Home 7 weeks from magic crystal park all inclusive, loved it so much wanted to go back, booked out, so took rosaire, big mistake!! says all inclusive,not.. Tavern closed, only bar open' outside one, free drinks stop 11.00 not 12.00...20mins in no air con waiting for 2 drinks, lifts broke down often, trapped for 40mins in deadly heat, staff then complained to us,snack bar closed some days at 5.00,because staff said he had finished, lots of spanish in this hostel, even they complained but they got what they wanted...suprise!!!balcony door had no lock, room small, safe not attached to wall, reported still waiting to be fixed.people who say cheap and cheerful have not been to proper all inclusive, well placed for beach and bars,is this a ploy to get people to leave,no drinks handed out!!! all inclusive is not free food and drink!!!you pay for it in your booking!!!!!same guy playing country and western every night, ready to cut wrists.no entertainment for kids day or night.air con very slow to cool room.sounds like sour grapes try it at your own expense!!!there are far far better hotels there, same money and cheaper, who want to try and please you.don't pay your money and settle for second or third class standards, this is not a 3 star hotel,as above more like a hostel

Having read the negative reviews above I have an urge to say that no wonder British tourists are perceived as very arrogant, stuck up, hard to please and condescending to people working in hotels in their own country and I find it ridiculous that these particular people continue to holiday abroad. I found this hotel basic, yes, but the staff were lovely, the food was delicious, the drink was free and we made every effort to soak up the culture and make friends with the staff and fellow guests. We found the location perfect as it was close to the beach, bars and shops. The restaurant was airy and well stocked and the food lovely with a variety of different selections, the snack bar was well stocked with friendly staff and the main bar had different entertainment on each night with the guests all joining in and appearing to enjoy themselves. The only negative I would say was that out of two elevators both were seldom working at the same time and having a room on the twelfth floor this was a glitch but after eating and drinking so much I could do with the exercise. The pool was on the small side and full of kids but the pool area was rather large and a dip between sunbathing sessions was all that was necessary. I would recommend a stay there anyday for someone who wants to be close to everything but I suggest leaving the negative attitudes at home and make the most of the new experiences you have abroad.

I came back from a lovely holiday 2 weeks ago to the Rosaire. When I came on to this website, I was so scared to visit the hotel. How wrong everybody is!!!! The Rosaire is great! Everybody led us to believe it was dirty & unhygienic, but couldn't belive my eyes when we got there! Aslong as you're not a clean freak you will be fine! The staff are polite & sociable. They always kept my children entertained ( a little cheesy, but they loved it). My 17 year old daughter had a great holiday too & she's very hard to please! The shops & the beach are 5 minutes walk away, people were overall very welcoming, food was also lovely aslong as you are not a very fussy eater! I hope this has helped put everybodies mind at rest, as I know how you feel! But I can assure you, you will have an excellent holiday at the Rosaire.

