Just got back from a 5 day break.Hotel was clean and friendly.Breakfast catered for all types.Mixture of English and Spainish. If you are a light sleeper then ask for a pool side room as the Red dog Bar goes on until about 5-6am.Overall good value for money and should... more

just got back from a 1 week stay (6-13 nov 2010),couldnt have asked for better,great location,very friendly and helpful staff,food good,plenty,and well presented,rooms and hotel very clean and tidy,i think this hotel deserves a higher rating.(beanbag.nottingham)

Room was spotless, bed linen changed every day aswel as towels. Quiet around the pool and plenty of sunloungers for everyone. All staff lovely. Bed and breakfast was basic but was nice. Hotel central and only a minute away from beach, restaurants, bars. Quiet and not a very good nightlife anymore, most bars were empty.

just came back from staying in the la perla what a great hotel bang centre in the middle of benidorm, goin back nxt year the staff ar great & friendly carlos in the bar upstairs is brill, if you dont like noise then ask for a pool view there's a lot of noise coming from the red bull but that did'nt bother us at all.

Very supprised to say the least. Stayed 20th Aug -26th Aug 06 We were given the holiday as a present - great eh? When we (Wifey & I) saw the location we were quite pleased, that it was smack in the middle of the life, but were a little concerned it may be noisey from the bars and clubs, our fears were unfounded as really it was quite quiet in the eveneings. We found the staff quite friendly - except the fizz faced oldie on reception. The room was clean and had a nice view of the pool, which again was clean and the centre point for quite a few people of varing nationalities. We didn't eat there except for breakfast which was typically spanishly cooked, bacon and eggs swimming in oil, DIY toast cold meat and cheese, beans, cereals cake, rolls, fruit so ok really. Lot of great bars/resturants selling food quite cheaply, so didn't have a meal. Did try to order a bagutte once in the afternoon as too damn lazy to go somewhere else, but there were only a selection of about 4 all containing cheese, these were brought in apparently - obviosly too tricky to make baguttes in the hotel!! Only slight problem was the noise - not, I hasten to add from the surrounding night life but the walls were quite thin (we could hear the couple next door wresting or something similar) and when a few middle aged english guests arrived in the afternoon they decided to bang the hell out of each others doors and shout to each other through the doors, never saw the room phones then!!! Soooo if your thinking of going, I would think this is a good choice we are 40 somethings and had a plesent stay. I have stayed in a lot worse 4 star hotels why it only has 2 stars is frankly beyond me. Cheers Putty

The hotel perla is without a doubt the best place to stay! With the gorgeous miguel on reception and the funniest person Juan-carlso in the top bar you are guarenteed a fantastic holiday here, I'm slightly biased as i lived across the road from the hotel and was dating miguel for nearly 6 months! but apart from that i have never heard any complaints about the hotel, only praise! With the red dog oposite and the square 2 minutes down the road you are far away enough if you dont enjoy the nightlife but close enough if u do!!

the perla was one of the best places ive been! the staff were really nice (especially miguel - got his number haha) Paco was a little mean at first... but we did get loads of complaints! then he just laughed with us!! its in the best location with the red dog opposit! look out for colin the PR, he will do anythin for a BJ haha! the pool is really lively, we took over with our dance songs so bring ur own tunes and ask them to TURN IT UP!!!!! this is by far one of the best holidays ive been on and would recomend it to anyone!

"Stay on the Poolside" unless you're very young and can put up with the traffic noise from the main road. I was on the main road for one night and the excellent staff immediately moved me when I complained about the noise of the traffic and happy people shouting and cussing until after 5am. The rooms are excellent and kept pristine every day, Once you're over looking the pool there's not much view but you at least get some sleep. Only fault I had was the breakfast, the bacon was terrible - greasy and it looked uncokked. all there was to choose from were eggs, hams and cheeses so I ended up having toast and marmalade. A great hotel in a great location, lovely staff, made us very welcome the hotel may be small and fairly basic but we could not have chosen better. It is ideal for a short break with a great pool and friendly service.

fantastic lively hotel set in the heart of benidorn. clean, friendly and good food. its a 2min walk from beach n square. its near loads of pubs n clubs. recomended for the lively.

I thought the hotel was in a perfect location for young people who wanted to go clubbing all the clubs, restaurantes and shops were just seconds away, and the beach was just a five minute walk. The hotel had basic but suffecient aminites. The staff were helpful and pleasent and the hotel standards of cleaness both around the hotel and in the rooms were brilliant and so was the secuirty i would recommened it
