Hotel Description:

One of the most prestigious hotels in Crete, the Grecotel Creta Palace is almost a resort in itself. Elegantly furnished throughout, the main building is surrounded by three garden room villages set in colourful landscaped gardens. Right by a fine sandy beach and five kilometres from the centre of Rethymnon, among the key features here are a large seawater pool and a traditional Cretan village square with a selection of shops, a typical Greek café and even a private chapel.

We chose this hotel from the Thomson a la carte brochure as it looked the ideal place for my husband and myself to have a relaxing holiday. How wrong could we have been!!!!

THIS WAS MY FOURTH VISIT TO THE CRETA PALACE AND THIS YEAR WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED. THEY HAD REFIRBISHED THE DINNING ROOM AND THOUGH WE HAD BOOKED ALA CARTE IT WAS NOT.

Having stayed at one of Grecotels other hotels, the 5 star Rethymna Beach last year on full board we thought we'd try the Creta Palace 4k closer to Rethymnon and rated as one of the most luxurious hotels on Crete.

I've been to this Hotel 3 times now. It is one of the nicest places on earth. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are also top notch. We staid in the main building facing the sea.
