Camposol hotel is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed. There is a direct bus from the airport to a bus stop in front of the hotel. The hotel is situated in a very good place with resturants and bars are all around , the beach is a five minutes walk. The rooms are very very very clean with daily cleaning, the food is superb and variety of them and all buffet. We always looked forward to dinner time to see whats up. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the pool is clean and always empty for one to have a private time in swimming. This hotel is supposed to be rated a four star hotel. I must repeat another visit. This hotel is very cheap.

we stayed at the Camposol hotel from the 9th to 16th of August, the hotel was clean, but that was the only good thing about it, the staff were not very nice at all, the manager was the worse person i have ever met in my life, and made some really bad comments of a personal nature. i would say one thing they lookafter their own i.e. the Spainish and the British did not get a look in, what ever you do don't make the mistake we did, because going to this hotel could put you off Spain for life and i know there are nice places in Spain, but the CAMPOSOL IS NOT ONE OF THEM !!!!! So Brits don't go there, find a Hotel that likes the British, i hope you all listen to this then you'll not have the week we have had, it made me feel like not ever going back to Spain, but i will because my mum abd dad live there, but i would not stay in the Camposol if you paid me. i hope iv go my message over.

we stayed here in the 1960s it was excellent at this time so was benidorm. the hotel was family run . the food was spanish there was no entertainment but the pool and bar was good fun we have never been back to benidorm but the hotel looks the same as it was in the 1960s. it was only a short walk to the sandy beaches and shops. the entertainment at that time was the granada an open air night club with flemenco dancers and los paraquayus band . if was to come back to benidorm i would certainly come back to thi s hotel

We love benidorm and have been here before and stayed in a 2* , however, I wouldn't go back here if it was for free!
What a disapointment....What a dump......
As me and my fiance sat on the transfer bus driving through the old town of benidorm down a dark and dingy street, i said to him " i hope we arn't staying round here!", the bus pulled up, "Camposol" the driver shouted, oh no i thought to myself, first impressions wern't good, i thought it might be nice inside as we booked it thinking we were staying in a 3*, how very wrong could i be. When we entered our room i looked in horror, it was a cupboard, very pokey and no space to put 2 large suitcases. The bathroom was very small and the shower curtain looked like it had been there a 100yrs! lol.
The first night, when we were very tired after no sleep from travelling the night before, i couldn't sleep, the noise from the other rooms kept me awake for hours, you could here the people turning over in bed, flushing the loo (which sounded like a bomb had gone off!) and them snoring!
Swimming in the pool was out of the itinery, in was constantly in the shade, no sunloungers and i didn't once see anyone in or around the pool.
As for the food, breakfast was bearable, but tea consisted everyday of lettuice, cucumber, tomato, pickled carrot, 1 fish( complete with eyes!), 1 meat (on occassion looked like a tray of bones), scabby veg and chips.
The only reason i have given this hotel 2/10 is for the cleanliness, the cleaner came in everyday to change the towels and make the bed.
All in all avoid this hotel at all costs no matter how cheap!

We arrived at camposol hotel and first impressions weren't too bad. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Freedom direct advertised this hotel as 3 star but it's only 2 star so we were disappointed there.
When we got to our room we also noticed that the room facilities advertised were also not correct. The room was very basic with very little features at all.
When we went down to breakfast in the morning we were offered toast and bacon etc...
We were horrified that when we went to get some bread, there was, with gods honest truth an inch of mould through the bread.
Very disappointed with Freedom Direct and Camposol Hotel. Will definately not return and would advise against visiting. Even for a budget hotel, this was unacceptable to anyones standards.

This has to be the WORST HOTEL in benidorm
rooms were clean but the bed spread and curtains had holes in them
smell of sewerage in room and corridors. and a smell of burning in room
the food was always COLD very limited choice 1 meat 1 fish salad. frozen veg.
staff not helpfull .walls paperthin could here everything going on in next room.
spainish guests very rude they push in queues shove you out of the way slam doors in your face . they obviously didnt want the british there and made that quite clear.
the photo of hotel on different web sites is not the way the hotel looks the photo must have been taken about 30yrs ago the hotel is right opposite a multi story car park.
i will never ever go to this hotel again nor would i recommend it not even to my worst enemy.go here at your peril.

