Hotel Torre Dorada

I stayed with my wife for 7 days. The hotel was clean. We found that even though the weather was a bit cold the hotel and our room was always warm. The food was reasonable but I feel would have been too much for a 2 week stay. There was a bus that took you into Benidorm this cost 1 euro.
The slight hill to the hotel was not to bad but could prove a bit of a struggle for anyone disabled.
The entertainment of a evening was a bit poor could have been better.

What a bargain break...£199 full board including flights (BMIbaby) for a 3 night/4 day break over the Xmas period. The weather was nice spring style.
The hotel food was a bit predictable....chips with everything even breakfast, not too well prepared either, but overall OK for hotel food.
Service was really good. even had a "picnic" box for return home.
A bit out of the way for nightlife, easy to travel to it though, with the bus (number 5) close and only costing 1 euro. Taxi back was 5 euros.
Transfer from airport by resorthopper.com and this cost 60 Euros return (£41).

Travelled for a short break in between Xmas and the New Year.
Weather like a warm spring day.
The hotel is at the far end of Benidorm, so for night life, a bus had to caught (number 5) costing 1 Euro. Return by taxi cost 5 Euros, but well worth both costs.
The food is typical hotel fare.....chips with EVERYTHING even at one of our breakfasts. They were the cardboard type too.
The reception service was of a good standard, and virtually all the staff spoke excellent English.
The hill to the hotel looked a bit daunting at fist sight, but it wasn't too bad.
Travellers....Myself and my wife (57 and 56).
Shall do Benidorm again next year, but may try another hotel.
