Having been in the Travel industry for over 20 years, during which time I worked with Global Tours and American Express, I was a bit wary when I read some of the comments after I had booked our holiday to the Hotel Apolo. I need not have worried. From my experience in the... more

The hotel was fine for the price we paid. The staff did not speak much english and were not that helpful but we found our own way around OK. The rooms were clean but basic. It seemed like we were the only British people staying there. The food was nice but repetitive. What the hell the weather was good and i had a fab holiday!!!

non existent balcony!
Me and my friend stayed at this hotel last summer and liked it but the thing that really wound us up was the fact that having booked a room with a balcony we got a small room on the side of the building without a balcony! we went to tell the reps and their argument was that it wasnt on their records as having paid for a balcony and they didnt move us to another room, considering we stayed there for two weeks we were not happy! the bar staff here were brilliant,be warned tho, them girls make strong drinks!lol the atmosphere... more
Great atmosphere!!
My partner & I spent a week at the Apolo in August 2006. The accomodation is spacious enough for two (that's all you need in Ibiza, a base!!!) & clean. The staff were very friendly & will go out of their way to help in any way they can. The pool is quite small, but the beach is close enough, so we never really spent much time there. The food is quite good ( similar to pub grub at home) but not 5* star. All in all, we had a GREAT week!!
Apollo Hotel, San An Bay, Ibiza
The Hotel Apollo looks really nice from inside and out, and is very clean, there is a small shop at the end of the street were you can buy water, juice and snacks. The pool area also has a bar which serves food all day and night and doesnt shut till the last person leaves. It also has a pool table and sky tv and the bar staff are really friendly. On arrival we were given a very small sweaty room with one small window, and was in coplete darkness even through the day (think prison cell and you'll get the idea!) We complained to... more
Clean, Friendly and Typically Spanish
Just returned from a week in the Apolo hotel Can Pastilla. It is a three star hotel and typically Spanish so if you don't like Spanish food then don't go, but the hotel is clean, rooms are clean and compact, pool area is clean and staff are friendly. Beach is a two minute walk, bus stop to Palma (No. 15) is a five minute walk. If you want four star then go to a four star as the reviews I read before I went were not very complimentary, but this really is a GOOD Spanish three star hotel don't expect any more and you will enjoy it. My wife and... more
FANTASTIC LOCATION
Stayed here for a long weekend. Peaceful and quiet location ( exept for airport noise, which realy wasent any troubles) Freindly staff. Good food quality. Exelent pool bar area, with beautiful sunsets over the sea...ALL IN ONE A REALY NICE PLACE...To all your party freaks... this is not the area.
hated every minute!!!!!!
We were put in this hotel as our hotel across the road was supposed to be fully booked. We thought we had gone to germany. The hotel staff were not very helpful and seemed to charge whatever they liked for drinks as we were not fully inclusive, the only entertainment we had was the use of the 2 pools and also the pool tables in the lounge, provided you could get on them for the germans. As for not noticing the aircraft noise the other person who wrote in must be deaf because you noticed them every single day and night!!!!! This holiday was a... more

myself and my family are returning to the apolo for the fourth year running. we have been visiting can pastilla for over 12 years. (I AM ONLY 35) the apolo is a typical internet booking plus more. the staff make you feel at home and help you wherever possible. the all inclusive basis is a bonus. i have been to a few "AI" hotels in the past, and been given not so good "free drinks" but in the apolo, it gives you vodka and whisky you can taste. you are merely 60 seconds from a superb child friendly beach (with great bars), and a further... more
Never again in the Apolo
We have just came back from Apolo, what a place !I was looking for the beach all rocks what a lie please update your photo, when I got in to the hotel I thought I was in Germany we booked all inclusive and straight away we were tagged with very tight white wrist band and told wrist was to stay on all week classy right then, with doing a little research and learning a bit of Spanish to find the staff would only understand German strange, anyway the place was clean as you would aspect, however the food was very very poor we imagined we were in... more
Hated the apolo
I have just came home from the apolo hotel in can pastilla majorca never never will we go back... The hotel is clean but very unfriendly, the food is worse than terrible, my husband my 9 year old son and i thought the pictures of the hotel looked great but when we arrived we found they were misleading. The view of the beach looks as though its all sand and this is not so its all rocks, you can go to a sandy beach though which is a 15 min walk away on the other side of the hotel. The balcony doors in our room did not lock and when we reported... more
3* Hotel with 5* staff
We had booked a holiday with Airtours, but had to cancel, decided to book privately, flights, car hire and hotel etc. Found Apolo Hotel and as it was all-inclusive and much cheaper then half board decided on it. It is mainly german in its holiday clients and may for some not appeal because of this, but if you are open minded, the staff at this hotel will more than make up for your doubts. It was booked through Med Hotels, but it can be found in Majorcan websites too and booked directly. The reception staff and dining room staff are wonderful... more