The hotel was a 2* but rated much higher in the cleanliness and comfort. The only thing that let it down was the food at the evening meals which was very repetetive and did not cater for vegetarians. However, there was always plenty of fresh fruit and salad - and considering we only paid an extra £1 a night to go half board then we weren't too bothered. Breakfasts were fine with bacon, fried eggs and all the usual cold meat, cheese, rolls, cereal etc and fresh fruit. The hotel was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in and our room, while it did not have any luxuries (no fridge or toiletries) it was spotless, very comfortable and had a fully functioning air conditioning/heating unit. We also had 2 balconies as our room was on a corner - one of which caught the sun so we were able to sit out on it, even in February. The staff on reception weren't the cheeriest bunch we have seen - but they were always courteous and helpful. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices in the bar were pretty reasonable too. All in all, if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful, bang in the centre of the old town (but quiet at night!!) then this is the place - we are planning on going back again next February

I know not to expect too much of accommodation in Benidorm as been here twice already, and most places are dated and needing upgraded.
But the Camposol hotel was a birthday gift to my fiancé and I was more than embarrassed, it was basic and we ended up having to eat out all the time, hardly a gift.
Our room had one plug socket, two dim lights, you could hardly move in the bathroom and our sheets were never changed during our stay.
Please do not stay here unless you wish only a place to put your head down, and even then you'll struggle with the noise of the Spanish tourists.

We booked this holiday with holiday supermarket.com and booked both the flights and accommodation separately.
The Hotel Camposol was the cheapest accommodation we could find at the time of booking, we only wanted to go to benidorm for a long weekend, for a birthday.
The location was very central and we were very surprised with the quality of the hotel rooms and the pool area, as this hotel is only 2 stars. I would give it 3 stars for the location and cleanliness.
I would recommend this hotel to others as the location is very central, but far enough from the bars to get a good night’s sleep. I would also recommend the waterpark, which was great fun. And only 5 minutes away in a taxi, shuttle buses are available.
Benidorm beach and promenade area is beautiful, with plenty of restaurant and bars to relax, whilst watching the sun go down.
Benidorm is definitely a place to go for a long weekend break, I will be going back.

We've stayed in Camposol a few times. It's basic but very clean - everything changed daily. It's mainly used by Spanish people on Coach Tours but we are always made welcome.
The manager who is married to an Irish lady speaks perfect English and was most helpful at all times.
The Restaurant serves mainly Spanish food but a good choice. We discovered they only use spread or margarine so we take our own butter and leave it in the fridge.
The TV only has Spanish channels. Hey! It is Spain - I didn't go to watch TV anyway
If a Coachload of Spanish visitors arrived here in Wales I'm sure they'd have a job finding a Spanish Channel on our TV! (We're lucky to get Channel 5!)
It is a pleasant stroll to the beach and only a 5 - 10 minute walk to the Station. There are also plenty of buses to other parts of Costa Blanca for just a few cents. I recommend a train ride into Altea or Denia - just don't look out of the window if you don't like heights!
For about £10.00 - £15.00 per night it is very good value and the only noise we heard was laughter - you know, people enjoying themselves.
We'll certainly go back anytime.

Me my husband and sister and brother in law booked this for my sisters 40th birthday. The hotel is very basic, but spotlessly clean, the food is basic eggs bacon lots of buns and biscuits tea coffee etc.
The hotel is close to the beautiful beach shops bars and restaurants. The hotel pool is really nice but is in the shade most of the day! You get what you pay for and at £11 per night its definitely worth it, needless to say we’ve booked again for this year!

What can I say? We arrived to be given to keys to a cupboard, it was an internal room with a window looking out onto an internal tunnel (for want of a better word), it smelled fusty! And had two camp beds in it, there was no plug in the bedroom, has to use plug in the bathroom - you had to practically stand in the bath to open the door to get out.
Despite the smell the rooms were clean, but basic is not the word it felt like a prison cell had we been staying for longer than 3 nights would have checked out straight away. It was full of Spanish pensioners and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired (they never look very happy considering they are on holiday!) - Bar staff and maids we friendly enough - however reception staff were awful.
The highlight of the hotel for us was watching a young British lad repeatedly jump in the pool and drown a couple of old Spanish dragons with water, it was fab, did consider joining him.

Booked for our family of 2 adults plus 1 child and a friend of hers, only booked for 3 nights as a treat for the kids. For the first day and night we had a great time, the kids even went in the cold pool - it was fine.
The food was lovely in the evening, breakfast was cake etc, but that was good too and the staff very friendly on the whole, especially the guy in the restaurant, he made a fuss of everyone. On the 2nd night we got surrounded by Spanish youths (having lived in Spain for 5 years we are used to them).
They were out of control, they were given a room each side of us and above, we had furniture being moved about, singing, shouting, fighting(play) all night as well as the shouting from the balcony to passers by. We decided that after a sleepless night we wouldn’t bother sleeping the next so gave the keys in at reception and told them why, the guy just shrugged his shoulders!
It was a very clean Hotel, had we have only stayed the one night I would be giving it a 10/10, but the attitude to our problem knocks it down. Shame because it was lovely until then. Very centrally located, although not a lot to do for the children in the hotel.
