My (24 year old) son and I have just returned from a fantastic week at this superb hotel. We have had other enjoyable holidays with Travelsphere before and I usually prefer touring, so was a bit apprehensive at the thought of a week in one place. But my son wanted a 'flop out/relaxing' holiday so we decided to give it a try.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted (with a glass of sparkling wine)and treated with extreme courtesy by all the staff and nothing was too much trouble. On the three holidays I have shared with my son since losing my husband we have paid a bit extra for two single rooms and we are sometimes given, literally, a single room each.
Not so here - luxurious, spacious double rooms with a balcony and a lovely view of the sea and blue, lagoon-like swimming pools were provided. The mini bar is replenished daily - but you hardly need to use it as (being all inclusive) free drinks of all descriptions are provided in the bars, restaurants and even the night club. Poolside staff regularly come round as you are sunbathing on the comfortable sunloungers and bring you any drink (and even ice cream) you want.
We enjoyed some of the entertainments eg they did a very good version of the musicals 'Mamma Mia' and 'We Will Rock You'and other guests (guess which gender!) watched the International Football Game on the big screen on the relevant night.
The food was superb and the choice amazing - and when we went on an excursion into the Greek countryside, they even provided a free packed lunch for us.
And my fears for a 'boring'week?- totally groundless. What with swimming, aqua gym, water polo etc in the pool; volley ball, petanque and darts; the well equipped gym and spa; quizzes (with a prize) etc, etc I scarcely had time to read even one of the three books I had taken in anticipation of having 'nothing to do'.
Obviously, the brilliant weather had something to do with our satisfaction (I agree with the previous reviewer that there was nothing much to do in the nearby small town)but there was plenty to do on the inside of this spacious hotel - and all the bedrooms have satellite TV and a DVD player (but happily we didn't have time to play the ones we took with us).
All in all a blissfully luxurious and relaxing holiday - and given that I am twice my son's age we can honestly say this is a good hotel for different age groups. My son can't wait to bring his girlfriend here. As everything is provided they will only have to save up and pay for the trip up front (good value with Travelsphere)as, apart from any optional excusions, there was no need to spend any money at all!
- Advice: Worth taking one or two excursions to get a
- Activities: No need to wander far from the hotel as all is provided.

Just returned yesterday from the fantastic Oceania Club. I went with my Girlfriend we're 23 & 25. I've stayed in lots of Hotels and this is by far and away the best I've ever stayed in.
The attention to detail is excellent. We ate in the Greek Restaurant one night (included in the all inclusive, but you have to book) this restaurant over looks the Agean and the main pool. Whilst sat there I pointed out to the missus that the man re-arranging the sun beds was using a really long rope to ensure they were all perfectly level. Each set of two sunbeds has a table, brolly and mattress for each bed.
On another day they were replacing some floor tiles around the pool as they had cracks in, doesn't sound like much but how many hotels care about this sort of stuff? There is real pride taken in the appearance and it looks brand spanking new because they look after it so well.
From the moment you arrive you are greated with Italian sparkling wine which tastes so refreshing after a long day travelling. The mini is filled daily, as are the shower gels etc they provide.
The evening entertainment wasn't really geared to our age group but there was plenty of cocktails to keep us occupied (try the kir royal!). We did go to the audience participation shows which were a real giggle. There is also a nightclub open until 2am. The daytime entertainment was great with volleyball, water polo, Darts etc each day
On a good day you can see Mount Olympus over the sea with it's snow capped peak....Stunning!
5 good points:
- It really is ALL inclusive, we spent around 200 euros on papers and treatments in the spa. You could go without a penny and not want anything!
- Great staff
- Good food for an all inclusive, they're always cooking something in front of you on the buffet so you know it's fresh
- Not having to move from your sun bed for a beer!
- Views from the room, each one has a sea view
5 bad points (I'm being picky here!)
- Lots of little birds flying around the pool that nest in the buildings
- Our fridge didn't work.... but they'd fixed it within 10 mins of reporting it!! (I'm trying to be objective here!)
- Nea Moudania itself, don't bother going to the town unless you need more suncream etc there really is nothing to see and the market is a waste of time. Stay in the hotel and enjoy it!

