The Panorama complex is located in the hearth of the Sveti Konstantin resort, just 7 km from Varna. The oldest Bulgarian resort offers a unique combination of forest area and wonderful beach which consists of a series of small rocky bays. It is a calm and lovely place which provides perfect conditions for holidays. The distance from the hotel to the sandy beach is about 150 m. Its stunning sea views and lush hotel grounds make it a unique place for recreation.

I booked an air conditioned room as I had seen how hot is was going to be, there are two wings of the hotel one has air con in rooms the other doesn't but fans are available. It’s only about 15 quid extra for the week and well worth it!

Room was large with two larger than single beds, TV, air con, mini bar (which has water beer and coke in it all cheap) with plenty of space to put your own stuff, large wardrobe, small couch and table, balcony looking over the sea has a small table and two chairs as well as a small washing line. Everything spotlessly clean, towels replaced daily.

The pool is small, but plenty of sun beds and lots of trees and umbrellas for shade. Beach is down hill from the hotel, with steps as well, or a longer walk down towards sunny day of you want less steps.

Breakfast is continental style, tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, cereals, coffee, cheese, boiled eggs etc (sorry no bacon), there is a pool bar and snack bar on the grounds both cheap and good quality. 1 Lev for an espresso, lunch with fish salad and a few chips along with a beer on the snack bar for around 9 lev (there are 3 lev to the pound approximately).

The 1st floor bar is open later and varied in the course of a week from being very busy to being completely empty depending on who was in the hotel, good prices for beer and spirits, and friendly service from Tanya.

Reception staff don’t always speak a lot of English but try to be helpful, Balkans local rep Dessy is very friendly and a mine of information. Local buses to both Varna and Golden sands leave from the main road in front of the hotel.

Outside could do with a spruce up, but its cosmetic mainly paint needed. St

Constantine is not a resort for wild clubs and drinking, but a great place to chill out and relax
