" This is a fantastic Hotel, We stayed... "

This is a fantastic Hotel, We stayed in room 205. In my opinion, the best in the hotel.
Its the one at the top with the balcony facing Napoli and Volacano.
I took a bit of film footage of the Hotel and our room/view which is on youtube.
Just look for Villa Garden or type in imabaloon in the search field and you will find it.
If you do book this Hotel, Make sure you ask for room 205 or 105, 105 has a bigger balcony but 205 is not overlooked by anybody.
I have stayed at many Hotels and this has to be number one due to the charming location, the staff can do enough, The breakfast is the best in Italy, and ive had a few.
I would reccomend this Hotel to anybody as a romantic and peaceful setting from which to escape after a busy day exploring the many outstanding sights in the area.
By the way, Visit Amalfi, Its Outstanding.
Take it from me, Villa Garden is the place to stay in Sorrento, I looked at all the rest when I was there and they dont compare, May be a little more expensive, but if you get what you pay for. Feel free to leave comments or ask questions on youtube

" We stayed at the Villa Garden for 4... "

We stayed at the Villa Garden for 4 nights, and were very impressed. The hotel is on the outskirts of Sorrento (about a 20 min walk or short bus ride to the centre of town) in a quiet area right on the seafront.

You can get to the hotel Via train and get off at Sant Agnello station (about 10 mins walk, all signposted) or get the Curreri bus as we did directly from Naples airport to Sant Agnello - it was fast and cheap (only 7 euro each) and drops you near the station.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff are very helpful. They provide you with maps and timetables without having to ask.

We were so impressed with the room - we had room 102 which was on the first floor at the side of the building. We had a large L shaped balcony, from which we could see the sea. The room had air con and electric blinds, table and chairs and sun loungers on the balcony. Not all the rooms had balconies, so I would request when you book. There was also a mini bar (quite expensive) but no coffee making facility.

Breakfast is included, and is served on an amazing terrace looking out of the side of the cliff under the hotel, with unobstructed views of Vesuvius, Naples and along the coast. There is a cold buffet, and then you order hot food cooked freshly (e.g. eggs, bacon, etc).

From the train station is easy to get to Vesuvius, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Naples etc. From Sorrento train station (walk into town or get train or bus) you can get to Positano and Amalfi by boat or SITA bus, or get a ferry to Capri.

There is so much to do in Sorrento and the surrounding areas; the Villa is a perfect place to relax at the end of a tiring day. We loved our holiday! Oh, and our favourite restaurant in Italy is on the map on the wall in reception - about 5 mins walk - it's called Villa Russo and serves rustic Italian food.
