of Maspalomas where we walked each morning before breakfast. Fortunately the hotel is placed at the end of the Playa Del Ingles resort and so you really needed to spend little time in PDI itself. PDI was not so impressive but then we hardly had cause to leave this superb hotel.<br... more
location, location, location!
A lovely hotel with stunning views of the Maspalomas sand dunes. Rooms are a good size and well furnished, and the staff are all friendly - and expect to be tipped accordingly! My only complaint is that the tables in the dining room are a little on top of one another - this was especially noticeable in the evening, not so much of a problem for breakfast when many choose to go on the terrace.
Fabulous Hotel!
Returned home last Monday after spending a week at the Riu Palace Maspalomas. We travel several times each year and are also frequent visitors to this island. We have also stayed at two other Riu Palace hotels in Lanzarote and Madeira. However, the Riu Palace Maspalomas is without doubt, the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The standards of cleanliness and comfort, together with the quality and choice of food and facilities, plus the superb location of this hotel overlooking the maspalomas dunes are superb. Our only regret... more
hotel management
During our 7 days stay in the Riu Palace Maspalomas Hotel, we encountered a few insuperabilities concerning the service. In a recently 'renovated' hotel, you expect an internet connection in each room. Not in this hotel: a very small, hot 'facility' without any windows, with 3 worn out computers, from which the keyboard signs are totally faded. You'll also find a little 'library' in this room: very inconvenient when people are walking in and out while you try to concentrate on your work! On top of all, this hotel dares to ask 1 euro for... more
First Class
Just returned from the Riu Palace Maspolomas - where do we start! First class Service treated like royalty, food delicious Outstanding Quality - try the Specialities restaurant you will not be disappointed. We tried three different themes and all were very nice! We were pencilled in to have our meal times at 8.30 but after a little persuasion with the Maitre De we changed to a 6.30 time which we found suited us better. Rooms were large and very comfortable King Size Beds Maid Service was daily nice touch of a Swan made out of a towel... more
Outstanding Service , Great Food , First Class Location for night life !
My partner and I have just returned from a week at this wonderful hotel . Its hallmark has to be first class service from a marvellously customer- focussed team who blend professionalism with humour and a disctinct lack of starchiness , which was very refreshing . The dunes of Maspalomas are as close as they could be , as is the extraordinary night-life of Playa del Ingles . The food in the main restaurant was outstanding and the service about as good as it gets ! I lost a ring down the sink and called reception who assured me... more
5* Hotel, can't think of a single complaint
SIMPLY THE BEST :) Me and my family, stayed at Riu Palace Maspalomas from 6/8/05 - 21/8/05 after cancelling our holiday to Egypt. (due to the bombing) After staying at this hotel, we are more than convinced that we made the right decision to swap holidays this year. Here is a few short reviews on facilities at and around the hotel: Pools: There are 2 pools, both in gorgeous surroundings. One has water jets, and currents, to swim against, whereas the other is more freeform, and bigger. They are both more than adequate to... more
Simply, a very good hotel.
Hi, Just back from a week at the RIU Palace Maspalomas and it was a great hotel. The food was first class for a buffet and you even get the choice of a la carte table service at another restaraunt if you wish...a full 4-course meal at no extra charge!! In relation to another post, we were able to change the seating times of our meals to suit with no problem. It may depend on the season. The staff there could have not have been nicer with even the Manager coming around at dinner to speak to the new guests and welcome them... more
