The Estudios Benidorm Apartments are ideal if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful and are the type of person who wants to go out on the town eating, drinking, partying, etc and want somewhere to lay your head when you get home late, and don’t mind the cosmopolitan sounds of the streets below because you sure get the sounds of the streets,

firstly the inhabitants don’t know how to do any thing quietly regardless of time also the price you pay for clean streets is the bins get emptied every night at about 3am we even had a street cleaner hosing the streets down at 4am.

Bedding is changed mid break depending on how long your stay is we were only there for one week and had our towels changed by Thursday

The one thing that I would suggest you watch out for is the 60euros/40pound damage guarantee that you have to pay on arrival against amongst other things cigarette burns to sheets / bedding broken furniture, and even placing your bed mattress on the balcony ! as they did no check our apartment on arrival and we discovered a burn on one of our sheets

(But no problems on departure I must admit) and the staff were friendly when you could make yourself understood

All in all a good cheap and cheerful place taking all the above in to account.

Oh and local public transport is very good and cheap with a flat fare rate only 1€

I would not recommend these apartments to anybody, they were diabolical.



The patio window would not lock it come off its hinges. It was freezing cold, we lay in bed at nighttimes with towels round our feet and shoulders. The dishes and cutlery were disgusting you could not swing a cat in it.



We stopped one night and moved to other apartments the next day. Filthy dirty. DO NOT GO THERE.

These have to be the worst apartments I have ever stayed in. We booked as a DIY holiday and the pictures on the net made it look so good, but in reality it was clearly in need of some TLC and a complete makeover.



Our balcony door didn’t lock and it wasn’t even worth closing them really as it didn’t block out any of the noise from the busy street below so if you want to sleep, you won’t.



The beds weren’t changed at all and the towels once in our 7 day stay. The room was small but clean with the main wall a dark green which made it feel even smaller.



The kitchen was out of the sixties, quite literally and wore the battle scars of countless holidaymakers before us.



All in all if you want something cheap and you’re a group of guys or girls and just want somewhere to lay your head, then this is ideal.



If you’re not I would suggest somewhere else. These apartment have something to do with the Benidorm Plaza, which is just up the road and your more than welcome to use their facilities including the pool.



If they had a suggestion box when we popped in the Plaza, I would have suggested they spent some money on the Estudios as with a bit of investment, it would be a really good apartment block as the restaurants, cafes and the fact you can spit on the beach from where you are, do it more credit than it really deserves.
