Villa Garden Hotel

As a newlywed, my husband and I were looking for a place that was romanitc, quaint, and where we would have everything at our fingertips. Not only did Villa Garden Hotel meet our expectations, but it exceeded them! The hotel is so clean and warmly decorated. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Furthermore, the views from the hotel are breathtaking! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Villa Garden Hotel helped make our honeymoon a pleasant memory, and we plan on spending one of our anniversaries there in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and wish we could have stayed longer. We were delighted when we saw our room, Room 105, with a large terrace balcony - the largest balcony, and right at the front. The views were spectacular, especially at night when it was all lit up. The staff were excellent, and the breakfast was nice as well. It was nice to be able to get hot dishes, a rarity in Italy! Very quiet area, with a few restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed for 4 nights in September. The rooms were a good size, and bathrooms were large. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool area is great, although we were too busy to use it much, and a hot breakfast was available as well as the usually continental affair. But it is the views that make the hotel special, we had a great view over the bay, and the breakfast room sits right on the cliff. The hotel is 20-25 minutes from Sorrento town, which wasn't too bad as it was much quieter at night and away from traffic noise and pollution. There are also a few nice bars and restaurants in the vicinty.

We're just back from Sorrento, Our hotel was great. We had a fabulous room with a balcony and sea views. Every Morning we awoke to wonderfull views of Vesuvious, the bay of Naples and Sorrento Town further around the bay, In the evening we would sit on the little balcony with a bottle of local wine and watch the sun set over Capri. The room was spotless, the staff were helpful and friendly, I could not fault the hotel at all. It's a 20 min walk to the centre of Sorrento but the buses leave from close by very frequently. The Hotel has a courtesy car every morning which is great.

Very peaceful hotel with a lovely pool and garden area (with 3 hammocks!!). Family run, this must be the most friendly hotel we have ever stayed in; excellent service too. We stayed for 10 days and cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

My husband and I loved this hotel. We stayed in the room with the large balcony overlooking the Mediterrianian and Mount Vesuvius. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The food and service are excellent and the grounds are lovely. Although the hotel is not located in downtown Sorrento, we were able to easily get around using the city bus system. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recomment the Villa Garden and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful and relaxing hotel. The staff were helpful and unobtrusive, a special mention for Barbara, the breakfast waitress, full of interesting stories and cheerful in the morning. This Hotel is possibly the cleanest and most relaxing we have ever stayed in. A wonderful fortnight. On the recommendation of the concierge,try the Il Convento restaurant in Sorrento, wonderful food and a terrific, friendly atmosphere

we stayed here in july 2004 and had a lovely time. party consisted of 2 teenagers and 4 oldies(50+) and we all voted it the best of the 3 places we stayed in that summer very welcoming,clean,quiet.good breakfasts and lunches around the pool which was never crowded. beautiful seaviews from our balcony easily accessible good local restaurants and some shops walk into sorrento(20 mins) not too nice but then again sorrento was a bit of a disappointment-touristy tat shops and too many brits!(i like to hear italian in italy not estuary english)though locals were welcoming capri delightful and easily organised via office in sorrento.pompeii easily accessed via railway within walking distance of hotel.amalfi coast was brilliant-we hired a taxi for our party of 6 for the day and had lunch in superb restaurant in raffello-more expensive than a coach but well worth it.didnt go to herculanium-been before and not enough time this time but i think the train stopped there too.naples at the end of the line and well worth a visit for the antiquities museum you dont need a car here and a week looked after by villa garden makes you feel very rested sue marshall edinburgh

Beautiful family run B&B type hotel. Paola was delightful and most helpful. Rooms clean and our room faced the Bay of Naples. Breakfast good, staff most willing to cook to order, friendly feeling of family the entire stay. Bathroom shower need to be updated. Local parking area for lovers along the lane in front of hotel but this just added to the fun of the entire area. Quite location. Laundry service reasonable, town within walking distance at a slow pace and some of the best restaurants and food of our trip.

Perfect little hotel in an ideal location on the outskirts of the Sorrento town boundary Family owned with a touch of the old traditional hotel values Recommended for couples but not necessarily ideal for children although the small pool does offer some entertainment for them Lovely breakfast room with an open balcony with a sheer derop to the Bay of Naples we will certainly return when time permits
