Aqua Fantasy Resort Hotel

Me and my partner went to Aqua Fantasy in July. It was fantastic. The hotel and entertainment were by far the best I have had on a package holiday. The staff were lovely. The only complaint I would have is with the tour operators. In the 2 weeks I was there I only saw our rep once.
The food was ok could always find something to eat no matter what your taste is. Our room was really nice and frequently had the maids making us swans from towels which was lovely.
There is not a negative thing that I can say about Aqua Fantasy I have recommended it to family and will certainly be going back with the family.
Before we went I read a couple of negative reviews but they are not to be taken notice of. There is day time entertainment and the night shows are amazing. A couple I spoke to did say though that if you put your kids in the clubs it does cost a little every now and again as they take them to farms etc.
The main thing I disliked was the 2 hour coach ride to the hotel but the bus driver did say they are starting flying to a closer hotel so it will take half the time.
I hope you do decide to go to this hotel I can guarantee you will have a great time.

This holiday was fantastic. I went last year and am ready to book yet again to go to this hotel, it was amazing.
The food was great with so much selection and new food everyday, the breakfast was the best, I was addicted to their pancakes!!
The pools were great a little cold but lots of choice and the bars at night are very lively. I enjoyed it so much I think I've found my regular hotel!

This was the best holiday ever! Some people are saying it stunk, the barmen were rude, the food was repetitive and the beach was disgusting, well I don't agree with any of that, it was absolutely fantastic!
The barmen were veryyyy good looking and the waiters were also! The food was so great you had so much choice!
The staff there were very nice and the cleaners were polite! they gave a quiet knock and said cleaners, if you never answered after around 2minutes, and there was no sign on your door they would come in and do a very god job. They always done fancy things in your room as well like scatter rose petals or do something pretty with your nightwear/bedsheets.
The shows at night were great! and the quizzes were so funny! so were the comedy sketches! and although they never started until 11pm there was always other things on in the same place so it was no problem at all!
I think this holiday/resort is unbeatable! Its so much fun and great for all different ages! Going back on the 12th October 08 this year leaving from Glasgow!

This holiday is not the best I have been on.
The hygiene was good and it was very clean. The maids were excellent and they left really nice stuff on ours beds and left our towels as a random shape every day!
It was a letdown that it rained for the first 4 days! We had nothing really to do except go in the indoor swimming pool as all their darts were broken! And the ping pong table was constantly taken up!!!
The food was ok there was some English food, but not much for us kids. The beach was good except from one end of the beach was covered in seaweed stuff.
As for inside the hotel in our hotel room they put chocolate, drinks, water inside our fridge to tease us to eat/ drink it so then they could charge us for it!
Therefore there was not any room to put our water that we had brought over in our fridge.
Then they came to check it every day and said we had taken stuff out of it and tried to charge us for it when the maids had took it out!
The town was brill and I really enjoyed it. There was many trips that we went on that was good and they were enjoyable and let us have a lot of leeway to look around.
The hotel service was ok-ish. They were a bit slow!!
The waterpark was cool and I just wished I would have gone down the white slide!!
Overall the holiday was fun...
I would have rather of gone for a week though rather than 2 weeks.

