All inclusive!!!! what a rip off

Stayed here for 10 nights at beginning of November. The hotel was very clean and food ok. Apart from that not a lot else going for it. Caters 100% for the spanish and although I have nothing against pensioners, the spanish one's are the most ignorant selfish people on this planet. They wold just push anyone out of the way to get into the lifts and get to the front of the queue for food. Also beware DO NOT book all inclusive. Their version is crap beer, Red wine & almost alcohol free sangria and these only available at mealtimes. Only a handful of english people there when we were and all complained about the all inc deal. Saying that, all entertainment was in spanish anyway so wouldn't have lingered long after meals.

Spanish hot hell

A lovely hotel if you are spanish. The only thing good I can say is that it was very clean.
In 7 days we found no hotel staff who could speak english, and there was only about 6 other english staying at the hotel.
The resturant was far to hot, around 30% and the food was only just warm, two couples came down with food poisoning on there first day, and apart from breakfast we ate out every night.
I will be complaning about this hotel being offered on the internet as a place for english to stay

This hotel is very clean, and the food was excellent, something for everyone. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day.
However not for the english there was only a handful of other british there, it was all spanish, all entertainment was for the spanish too, and the other guest were not very friendly to the british either.
It was at least a 20 minute walk to the beach, and the pool is across the road and in the shade all day.
It is 3/4 hour walk to new town or 9 Euro taxi. All british travel agents should read reviews before putting forward hotels for this area of Benidorm. How ever we did not let it spoil our holiday.

Food, too much fish on menu not varied enough. Accommodation not bad. But too far away from main town.
Room cleaned every day hotel swimming pool clean and tidy.
Overall hotel good, but the menu had too much fish, which we didn’t like.

Have just returned from a two week...
1 / 10
Aug 2007, Mr P Murray

Have just returned from a two week stay in this hotel!! This hotel should not be used for English visitors as it neither caters for them food wise nor entertainment wise. Everything is in Spanish - no good if you only have holiday Spanish of yes and no! The check in was a farce as none of the staff spoke English or if they did they kept it a secret.

The cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted. However, that is the only plus point. A buffet was provided for meals but was mainly inedible. Human hair on the eggs at breakfast and a bug in the salad is not what we had paid for. Better than going to a slimming club as I lost 7lbs!!
The entertainment was all in Spanish. The swimming pool was scarily deep for children and the crane carrying bricks etc flying over it did not help!! At one point the pool had the debris from the crane floating in it.
As for the other residents in the hotel, I have never come across such rude and arrogant people. There were only 3 English couples in the hotel. We were subjected to being pointed at and spoken about quite openly. Pushed out of the way at the bar etc and God help you if you tried to explain to them that you were there first!!
A game of pool, the only non Spanish entertainment available for my son, was marred by the Spanish children lifting or touching the balls as their parents watched from the sidelines!! I know what I wanted to do with my pool cue.
I would go back to Benidorm but as far away from this hotel as possible.

This Hotel is only for Spanish...
1 / 10
Jul 2006, Miss P Davidson

This Hotel is only for Spanish people. The food reflects this. Pigs trotters on the menu? Not for me. We ate out most of the time. Food is cold and mostly inedible. Rooms are a nice size if there are only 2 of you but as there were 4 of us it was pretty cramped. The pool area is also small and the pool is the same depth all the way round (you cannot touch the bottom) and even the kids pool is waist height on me (I am 5'2").
The Hotel was full of Spanish people and this would not be a problem if they had a small amount of manners but they didn't.
The 5 mins walk to the beach must be if you are Kelly Holmes and the walk back is even worse as it is uphill. It is too far to walk into the resort centre on an evening and taxis are a must, proving costly.
I love Benidorm and will most definitely be going back, just not to this Hotel, ever!