Went to the Oceania Club in August 2008, 2 Adults, 2 children 7 & 14.
Well you get what you pay for. This was by far the best holiday I have ever had.
I don’t mind paying for quality but then expect to get it and here you most certainly do, I was very lucky to get an amazing deal with SaniHolidays.Com online, but it would have been worth the higher price some other operators were quoting.
This was pure luxury and pampering from start to finish
Collected at the airport by a designated driver
Porter to your room
Mini bar in room replenished daily
Room cleaned every day and towels replaced twice a day
Accommodation was excellent, clean spacious, everything you would expect from this quality of hotel
Food was amazing, no winging from the kids either, was nice they catered for children without them having to have chips every night
We stayed in a deluxe junior suite and so had entrance to the privilege club – truly worth the upgrade
Pool never too busy, can get a sunbed anytime of the day
Drinks served to you at your sunbed, pure luxury
Café bar, for lunch and ice creams by the pool
Not like a normal all inclusive though, food left everywhere, they always seems to be discreetly cleaning up after the guests
Entertainment was great
Waiter service all the time for drinks
All inclusive included all drinks named brands, cocktails etc
We only used the Greek restaurant once and the buffet the rest of the time as it was so good, food constantly replenished, not left sitting there for hours
Would I go here again – Every year if I can afford it!!!!!

this is a quality resort not cheap/ beech is stone. entrance reception/lounge very impressive
rooms are ok but a little dated and are in need of a refit but very clean just as you
think you have paid well over the top you find the food is very good i have never enjoyed holiday food as much as this 8 & 9 out of ten most of the time .again i can not stress this enough the food is excellent
a choice of two restaurant Italian and Greek we used the Italian waiters are kind and experienced and try very hard
the Greek we used at lunch times again the food was very good again 8 & 9 out of ten
i have never been so well feed
as well as the main restaurants there are small snack
bars dotted around
we asked for a room change no problem with a porter in attendance
a word of warning the lifts have no inside door and walls and balconies have low tops
some care is needed
now for the down side we had a problem with the booking dates the reception was very
jobs worth with little customer service after having a interaction with miss don't care we
requested the general manager the fault was not there but sun-master but i expect
customer service
Ii must admit she listened and agreed that they had also made mistakes we had to change rooms
we had a free meal and a bottle of wine
i am also convinced the general manager will changes to customer service and reception
systems so as to make less mistakes and help customers in trouble.
if you don't mind paying a good price this resort is a good choice
not with sunmaster! bob2

This was a fantastic hotel!
We went for two weeks at the beginning of May for my sisters wedding when we arrived we was directed to Helio's Hall (where they do the nightly enterainment) for us to fill out our guest information and recieve hotel details and room key with a complimentry glass of sparkling wine or fresh orange juice. They then welcomed us and directed to where our rooms where (this is a big hotel with 5 buildings full of rooms).
Now when i've read the reviews before going they said all rooms was sea view however not all are. Luckily we were upgraded to the deluxe rooms (building 5) with us being wedding guests which gave us use of the private room and pool bar which is only suspose to be for guests in building 5 - however a few more guests of our party only came for the week and was not in our building but they still used the pool and bar (although we did keep joking that if they caused trouble we would get them kicked off our turf! lol!). Also 2 people in out party that came in the second week had to pay for their sea room view as it was the last room and they paid to secure that luxury.
Staff in all areas of the hotel was so helpful and very friendly - even to the point during the wedding reception i needed to pop back to my room and they took me on the buggy as my feet were hurting!!
They is a free mini bar in the room which stocks house white and red wine, 2 can mythos beer, 2 bottles of water and a carton of orange juice which is replenished daily if you have used anything - there is also tea and coffee making facilities.
The bar on a night near Helio's Hall gets busy just before and after the entertainment and was only often maned by 1 member of staff as there were several waitresses doing table service and even though several people pushed in before me - i just ordered several drinks to keep me going.
I lost my all inclusive card twice and each time i didn't have to pay for another - but to be honest once they know your face, you don't need to flash it.
There was so much food to choose from for breakfast, dinner and tea - we all have second/third helpings and pudding!
The internet is expensive 6 euro's for an hour and my other sister spent a fortune speaking to her boyfriend.
There is a mini market, games and internet room. cinema, and a small selection of amusements.
There are a lot of stairs to go down to the beach as the hotel is built into the hillside but for parents with prams there is a steep road so the stairs don't need to be used.
The beach is pebbly but not that bad and there were a selection of watersports - the pedlos are free but the catamaran and jet ski's was chargable and i think you needed a licience. They didn't have the introductory diving session in the pool but that maybe because it was the beginning of the season but they did other activities such as archery.
We did have some bad weather but when that happened we sat by the bar geting drunk and playing cards - and my younger sister took the kids to kids club where there was a soft indoor play area and they also did activities with them such as making pizza's.
However there is an indoor pool - which was only heated slightly and the clorine was strong - this was on the ground floor near the gym and spa.
The DVD player is only region 2 (UK region) and the english channels where limited but when we wasn't sat by the pool we watched either the news, german cartons or our dvd's that we brought. I recommend taking some as the selection to rent wasn't that great (i think i must have seen enchanted about a millions times now).
The entertainment on a night was really good this season they have mamma mia and we will rock you, bingo, casino night, name that tune game, Hollywood night etc However this is only on for 6 nights out of the week (as thursdays are the main departure and arrival day) and so there is a pianist for entertainment in the blue bar instead.
The nightclub is all inclusive till 2am and it wasn't that busy but it was still good if you wanted to keep on drinking - the music was mainly R&B but they did play some other music upon request.
As for the wedding they never got married on the complex not sure why but they married in the town hall in kassandrea - which was lovely but at least half hours drive away and it fits about 50 guests in and the service only last around 5 minutes - you cannot marry on a weekend.
The buggy came and picked the bride up to take her to reception to get her taxi.
We wasn't originally going to go to the town hall as we was told that the cermony would be done again at the hotel, but that is only someone reading the vows of a card and my sister didn't want that so we all took it upon ourselves to got to the wedding at the town hall - we managed to blag our taxi for 60 euros return as oppossed to the wedding car which was 120 euros (this was more expensive as it suspose to be professionally cleaned but it look just like the taxi's we had!).
When we got back we had our reception in the Helio's Bar were they did a 2 tiered chocolate cake decorated with fresh cream and flowers and serveral glasses of sparking wine (1 bottle was free and they paid 15 euro's each for the other 2). When we finished they had the cake took to her room.
There room was decorated with flower petals in a shape of a love heart with another bottle of sparkling wine and fresh fruit - on the night when we came back from dinner they had put unlit tea lights all around the room with another bottle of sparkling wine.
The wedding breakfast was delivered to the room at around 10am which had a huge selection of cheese, ham, crossiants, smoothies, tea, coffee and fruit (as it was the bride's 21st they'd made her another fresh chocolate cake.
If terms of the trips we didn't do any - if your wanting to go into the town there is a shuttle bus but the walk to down going along the beach in nicer and takes 10 minutes. There are several banks and a large supermarket in the town. On wednesday's the town does a sunday style market lots of fresh food and fish, clothes and bags to look at but we never bought anything.
I wanted to put this review up as before i went away i found it hard to find reviews for this hotel but i would completely recommend it but is more family orinated though and OK for couples not wanting a lively holiday but relaxing.
We all throughly enjoyed ourselfs.