This hotel must be lovely in the sun but they just could not cope with 3 & 1/2 days of rain which was the beginning of our holiday. We took 5 teenagers with us so it was hard to keep them entertained as when it rains they shut the waterpark!!! Heath and Safety!!! I understand why it was shut during the thunderstorm but the whole point of a waterpark is you get wet.
As for the hotel the food was varied and we all found something we liked even if it was just chips for every meal. Some of us were ill for one night and spent the next day eating carefully having eaten the chicken the night before.
The entertainment was ok and we did enjoy the club dance. I would recommend this hotel but be prepared that they have very little organised if it rains. The bar staff are grumpy especially the outside bars but the staff in the restaurants were ok, we always sat at the far end of the restaurant and a couple of the guys were chatty.
I agree with the comments before, the on site shop is a rip off. We used a taxi as there were 7 of us to go into the local town, the market was a great experience. This cost about 10 lira each way. It is cheaper by bus but not if more than 2 of you. The shops near the market were value for money.
I would recommend this holiday if you like to stay on site but suggest you don't go at the end of the season; the weather is too unpredictable. Also we only got 6 days there as did not arrive until 6pm (leaving Exeter at 10:30am), it was a four hour flight followed by a two hour coach journey. We were shattered. Coming back was even worse as the clocks went back, we were told by the on site rep that they would collect us at 2 o'clock on Sunday morning which is 3 o'clock allowing for the clocks going back, but they were wrong. My partner had popped down to double check and found people waiting as they did realise the clocks had changed. He then had to rush up to collect us, they then had to ring around rooms waking guests to come quickly as the coach was waiting. All said the same ' the rep had told them the wrong time!!!!' The airport was even worse 5 cokes and 2 teas 70 lira (£28).
I would not visit this hotel again but I am sure that in the sun it would be good fun.

We have just returned from a late two week break and found this place to be excellent. The waterpark was good and the food of a high standard with the number of people staying. The beach was not far from us and neither was one of the many pools.
The hotel was clean and tidy and all worked hard. There were snack bars and two restaurants of which Oasis we preferred. The entertainment team worked hard and apart from a few grumpy bar staff all the staff were polite and helpful.
The facilities for travelling to town were bus or taxi which were both cheap and easy to find/use.
Would advise to cost compare trips from first choice to the local agents as we saved £300 on three trips for the eight of us and all were excellent.
Would recommend possibly going more towards September than to October as did rain for 4 days but being british this did not stop us. Ask the bar staff for cocktails which are free and lovely.
I would return here and use this hotel/resort again when I have done some more travelling and hope that it keeps the excellent condition and brilliant service it has.

My opinion is that if you are used to a 4 * hotel then this will be a huge disappointment. The staff are overtired and overworked which makes them surly to say the least! The food is luke warm and repetitive. The drinks come in small glasses thrown at you with a grunt, the 11pm deadline for all inclusive drinks can be 10.30 and if you wish to get drinks for your group then forget it. 1 DRINK ONE PERSON. I will compliment the childrens club, they are great. The resort is fairly clean and that is the only good thing I can say of this place.

We had a GREAT TIME!!! 11 of us went to Aqua Fantasy for 7 nights and all had Good Fun.
No problems with upset tummies. Food was good and not repetitive. Lots of choice every meal time. Staff were very hard working and always polite to us.
The pools and Aqua Park were fantastic but a bit cold. Bearing in mind we went in October this was only to be expected. The weather was fantastic for us.
Got taxi's in to Kusadasi and the price was reasonable, only 20 Lira each way, and the taxi's take 7 people. The Shopping was good but repetitive, all the shops have the same goods.
Eddie down at the beach was nice. We did all the water sports on offer and he gave us " A Good Price"!! The beach is not as bad as people say, I actually thought it was nice and clean.
The only down side to our holiday was the travelling. The flight times were a pain. We also had to vacate our rooms at 12 noon on the 21st even though our departure date wasn't until the 22nd. That of course is no reflection on the resort, this was down to First Choice. One thing to watch out for though is the First Choice Reps will tell you that you can book a late check out on your room of 6.00pm but the hotel will not allow you to do this until the night before your departure and they can not guarantee your room is going to be available. Imagine 11 of us and only 1 room being available for us to all get showered and changed in before we had to check out (we had paid for 4).
All in though it was a good holiday. We would go back but not for a few years. There are other parts of the world to see first!!

Flew back to Glasgow yesterday early hours of the morning from Bodrum, was living at Aqua Fantasy for 2 weeks! Anyone else who was there from the 7th october to the 21st get back to me please! Hotel was ok but not enough night life or entertainment! All inclusive wasn't the best as it finished at 11pm and started at 11am, lol, owel get back to me.

This was my first visit to Turkey and it was well worth it. We had a fab time my girls made loads of friends.
The hotel and water park were great . Variety of meals. Everything you wanted was catered for.
Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. And would go back next year.
