Apartments a good way off Main Street. Reception at Acuario Sol 1 which was 500m from Sol 2 up a bit of a hill. Receptionist did not make any attempt to direct us to our apartments.
We had to take our bags ourselves and then drag them up 20 steps to second floor. No help given to do this. We are 60+ yrs. old. They expected us to HIRE a kettle toaster, remote control for TV, and microwave. What a rip off.
We had a change of towels once in the whole week we were there and no change of bedclothes. The maids came twice in the week. It’s just as well we were clean, neat and tidy!!
The courtesy room was a shower cubicle with no hot water. The suitcases had to be taken by us to Sol 1 and down a set of steps and back up again when it was time to go for the bus.
However, the rooms were adequate, the poolside was clean and the staff were friendly.
Entertainment nonexistent except for a parrot show lasting 10 mins one night.
