Was disappointed with the hotel but didn't expect that much as it was a 2-star and we were going out all day anyway. First impressions of the rooms were that it was extremely insecure and unsafe as the doors looked like they had been tampered with. The carpets were horrible... more

Do not stay at this hotel unless you wish to have the cleaning staff steal money from your own room! I left $550 in my drawer under my underwear one morning as I was in a hurry and when I came back later that night the money was gone. The hotel staff knew who had been in... more

This was our second time of staying in this hotel. We booked it independantly and it was very cheep. Think I would have been disapointed if paid what the tour operators wanted. the staff were graet. Had emailed what our room request was a few weeks before traveling. ... more

DO NOT STAY HERE 0/10 Disgusting and an absolute disgrace to the hotel trade. We checked in but did not stay. We were given this accommodation on the last minute due to our travel agent making an error in our booking. I have just read these reviews having returned from... more

My wife and i came to this hotel last aug. and i have to say we had a great time. The Hotel is basic, but very clean. The staff were very friendly and our rooms were cleaned daily. The bar was also a great place to chill out after a hectic day at the parks. At the end of... more

We booked to stay here for our first night of our fly drive holiday in Florida. We knew we were arriving quite late in the evening and that we would be up early the next morning to drive on to fort lauderdale, so we decided we would just book the cheapest room we could... more

This hotel was disgusting. We had cockroaches in room as did lots of other guests. There was human faeces on the floor (well I’m guessing human as pets not allowed). Asked maid several times to clean and she said not her job, so I had to do it as well as other cleaning.... more

i loved this place good location for shoppings and parks and spacially i loved t
i stayed at this hotel for 3 ngts and enjoyed so much very good location for shopping and parks and i really enjoyed the pool and bar staff was great at this time hotel is under renovation and so far what they have done looks great i have no complaint for this hotel specially i am going back in october again with my friends and family and staying there for 21 nights
The worst place I have NEVER stayed
DO NOT STAY HERE ! 0/10 Filthy Damp Decaying Insecure Stretch your budget slightly there is much better to be had elsewhere. We were booked in here at the last minute by travel agent after they had made an error in our accommodation. All the worst reviews you read here are the truth. We left the rooms within 1/2 hour of checking in and found alternative accommodation. I am in the process of writing to my travel agent and tour operator enclosing photos of the rooms and am seriously questioning how this hotel can be offered... more
Nice Place For The Money
After reading the reviews I was so nervous of the reservations I had booked. When I got there it wasn't bad at all. The elevator made alot of noise and the hallways were dirty. The room was clean and smelled fresh and clean. The sheets and towels were very clean. We had the 4th floor rooms that were remodeled. The staff was very nice. The TV remote didnt work, we went to the front desk and within minutes there was someone knocking at the door with a new one. I could not complain about the stay after all I was charged $25 nite. Can't go... more
Good for the money
I stayed at this hotel in October 2004. The location is set back from International Drive but you can walk to I Drive in 3 mins. It is also approx. 20 mins walk to Universal Studios, although there is free transport to the park and to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom. The buses do get very crowded and you will probably have to stand but this might have been resolved by the time you get there. The hotel is also within walking distance to Wet n' Wild and one of the factory outlet stores. The hotel is also a 2... more
What's the fuss? Not Perfect but not expensive either
We booked into this hotel on the internet, mainly due to it being half the price of the other hotels in the area. We read the reviews on the internet, some good and some very bad. We were worried about what to expect but took the attitude that if it was appalling, we could check into another hotel whilst we were out there. When we arrived the hotel receptionist was cheerful and very helpful. We were given our rooms and as a previously mentioned the decoration was shocking and should have been done with more taste, by someone that wasn't... more
Not fit for pigs!!
Due to timeshare/flight dates conflicting we had to stay one night in a local hotel. We had driven up I-drive, looking for a room for the following night and had turned down one hotel room before we stumbled upon the Travelodge, we asked to see a room but they had none clean and none vacant, thinking that they must be the same as Travelodges in the UK we settled for a picture example of a room. Next day we checked in Feb 11, we were allocated a room on the ground floor, what a disgrace, the walls were a shabby pink and orange, the... more
Impressed
Ok so this is not really a 3 star hotel. A 2 star is what you should really expect. But I think a lot of the 3 star hotels on the I drive are really only a 2. I was struggling to find a hotel a few weeks before I was set to fly off to Orland last June. Everything was sold out in my price range. I was so impressed with paying $21 a night for my room. That was only $21 for 3 adults! Some places charge you a fortune but I got a bargain. When we got there I was suprised at how friendly the staff were. The room we had been... more
Not fit for dogs
I am not a snob at all, we normally go for cheap late deals, but this hotel was a complete joke, we booked it on the pretence it was a 3 star! More like 1 star. The reception area is fine and if the rest of the hotel was like that it would have been your average 3 star hotel. But it wasn’t - the walk ways/ lifts were so dirty, the lifts jammed and had a really bad smell. On the odd occasion they cleaned this hotel, the amount of water leaking from the taps/hose was a joke, it caused pools of water. The rooms smelt terrible,... more
Cheap but not very good
Booked this hotel for a two night stop-over in Orlando and two nights was enough. Room smelt very damp and had a dirty feel to it. Carpet was damp and grubby. The advertised continental breakfast was a disgrace consisting of mini muffins and very cheap unedible donuts. Free park transfer was useful. You could argue though what do you expect for £21($40) per room per night!!!!! If you are looking for a very cheap stay on I-Drive have found the Rodeway to be a little better and cleaner.
Wouldn't stay again, even for free!
Everything is dirty, filthy carpet, stained sheets and pillows with burns, sheets too small and stink, TV doesn't work well. Awful complimentary breakfast (they shoudn't even mention that), poor schuttle (too small and no a/c), poor service, incluiding front desk. There's a gorbage can in front of the old and rusty ice machice. I stayed 6 nights, including two w/ the hurricane France, which they didn't provide refrigerator and microwave, unless you pay for it.
