Hotel Villa Padierna

We recently returned from a three night stay at VP. Great hotel with tremendous service, just what you would expect from a Ritz Carlton (this hotel is not owned by RC, it is owned privately by an individual but run by RC). Hotel is absolutely beautiful. If you golf, the course is great to play, but bring your "A" game, it is challenging!! Fantastic service.Amazing food at all restaurants/pool bar/breakfast. The suite we stayed in was lovely, and the bathroom was beautiful.Everywhere was very clean.The beach club will be great when its finished, but was a little on the noisy side when we stayed as the builders were working on it. If you want to relax and un-wind, this is the place to be.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The room was up to Ritz-Carlton standards with huge bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Free wi-fi. The pool was great, the Roman theme to the hotel was very tasteful, and the spa was amazing. Our experience was that the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We could not have asked for anything more from them. We rented a car which made getting into town much easier--I would highly recommend doing the same. No wait for taxis. Having read some of the recent reviews we where somewhat concerned about our planned trip to Villa Padierna Hotel. Our concerns were soon forgotton. The hotel is beautifully appointed ,with large public rooms elegant gardens and large well equipt bedrooms. The pool is small and at the hight of summer there was pressure for sun beds, especially in the afternoon. The staff couldnt be faulted for there politness and desire to assist no matter what. On arrival at the hotel, we were a little alarmed by the fact that the hotel is in a valley with a lovely golf course but surrounded by lots of building work and cranes on the horizon...there are lots of golf villas etc being built. Once you get used to that, you don't really notice, although I must say that sitting on our balcony in the afternoons was much quieter at the weekends when the builders were not working That aside, the hotel is really beautiful. I spent a month in Marbella this summer and the Villa Padierna was a nearly daily destination for me and my two girls. It is the loveliest, and most pleasant place in all the coast. With serene and elegant interiors, superb personal service, you'll find yourself coming back for more. My boyfriend and I spent 5 days at the Villa Padierna in July 06. The hotel itself was absolutely lovely, the room was gorgeous, lovely big balcony and huge rainfall shower etc. The pool area was also beautiful, very quiet and relaxing. The staff were a tad slow with lunch orders but were polite none the less. The only negative thing I would have to say about this hotel is its location, if you want to go to Puerto Banus every night!!!! Just a few lines to tell everyone that we have a memorable stay in Villa Padierna. From the arrival until our departure. We have a very fast check in and at all the times we were recognized by our names. We were accompanied by a porter to our room which it was spectacular. We have just returned from a fabulous four day break at the Villa Padierna. We were given a room with surely the best views in the hotel - room 119 overlooking the beautiful courtyard by the pool - thus avoiding any views of local construction (which isn't actually that bad and we weren't disturbed by any noise from it). The Villa Padierna is an oasis in the middle of the Flamingos golf course. We booked a junior suite which was spacious and with a lovely sitting area overlooking the golf course and the sea. The bathroom was all marble and there was a rainshower, a separate bath and double sinks with amenities from Penhaligon's. We ate dinner at the main restaurant, La Veranda,and had very good fish.
