Hi Don't listen a holiday is what you make it, some people you just can't please. Apartments were basic but what do you expect for what you pay! Beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom small but ideal for all you need for a short-stay, air con great really needed it as very hot hot! Clean towels every 2-3 days and clean sheets every 3-4 days, maids didn't clean apartments but it's self catering if you want someone to run hand n foot to you book a hotel. Reception staff were great very helpful, treat them the way you would like to be treated! We had a room on the 5th floor looking over to Hotel Avenida no noise once patio doors closed at night, didn't hear bins being emptied balcony was really big it was great, could watch street artists. Overall we had a great holiday and would certainly book again so near beach!

bit worried when we arrived in benidorm and didnt get taken right to the hotel doors, thats because the street is for pedestrians though! Apartments are fantastic.. if you can get an end one.. it was huge compared to the other ones we saw. I went with three 17 year old girls and we had a great time, we were so safe, the people at reception were great and looked after us so much. The beach is so close, it was perfect.. right in the action but no noise.. its fair to say the balcony doesnt live up to much if your on the inside but id rather a bit of privacy than facing the street. Nothings overly expensive and the hotel and pool is across the road.. literally about 6 steps away! fab holiday.. nightlife was great too.. buy one get one free drinks most places!!

Just arrived back from the avenida apartments in benidorm , nice friendly staff. Our room was over looking a road. Was a little noisy, but we where in benidorm and was to be expected. If booking independently ask for a room on the 4th or 5th floor and over looking the road as the other rooms have little or no view at all. We was lucky and got room 418. We did here of some complaints over a strange smell but did not experience any in our room. Location is brill, right in the middle of old and new benidorm, so a slow night in the old town or a party filled night ( all night if want it) in the new, it`s all there.

I cannot stress enough how awful these apartments were!
Firstly we arrived, having booked two apartments and were told that there was only one apartment, we had to live out of our suitcases for two days until it was sorted out.
The fridge was on overdrive, was overheating so much that the rubber on the door was burning, as you can imagine it was a lovely smell! And the hot water didn't last long enough for 3 people to have showers.
Upon looking out onto the balcony we were confronted with a rubbish tip on top of the roof of the building opposite (about 2 or 3 metres away). They had even made a home for two pigeons out of an old sofa and a cupboard! The courtyard itself was boiling as all the air conditioning units back out from there. After complaining about our view and the smell we were shown another room facing the same view! As a result we weren't able to sit out on the balcony - a shame as it is usually a regular thing to sit and have a drink on the balcony before going out.
The rooms across the other side were much nicer apparently, but were mostly saved for the spanish.
The only good things I could say is that the air conditioning worked perfectly (if not loudly!) and the reception staff were polite. Also the hotel was only a 5 min walk to the beach.
To be honest though all the problems really spoiled what should have been a great holiday. I've stayed in much cheaper places before and they were nowhere near as bad as this place!
If you are thinking of staying here - please don't - you have been warned!

Bad points:
Noise level from street.
Pool is absolutely tiny with the sun starting to disappear at approx 5pm behind buildings.
Sun lounge area was difficult to get seated.
Maid was hardly there and the day it was in desperate need of mopping due to sand all she did was put new towels in bathroom.
Boiler played up in room and air conditioning unit on balcony leaked badly with heavy rusting.
The only view of the sea we got was when we hung over balcony and looked left.
Shower curtain was mouldy.
Pool bar stocked with hardly anything.
Bedroom window was right on corridor as was the bathroom, with loud noise and the worry someone could just lean in window if it were unsupervised.
Horrible smell in corridors and bathroom.
Parking was an absolute nightmare! Promised a space in the hotel car park, we arrived with our rental, and there was no space. We proceeded to spend the next two weeks feeding parking metres which weren't even near the hotel!* If you decide to stay here, my advice to you is don't hire a car!*
Good points:
Staff were friendly with adequate english.
Apartment seemed clean on arrival.
Plenty of bedding and towels.
Staff eager to aid my mother-in-law who had recently broken her leg and was in crutches.
Air conditioning was really good, even got too cold sometimes :)
As you can see, the bad outweigh the good. I would not like to stay here again, I know there are better places than this for cheaper, and to be honest, I wouldn't waste my money again. Hope this helps you decide if it is what you are looking for - don't expect it to be quiet or anything other than basic.

Our room was on the fourth floor and facing the Avenida hotel and overlooking a very busy street, which proved to be noisy, both day and night.
Rubbish as collected at approx 3.30 in the morning and the roads were swept about half hour before. Due to the noise from this and groups of young people who'd been drinking we were kept awake every night.
The apartments were clean when we arrived, but weren’t cleaned once during our stay, and the bathroom smelled. The staff were very friendly and helpful though.
The apartments are very close to the beach which was a huge bonus because the pool in the hotel was about the size of a postage stamp. Not a place to go if you want a relaxed holiday.

The La Caseta was in not too bad position to the old town. Nice walk through the park takes you into the heart of old town and also 3 minutes walk to new town.
Apartments were basic but homely. Met some lovely people who also stayed there. Not very good with towels, sheets, and toilet roll - you only get them changed once a week. Noone is at reception and I never saw my rep but all in all might go back to it.

On arrival Sat 2.00 our room was not yet available, but told to wait for ten mins, as still cleaning the room but was assured it would be a very nice room.
Our room was very nice staff couldn't be any nicer to us. Only problem was the cooker, we couldn't work it but as we were out all the time it didn't matter.
We also used the facilities over the road which were great, heated pool and jacuzzi also heated, it was great for relaxing after a late night out.
We also had live entertainment in the street as, it was fiesta time and had a great view for our balcony. Would certainly go back, as this location was also great for all the big shops like Zara etc.

Brilliant apartments 2 Adults and 2 teenage boys aged 17 years shared a two bedroom apartment. The room was very clean towels were changed on a regular basis. Location ideal 100 yards to the beach and right in the centre of the old town.
24 hour reception making it easy to pick up and drop off keys as we did not keep the same hours as the 17 year old son and friend who loved the night life in the new town. The night life in the old town is brilliant lovely traditional bars and restaurants. The Hotel facilities for your use are lovely a nice sunbathing area on the roof with pool and Jacuzzi a cool peaceful bar to have a drink before venturing into the town.
I would definitely book again when revisiting the area.

We arrived lunchtime on the Saturday for our two week holiday with our four children in a two bedroom apartment, a very pleasant greeting by the reception staff. The apartment was fairly cramped but we made do as basically we planed to be out most of the time.
Great position for the beach literally a minutes walk, ideal location for the shops and any bars, restaurants you like, we personally liked the robin Hood for breakfast as it served a proper English breakfast. Without doubt the best Italian is Gigios which is on the mediterano just past the indoor bowling on the other side of the road, and don’t go to any Chinese restaurant than China garden, which is on the same road as Benidorm palace just before the large supermarket.
The only downside to the holiday is our room was not cleaned in a fortnight and we had to ask for our towels change.
