We just got back from a fab 5 day vacation to Benidorm. With 19 people I thought it was going to be a nightmare dealing with so many with just a basic 3 star but i was wrong! It was great from the moment we got there. The staff were unbelievably friendly. They even helped us if I phoned them whilst we were out and stuck somewhere! I can't imagine any other hotel staff doing this...10 stars for all the staff!!! Whatever we wanted, they delivered pronto!

The views were absolutely superb and i enjoyed waking up to the sound of the sea. The location for us was perfect. there's a supermarket right outside the hotel and the beach is right there. They're doing construction work on the beach outside the hotel at the moment but it still didn't ruin things for us... we couldn't have asked for a better place or location. The appartments were very clean and huge! Definitely excellent value for money. Would not stay anywhere else if I go back to Benidorm.

However, I booked with Sun4U who were a nightmare once the money was charged to our cards for this holiday. It took me two weeks of phoning them constantly and I was shouted at by their staff so many times. The staff did not help at all with the booking and they even told me that rules were changing as to whom i could speak with on a daily basis as they didn't want to help! I had to pretend to cry in the end to get through to them. WOULD NEVER BOOK THROUGH THEM AGAIN AND I URGE ANYONE ELSE NOT TO EITHER!

Stayed for a week. Room was cold at night only one blanket per bed. A cup full of hot water, not enough for a bath. Only 1 person can shower then the hot water is gone. No kettle, it takes 22mins for a saucepan to heat up water. No toilet rolls. Bathroom door rotten on base, sink cracked. Really is time Beni Beach had a complete overall. Nothing worked in reception area. Entertainment is ok if you are over 80!! Staff nice but know nothing of area. WOULD NOT GO AGAIN

I have just had 4 wonderful weeks at the Beni Beach.

The apartments were basic, clean and ideally situated. There was a huge glassed in balcony, south facing so we had the sun from 8.30am till 5.30 pm great.

We had a sea view which was fascinating, there were plenty of local shops to eat in and drink, especially Hendry's and the Potteries way.

A few minutes’ walk and you were in the old part of benidorm, and we often walked into the Rincon de loix, the new part. Taxis and bus fares were very reasonable. We did a few trips to Guadalest, Calpe, Albir, and Altea. Well worth a visit.

The apartments could do with a kettle, serving spoon and a decent size chopping board.

You always had plenty of hot water as you had your own tank. You also had your own laundry room and a clothes airer on the balcony for drying your washing.

I will definitely be back as soon as I can.

Beni Beach was good, had amazing views from apartment, was on second top floor which had an amazing view. Staff were very helpful at all times, pool was good but got overcrowded easily.

Hendrys for food was brilliant, supermarkets ok sold everything that was needed. A couple of bad points were the lack of entertainment at Beni Beach, the cooker did not work at all and also we were there for a week and bed linen and towels only changed once.

Went to Benidorm Palace and Aqualandia would recommend them both. Overall it was a good holiday at Beni Beach and I would recommend it.

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The staff where rude and unhelpful (accept the man on the night shift who was lovely) and they didn't want to know you.

I don't think they have ever heard of cleaners, I was there for two weeks and never saw one.

The apartments are large and I have never seen such a big balcony. The best thing about the hotel is the stunning views, I just hope you like heights.

They lock the front door at 1am and it’s a 20 minute walk up hill to the back entrance that is open 24 hours a day.

The pool is small and never gets cleaned so unless you like swimming with bees and flies I wouldn't get in it, at least the beach is only over the road and that lovely and clean.

The hotel isn't on a good position so you have to go into the new town to have a decent drink, but there are some nice places to go and have breakfast, and also the supermarket is close by.

Benidorm is the best place to go on holiday but this hotel spoilt it, I would never go back there again even if you paid me.

We went to Beni-Beach just after Easter, with a 9 month old and a 4 year old.

Good Points:

Lovely weather, good views, clean beach, nice bars in the area, family friendly restaurants and bars, quiet (apart from the building works!) Hendry's bar was excellent, very friendly staff, lovely food and happy for us to take our children in the evening.

Bad Points:

No-one told us the shops closed from Saturday pm-Monday am, so struggled to get baby food. Thankfully, found a chemist that sold formula milk (they don’t sell it in supermarkets). Had to pay for the travel cot twice, and when it came it was not very clean. And the money was non-refundable. No kettle, and every time we switched on the cooker, the electrics tripped. Did not know about the deposit until we got there.