We sayed at the Oceania Beach Club for a week from 8th May 08. We are a family with a 12 and 17 year old!. I feel this was a few weeks too early in the season, everything at the hotel was up and running, however most of the guests were elderley or young couples with babies. As a consequence there was no entertainment for the kids. A side from that, the location is truly 5 star. Fantastic views, stunning pool areas and well kept gardens. We had a Junior suite. Plenty of space and nice and clean. Large bathroom, however the shower was not he best, the water was only a trickle and the shower head kept falling off!. All rooms seemed to have a fantastic sea view.
The All Inclusive package was great. Food was good, however we could not book the other two restraunts as they were always full which was disapointing. There was only one bar open after 8pm for the whole hotel.
All the staff were very friendly and helpfull. In order to get down to the beach there are about 40 to 50 steps, or via a steep slope. This would be difficult for the less mobile, but once there the beach is great, but stoney. would deffinaley return.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Oceania Club. It was the best holiday we have had. Our party had 2 adults and a small child and there was something for everyone.
The food is excellent with so much choice; it is hard not to go back for more. The staff are so polite and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is clean and highly maintained. The evening entertainment is very good for adults, although the children’s entertainment could be for a bit longer. The children seemed to enjoy themselves.
Will be booking to go again next year, it was that good.

Just returned from what I can only describe as the best holiday we have ever had. We went to Oceania Club for 10 nights, our party ranged from 2 - 63. There was something for everyone.
The food in all the restaurants was excellent. They have 3 A La Carte restaurants, Asian, Italian and Greek - the rule is you can eat once in each per week, we ate at the Asian 3 times and nothing was said.
The main pool is fabulous with games and things organised throughout the day.
Some of our party stayed in deluxe junior suites and had access to another pool, they said it was much quieter and loungers more spaced out.
The rooms were very nice with individual air con, Satellite TV and a DVD player - not that we used them much the weather was fantastic.
The beach was ok enough sand for the younger kids to make sandcastles!
The drink was international brands so a very good quality. The kids clubs were very well organised and a welcome break for us oldies every morning and afternoon.
We have been on many All Inclusive holidays but this has to be the best standard yet.
Already looking to book for next year!

