Out of this world!!!
We spent our honeymoon here and it was absolutely fabulous - we could not fault a thing.
We had an amazing view of the lake (which changes on an hourly basis) from our large balcony, the room was extremely clean, we had a fully stocked mini bar, air-conditioning was fab although we didn't have it on at night as the room was cool anyway.
All of the staff were very friendly and service was fast and efficient at breakfast and dinner. The food was incredible - we had the choice from a 5 course a la carte menu each evening. Every night we were only going to have 3 courses but the menu was far too tempting. The 20 min walk along the lakeside in to town soon burned off a few calories.
There are not many places we would revisit - but this will be one!

This hotel was advertised as a four star hotel but it was anything but. We had to share our balcony we next door room and they could come right to our balcony door, which was not secure.
The walls were so thin we could hear their conversations and toilet flushing. The room was cheaply decorated with old furnishings. The minibar only had water. The bathroom was full of bugs and very dirty.
We had no porter and as bed and breakfast only customers, we were treated very differently from the half board customers, for example the waiters would continue to fill up their glasses with water and chat with them, we had to wait several minutes before we could even order our wine, never mind getting our glasses filled!
We also had to share our outdoor pool with another hotel with not enough loungers for us.

Fabulous hotel. The staff were most friendly and efficient. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the lake. The food was out of this world, and the wine...!
The area is beautiful, stunning views everywhere you look, and very clean.
One criticism...the hotel has no air conditioning and 2 nights it was very humid and difficult to sleep.

We cannot fault this hotel, the staff and service are superb, the area is of outstanding beauty, the food and wine are out of this world, and the accomodation is as good as anywhere we have stayed, and we are seasoned travellers who have stayed in some of the top hotels in the world (Reids Palace, Madeira and The Peninsula, Hong Kong plus many others).