No holiday rep! The bar was closed for 2 nights of the 7 we were there, and when it did open was only for a couple of hours!! The only entertainment was bingo at 9pm, win a toilet roll. Pool only open 1 hour a day, sunbeds in car park and VERY grumpy staff.

Overall, Benidorm was lovely, but this resort was not for small children, more for couples and stag parties.

On arrival we were dropped at the back of the hotel (which became the main entrance for us as we didn't make the 1am deadline for the front door), on seeing the pool area was happy (no sun beds, they are in the car park, all 8 of them) but well grassed area with a clean and tidy pool. Pool not very big and more than 50-80 people would be a bit cramped, but still the beach is only 200-300 yards away.

On booking in 60 euro refundable deposit required per room, 8 euros for the safe key 5 refunded. On to the room, basic but clean and tidy. The windows on the balcony could have done with a clean but a good view. THE BAR very important for us as it was a stag do, cheap at 23 euros for 13 pints of what was not a bad drop, also they opened up early just for us?

The rest of the amenities were pretty basic but serviceable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Once out side the hotel the choice wasn't very hard TURN left and walk (although HENDRYS did supply a good breakfast 5 and a half euros - large). As other reviews have stated the beach is great warm and clean also quiet (missed all the kids). Shop-wise you can't afford to be choosy cause there ain't a lot. But after 10mins walk some shops start to appear. 7 euro's on a taxi to the new town is well spent.

The sea front is nice (a little dear 42 euro's for 13 pints) but if a bar is empty even at 4 in the afternoon there is a GOOD reason why (the BEER IS RUBBISH). The GUINNESS bar is good 4 sports to start, then on to the strip. The main strip is what you expect, everybody can get you free shots, 2-4-1's, fizzy wine (depending on your skill you can get good results, 26 vodka red bulls 32 euros and 2-4-1's all night). There are some bars to avoid (a man in a cowboy hat, vest , bum-bag, tartan shorts singing chocolate salty balls should have been a give away but it had been a long night). Moving on very quickly people friendly, weather great and what we needed. Not too sure for a family holiday but it takes 'all sorts Bertie'. The only reason for a seven is because of the lack of bars near the hotel.

I went to Beni-Beach apartments thinking I bet this place has tiny rooms and rubbish facilities. I was wrong!! I think it was the best apartments I had been in. I am only thirteen but I have had plenty holidays in my time.

The staff were very friendly and the night guard was pleasant. The only downfall was you had to walk up a hill if you weren't in by 01:00. I guess it's no problem if you are sober (like me) but some drunks had a hard time.

If you enjoy eating out 'Hendry’s' bar is exceptional. You get a variety of foods and a small choice of children's meals. The booze and food are at a good price. The night-life is good on Wednesdays - Thursdays as DJ-Stew is your cabaret host. Otherwise it is okay but you must put a card in for karaoke as no one gets you up like Stew. He picks you on Bluetooth so turn it off! He is a great person though.

The bar staff are very friendly. This includes Jude, Darren and Ade. Paul who takes orders on a dinner time is also friendly and his brother frank, they both run bar Hendry’s. Frank runs the bar and Paul runs the restaurant and they have a cigarette machine in the pub near the men's toilets. But if you are using the machine it only takes euro coins.

We will go to Benidorm again and some must sees are: New edition, Ritch ****es and queens.

From Hendry’s best customer... Chantelle burns. Luv all of you at Hendry’s!! ! You made my holiday worth while. I will see you soon. Bibi xxx

Me and a friend booked to stay here after a great holiday in Benidorm in August.

We paid £230 each for a 2 bedroom apartment and although I can't fault the accommodation/ location - just 50m from the beach, when we arrived after an 8 hour delay in the early hours of the morning we were greeted by a Spanish porter who spoke little English and were given a 1 bedroom apartment.

Throughout the week we spoke to the rep several times as we also booked to go on a boat trip but the info wasn't passed on, so we waited for an hour at the meeting point and wasn't picked up.

The weather was bad all week too though we didn't really mind that, it was just everything seemed to go wrong.

All in all I would recommend these apartments they are really clean and the staff are friendly.

It’s the travel agents who were at fault, we eventually almost 6-7 months later got compensation... Airtours vouchers.

We booked the holiday before reading any of the reviews about the Beni Beach and so after reading were left wondering if we had done the right thing. We arrived at 4.30am due to flight delays and were met by a smiling (always!) and very helpful Toni who straight away alleviated any concerns over the helpfulness of the staff.

