WORST HOTEL EVER STAYED IN

Went to this hotel for Sept.,weekend 2011 in one word AWFUL rooms basic food terrible ate out for breakfast and meals. A bit of advice for people doing a cruise from palma thomsons use this hotel.

Thank you Hotel Agua Beach for your friendly and helpful staff and ensuring our holiday was so relaxing and enjoyable. We first came in 2009 and enjoyed it so much we came back again this Aug/Sept 2010. The location to the beach and all local facilities are excellent. Wonderful holiday!

Have just come back from spending a week at this Hotel, the room was reasonably clean, but could do with having a deep clean (public areas as well), as the front and back of the bathroom door had dirty marks and other dirty marks on the walls. Location couldn't be faulted.... more

After just returning from a fabulous holiday staying at the Hotel Agua Beach with 8 of my friends (all 17/18 years old) I can’t believe some of the reports posted on here, and feel people haven’t got anything better to do on their HOLIDAY than rip the reputation of the hotel to shreds. Okay there are a few points to be made e.g. there were a lot of over 50s however that wasn’t a problem. They do their own thing and go to the old fashioned entertainment in the very large bar, whereas the families can go to the strip... more

Just got back from a week at the Agua Beach (June 2007). The Aqua Beach was our Cruise and Stay hotel for the second week of our holiday after cruising the Med. Cleanliness in the whole hotel leave’s a lot to be sorted out, on arrival there was cigarette ash all up the stair carpet and a tooth pick on the edge of one of the stairs, on leaving a week later the toothpick was still there, and the cigarette ash had grown. After reading the mixed reviews on this hotel, we were a little apprehensive. However, after settling in on the 4th floor with a sea view balcony, 'things' were looking promising - and we weren't disappointed. The room was basic, but clean, and visited everyday by a chambermaid, even returning late morning after we'd left, following 'lie-ins'!!! No tea/coffee making equipment, but we hired a kettle from reception, the porter provided cups, and the restaurant the necessary ingredients! Me and a couple friends stayed in Aqua Beach Hotel and were thouroughly disappointed with the treatment we recieved. The Manager looked at us and saw 3 young men who won't really care where they sleep. He took us up to the 6th floor, the lift however only went up to the 5th so we had to use the stairs provided for the cleaners. Our room jus had space for 3 beds, there was no balcony only the rooftop. I think, the best thing about the holiday was the nighttime as we weren't in the room!

Hotel is rated as 3 star, the only way it deserves this is by the view and that we put down to God.Should have it star rating removed. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be sorted out, on arrival there was a small piece of paper behind the bathroom door, on leaving it was still there, seems if you can't see it it doesn't get cleaned. Arrived Tuesday from cruise only to find my accommodation had been cancelled?? and it just went downhill from there lounge area furniture grubby and dirty. Carpets in reception threadbare and dirty reception staff not at all friendly first choice rep out of her depth. Lovely and clean, great for the beach from Caldicot
We stayed at this hotel as part of a two week stay and cruise holiday beginning 12th August 2006 with our two teenage daughters. The hotel is very clean and we had a suite in the new part which was great. We had two bedrooms, a bathroom, a small kitchenette and two balconies off of the bedrooms overlooking the front of the hotel. The public areas in the hotel are all air conditioned, as are all rooms actually, but could do with a little modernising. This hotel is definatley not a 3 star as quoted by First Choice. The rooms were basic, food was o.k and the staff were pleasent enough. When we arrived we had no towels which i had to request twice before somebody did anything about it. I did like the fact it was so close to the BEACH. The pool was very small but adequate enough for a cool down during sunbathing sessions! I would recommend this hotel for a last minute bargain but wouldn't pay full price for it.

Just got back from a week at the Agua Beach (Aug 2006). The location of the hotel really depends on what you're looking for. It is basically in the middle of Little Britain abroad and miles away from anything authentically spanish. Even the food and sangria have been changed to suit the British taste buds. I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, the food was bland, -chicken, pork, fish - Mon-Sun, breakfast, forget it! Swimming pool just big enough for two lilos, not very clean either. Entertainment was Karaoke ,Guitar player and some sixties singer, fine, for the first couple of nights, but not everynight with no variation of content, (oh, two nights no entertainment at all!)There isn't any daytime entertainment for the kiddies.
