I stayed with my wife for 7 days. The hotel was clean. We found that even though the weather was a bit cold the hotel and our room was always warm. The food was reasonable but I feel would have been too much for a 2 week stay. There was a bus that took you into Benidorm... more

What a bargain break...£199 full board including flights (BMIbaby) for a 3 night/4 day break over the Xmas period. The weather was nice spring style. The hotel food was a bit predictable....chips with everything even breakfast, not too well prepared either, but overall OK... more

Travelled for a short break in between Xmas and the New Year. Weather like a warm spring day. The hotel is at the far end of Benidorm, so for night life, a bus had to caught (number 5) costing 1 Euro. Return by taxi cost 5 Euros, but well worth both costs. The food is... more

Just popped in for 3 days while in Cala at BB RATE. Lovely atmosphere and clean should be a 4 star hotel. Breakfast presentation was excellent. Would recommend to anyone. Has all facilities and a comfortable feeling. Not generally found in most hotels. Good luck. I will be with you again shortly. Adios

Visited here on 20th jan.on a late deal just for a week. Great hotel very informal ,friendly, spotlessly clean.....just cannot fault it. the location has to be your own choice though,it is at the very very end of Poniente,the farthest you can go .May not suit anyone looking for nightlife.It is very quiet and so much more cleaner than the levante side and not commercialised at all.The beach is lovely..The hotel is on rather a "steep" slope but we managed it !! 5minutes from the hotel is a good bus sevice which takes you a good run into... more

Stayed in October 2004. On arrival felt it was perhaps a little 'older' looking (although perhaps fairly typical of 60/70's Benidorm hotels). The central staircase in particular would benefit from being modernised with all those hefty bolts being replaced in the panels. After a couple of days of relaxation we however really began to warm to the place. The food was reliable, with lots of good main courses (perhaps more limited sweets). The room was comfortable and clean. There was a very relaxing pool area with lots of shade if desired.... more

Have just returned after a week at the Hotel Torre Dorada. We enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, it was spotlessly clean and we were made to feel very welcome. I have to disagree with a review made by one gentlemen about the food. We had a buffet meal each meal time with as much as you wanted, there was something there to suit everyone, continental as well as egg and bacon for breakfast, juices and hot drinks, lunch was hot and cold meals and evening meal the same with an added theme night. We have been to the Torre Dorada for the last 4 years we will not go any where else in Benidorm, we have made some great friends there over the years.The hotel is lovely and clean,the food is great, if you which to go out for the day you can order a pack lunch the night before, all the staff are very pleasant and the entertaiment is good, there is a childrens play ground at the back of the pool area.The hotel is on a steep hill but you do get use to it. We are going again this year, can't wait. more

My husband and I spent 7 days at Torre Dorada....7/2/04 to 14/2/04. It was wonderful!! Nothing about the hotel could be faulted. Lovely staff, spotlessly clean, great food and a brilliant atmosphere. We are far and widely travelled and would go back to Torre Dorada before any other hotel we have used. This was our first visit to Benidorm but certainly not the last. But only in this hotel and this resort! The journeys to and from the airport were terrible, so I would advise no-one to use Airtours or any travel company attached to them. Take a... more

We have just returned from a week at the torre dorada, and after many holidays in this resort at many different hotels would like to say, the hotel itself is lovely and the staff are excellent, especially the bar staff who are great fun, the only down side was the food,it was not all that good, the breakfast was the same every morning, and the evening meals were not up to much, but we ended up eating out a lot.compared to other hotels in benidorm this is as good as others, apart from the food which needs major improvement and a decent chef. more

Returned to England from our holiday at the Torre Dorada on 8th November and we would just like to say that it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in for the friendliness of the staff and the food was just unbeatable. If we ever return to Benidorm we will certainly be returning to the Torre Dorada. more

we were there last week in august ,the weather was just nice round about the eighties,the food was good and the service was excelent the staff were very friendly and the manager ,(manuel) one of the best ,a great guy we will return..if you were in the going away photo on 3/9/03 let me know more

We returned from the Torre Dorada early in April after a fantastic time. The Hotel is very clean, the food was brilliant, the staff were very friendly. This was our first holiday in Benidorm and it won't be our last, but I'll insist on staying here again. The only down side was the pool was unheated and very cold, but in peak season it might not be so bad. It was a bit of a hike to walk into Benidorm Old town but there is a regular bus service at the end of the road and taxi's are very cheap. more