We have just come back from a really excellent holiday at the Oceania Club in Nea Moudania. Couldn't fault the hotel at all, the staff cannot do enough for you and they are extremely friendly.
The hotel is superbly set out and we really liked the fact that the lively parts of the hotel, i.e. the night clubs and bars are completely separate from your hotel rooms so it makes your bedrooms lovely and peaceful especially if you have young children with you.
The main restaurant, Thalassa, is extremely good and the food is of a very high standard and lots of choice to suit the whole family, we didn't try the special restaurants on site purely out of choice but the people we spoke to also said that they were very good.
The kid’s entertainment is very good and the soft play area in the hotel is worth a visit with the young ones.
The swimming pools are spotlessly clean and very enjoyable.
The beach is a little bit stony but is perfectly fine if you have flip flops on or jelly shoes for little ones, they have just fitted a platform on the beach to help you get over the stony bits and out to the sea better, they have thought of everything!!
Overall, the hotel and the resort were great! You too will enjoy I am sure!

We have just come back from a 7 day all inclusive holiday over Easter – it was enjoyable but not out of this world. Weather was quite good for this time of the year. The views are breath taking. Very quiet which is what we wanted.
The beach had a lot of stones – I had to wear my trainers and you had to walk down a hill or stairs to get there which is quite steep. I walked to the town Nea Moudina which is about 10-15 minutes’ walk.
There are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants at the bay and you can see the harbour which was very nice indeed.
The hotel is situated about 45 minutes from the Thessaloniki airport taxi cost €50 with the tip each way.
This is not the Sofitel or Marriott but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Hairdryer was not very good glad I took my own. Mini bar only had water, white wine and Orange juice. Occasionally they put out a bottle of red wine. The rest you had to drink at the Blue Bar.
There was coffee and tea making facilities in the room. There is a DVD player in the room so take your own DVDs as the ones in the hotel are old and cost €3. Not much in the way of TV channels occasionally we found movies in English with Greek subtitles
The grounds were well kept. Very hilly. Lots of stairs so if you are in a wheelchair make sure you let them know well in advance. The toilets at the hotel was situated on the 5th and 4th and Spa floor so bit of an inconvenience when you had to leave the bar on the 6th Floor to go down to the 5th floor to the toilet. The lifts are extremely slow.
We ate at the buffet restaurant Thalassa the food was of good quality at times and edible even me being vegetarian found something to eat but around the 6th day we were all fed up at Thalassa.
My husband enjoyed the lamb on spit they did on Easter Sunday. Didn’t bother going to the other 2 restaurants as we had a look at the menus and it didn’t appeal to us.
Very generous, not many international brands the wines served at meal times were drinkable.
The staff were very friendly but foreign – not many Greeks.
The gym was very hot. Has the usual indoor pool Spa treatments were the same price as London so I decided to get mine done when I came back from holiday. There are shower facilities at the Spa.
Can’t comment on Mini club as we don’t have kids but we did notice a lot of kids around.
It was a lovely break more a 4 star hotel than 5 but this is just my opinion. I won’t go back there again as there are so many other places in the world to visit with a sandy beach!

I went there with my family and our friends families to relax and have a good time at New Year's Holidays 2007 provided there was an almost all day kid's watch.
Kid's watch (mini-club) turned out to be from 15.00 to 17.00 only. We couldn't enjoy the facilities like gym, swimming pool because kids were not allowed there (only 1 hour a day).
After complaints to the director, we managed to get an extra 2 hour mini club from 10.30 to 12.30. Thank God!
The mini bars were practically empty. One bottle of wine, one bottle of orange juice and one bottle of water.
Room service? We asked for extra sugar in the room at 9.00 and they brought it at 13.20.
There were no snacks between meals as they said. The cinema was out of order.
The Asian restaurant was closed. When we asked to book a table they told us that it was full. At night we realized it was closed. Funny. They thought that we wouldn't notice?
The Italian was open but they said that all tables were reserved. Funny, whenever we mentioned that we were All Inclusive, everything was booked.
The variety of food was poor but the quality was OK. There were no kid menus, as they had said.
Poor advantages for an all inclusive hotel!
The facilities were good but they tried to cut down the cost in any way they could. However they did not cut down the price as well!
I would definitely would not go back, not because I didn't enjoy my stay (which was nice because of our friends) but because of the inconsistency.

My wife, myself and two boys stayed here.
Its a great hote, the food is superb.
The staff cant do enough for you.
The rooms are a generous size, clean and ours (deluxe suite) has access to the private pool and wonderful views over the sea and mount olympus.
Theres lots to do for the kids too, a great club for them.
I'd highly recommend this hotel to all kinds of travellers. We booked ours via www.saniholidays.com, they are very helpful and told us everything about the hotel, getting there and lots of great tips.
