I have just returned from spending a week in these apartments with my mother at 71, three 19 year old teenagers and a 7 month old baby and cant fault them - before I went I had read reports, some good some bad - access for wheelchairs and prams can be via the back entrance... more

Me and my family stayed at the avenida apts for 14 days, first day we got there they put us in the wrong room and 2 days into our holiday we was moved into a much bigger room which was very basic but clean. Then we found that the shop under our new room was been renovated... more

If you want somewhere centrally located with all amenities on your doorstep, then this is the place Fabulous value for money. Good quality matresses. Spacious, light and airy apartments. Helpful and friendly reception staff. However, the smell in the central corridor and some of the apartments is unbearable. This is obviously an ongoing problem with drainage or sewage and they are not able to put it right. The cleaners are well aware of the problem and the hotel must spend a fortune on bleach and disinfectant. I'm sure everyone... more

I stayed at the Avenida Appartments for 10 nights with my husband and 3 children aged 6, 4 and 6 months. We had a one bedroom appartment and chose the option of half board, dining at the four star hotel across the road. First impressions were the hotel did not look Posh as you might expect a four star hotel to look but all the staff were very friendly and appartments were clean and well presented. Stay hear all the time. Can be noisey during the high season and around 1am - 2am when the bin men are out but it is a good place to stay. The staff are very nice and the hotel over the road is very good to. Its only few yards from the beach and you have the shops all round you as its slap bang in the middle of benidorms old town. Stayed for 7 nights from 16 March 2007. Had to park some distance away and drag suitcases through the crowds. Reception and staff very friendly but we were disappointed by the location and layout of the apartment. The whole central area smelled of sewerage and this also drifted into the accomodation. Just returned after a five night stay. Four of which we had no sleep!! Although I have to say this was due to very inconsiderate english tourists.Nothing new there!The apartments themselves are very clean, reception staff more than helpful. Due to the design the bedroom windows open onto the corridor which is galleried over the five floors. Avenida Apartments are located literally in the centre of Benidorm, situated over the top of a block of shops. The apartments are kept clean and the reception staff are pleasant and helpful. Prices are low and the (one bedroomed) apartments are small and basic. The location of the apartments is fantastic, surrounded by bars and restaurants and close to the beach. The apartments themselves are clean and tidy but the smell of rotting rubbish in the whole complex is disgusting. Stayed at the Avenida Apartments from 28/6/05-12/7/05.