The apartments were clean and basic but had everything that a family of four needed (2 adults, 2 children 10 &12). As we didn’t go on holiday to spend time in the apartment it provided a perfect base. The apartment had everything you would expect, small kitchen, fridge, cooker (not sure if it worked, didn’t need / want to use it), clean bathroom (awesome shower) and a balcony with fantastic views across the whole bay.

There is a bar but this was always empty as most people went out, a games area which again seen little use. The pool area was clean and there was enough space to sit out in the sun or hide under a tree if you want shade, it is a leisure pool which is great for the kids. Bizarrely the sun loungers are in the car park and I didn’t see anyone use them.

Just across the road there is the best beach in Europe by miles, clean sea and sand with plenty of sun loungers and space (if you sit back a little from the sea front). There are plenty of places to eat along the sea front (both English and Spanish restaurants) all offering affordable meals. There is a supermarket and newsagents about 100m from the apartments along the sea front. It seems most people do speak English.

The old town (Less than 10 mins walk from Beni Beach) is lively and vibrant (not as tacky as we were expecting) with plenty of little shops, bars and restaurants. Be aware that most restaurants in the old town do not serve meals before 8pm or even later.

We went on a trip to Aqualandia and Mundomar, this was an excellent day out, and the dolphin show at Mundomar is fantastic! Aqualandia was very busy and there were long waits to get on some of the slides but this was at the height of the holiday period so it was not unexpected. Well worth a visit if you have children that can swim.

Given the cheap cost of our holiday Benidorm exceeded our expectations. I would certainly go back and would recommend the Beni Beach to anyone who does not expect five star accommodations and can make the 100m journey to the supermarket to spend a Euro and buy their own loo roll.

Well well well what can I say...

Just enjoyed one of the best 7 days holiday my partner and myself have had for a long time!

Beni beach apartments were clean and very pleasant with spectacular views from the huge balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the nightshift receptionist Luis Antonio or Toni as he liked to be called.

It didn’t matter how late you came back to the apartments you were met with a smile and a helping hand if required! Hendrys bar just along from beni beach is a great place to start the day (breakfast) and end it with a late drink and a great karaoke!

As they say enter a stranger and leave a friend!! Jack, Liz, Stewart and Bruno great karaoke hosts! A short walk takes you to the old town and all the shopping you can handle, 6 euros in a taxi and you’re in the new town where’s there's entertainment to suit all tastes.

The Levante beach is very busy whilst Poniente is quiet, ideal if you want some peace and quiet and it is only across the road from the apartments!

This was an ideal holiday in ideal surroundings and we will certainly be going back!

Okay, to start I agree it was nothing luxurious! But if that is what you want then you know that you aren't going to get it by paying £1700 (inc. flight) for a family of four for two weeks. In my opinion, it was well worth your money!

Good points:

* Amazing view from all of the floors! I couldn't have been better, the apartments are situated in a perfect position, Poniente beach is just across the road and Poniente in my opinion is the best beach in Benidorm (Levante is always packed and is quite dirty!)

* Rooms are clean and spacious. And the beds are situated so you can see out of the window onto the beach.

* Helpful staff the receptionist is Spanish and is fluent in at least 3 languages (Spanish, English and I heard her speaking German to) Also the barman is very helpful.

* Great pool it isn’t massive but who needs a pool when the beach is across the road?

Bad points:

* Towels and sheets changed twice a week

* No kettle

* Doesn't provide loo paper

Also:

* A few Tips for when you get there. When you come out of the beach entrance (via the lifts) there is a supermarket to the right (next to a bar called Salvador’s) do not go in there!! He sells things for double the price of every-other supermarket!

For example we wanted to buy a normal 500ml bottle of water and it was 35c BUT if you wanted it from the fridge it was 75c. So we went to the supermarket a bit further down the road (to the left) and bought a 5L bottle of water for only 70c!

* Salvador’s Bar is fantastic you must try the English breakfast just once! It is great value for money and staff are friendly!

* Also try his brothers bar Hendry's which is to the left of the apartments!

We stayed for a week with our daughter and son in law. Greeted by very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice and clean apartments, basic but nice. Towels were changed twice a week. Beautiful views, breath taking.

Nice walks to shops, restaurants and easy to access a bus or a taxi. Would visit again and we are soon.

It is only for use as a place to sleep and there is lots of entertainment outside. Very peaceful. My nearly wed daughter was greeted in her room by a bottle of bubbly.