This was a lads holiday with 9 of us. Originally supposed to go to Kavos but the hotel got shut there and we transferred here in short notice. Very concerned about hotel before going out after reading poor reviews on this site amongst others.
However, when we arrived things weren't as I thought. We had a very friendly welcome at reception (and given a warning notice about making noise - obviously seeing potential for us to, as a group of lads, which they were right to). We arrived about 10am but told our rooms wouldn't be ready until 2pm so we locked our cases away in the room provided and went into town. This didn't bother us - gave us a chance to look around and have lunch.
The staff at the hotel were very good - bar staff always friendly happy to serve you. Those behind reception (whatever time of the day) were helpful and the restaurant staff were efficient.
Our first lunch wasn't bad - if you are expecting high quality food go elsewhere. If you're just looking for standard grub this is the right place. Some stuff didn't look too good but it most of it was hot and edible. However, food did become an issue as the days progressed. There was little variety and it was becoming boring. We did go out and eat a couple of nights but we found the food elsewhere to be not great either.
Rooms were fine for us - our air-conditioning didn't work but we told the receptionist who sent a person who fix it. A friend in another room had a broken bed which got changed quickly. Rooms have a safe which reasonably priced and there is a TV in each room (great for watching EURO2008) and the remote is €10 deposit although we managed to get it working without that. Bathroom is fine, we had no problems there. Rooms are generally clean, the maid does her best to tidy it every morning.
The only other thing about the rooms is the doors. We found that 2/3 of the rooms had a broken latch which meant that it would slam shut if left open. This would also be the case if you left the balcony door or window open (but these two are easy to stop with the curtain).
The hotel facilities are average - the pool is perhaps too small considering the number of people there. However, there are always sunbeds around the pool to lie on.
The all inclusive package was ideal for us. During the day we could get snacks and drinks from the poolside bar and at night we went down to The Tavern which served alcohol till 11pm. Afterwards drink cost (at a reduced price, and at 11.30 its happy hour). The all inclusive drinks were lager, wine, vodka, rum, whisky, brandy and soft drinks. It is noticeable that they are watered down slightly but staff will put plenty of spirit into your drink so you can actually taste whatever is in it. Most importantly its much better than going out to clubs or bars and paying for drinks.
Overall a very clean hotel with a nice atmosphere. It had all the basics for what we needed - 3 stars is what it is and 3 stars is was you get.

HI. THIS HOTEL WAS LIKE AN HOSTEL. IT WAS THE HOLIDAY FROM HELL. I HAD TO BE TRANSFER TO AN OTHET HOTEL WHERE IT WAS UNBARABLE TO SLEEP IN. THE SWIMMING POOL WAS ABOUSTLY DISCUSTING AND WAS FULL WITH FLIES. THE BEDROOM WAS VERY OLD FASHION WITH BASIC EXTRA'S. THE WAS NO LIGHT IN THE BATHROOM. IT WAS NOT CLEANED EVERY DAY. THERE WERE GLASSES AND BED SHEET LEFT EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS ALSO HAIR IN THE BED WHERE THE HOTEL CLEANING DID NOT WASH THE BED SHEETS. THE RESTURAUNT WAS HORRIFING HAS THE HAMBURGERS WHERE PINK AND THE CHICKEN WAS NOT COOKED AT ALL. I COULD NOT EAT THE FOOD AS IT SMELT TERRBLIE. THE DRINK TASTED LIKE WATER AND I WASTED A LOAD OF MONEY ON A ONE OF THE MOST UGLYEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. I ALSO WENT ALL EXLIVSE AND IT WAS NO WORTH IT ONE LITTLE BIT. PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. IT WAS MY FIRST TO GOING TO ABORAD AND I WAS VERY DISSPIONTED WITH THE HOTEL STANDED. NO WAY IS THIS HOTEL A VERY STAR IT IS A ONE STAR HOTEL. I thought the hotel was really nice and the food was different everyday. I don't really understand why there were so many bad reviews as it was a cheap holiday, and at the end of the day, you're getting what you pay for. I thought the pool was very clean and fun despite the cold temperature of the water. The staff were very friendly, a few had difficulty understanding English but with the number of staff who did, it was easy for them to get the jist of what you were saying. The rooms were a reasonable size and the decor was pretty modern. We had a nice sea view balcony which was nice to relax on. As there were 5 of us, we needed 2 rooms. The rooms were positioned next door to each other so it was easy to go in and out of the rooms. The all-inclusive service was excellent - i had at least one hotdog everyday, unlimited number of drinks, and lollies etc..
All in all, this holiday was one of the best. My grandma even came and she's 83 - loved it.
If you fancy a nice, cheap holiday then this is the place to get the most out of your money.

Rooms were very basic, only thing I can say the toilets were clean, air conditioning very noisy and the food was below standard. Room smelt of smoke I can only think that because I was at the front of the hotel and the air conditioning for the bars below was under my window.

We stayed at the Rosaire in September for 2 weeks, it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
It was dirty, the food was disgusting and the rooms were to small. The swimming pool was freezing and in the shade, and its not a 3 star like it stated in our brochure.
This hotel isn't very child friendly so be warned, avoid at all costs the location is brilliant but that's about it.
