Just returned from yet another great holiday at the Terralta. We have been every year for the past 4 years. Staff great. Really friendly & helpful. Apartments very clean. Entertainment may not be brilliant for adults but the kids love it. The only problem is the sun beds being reserved. Unless you get up at 7.30-8am to get a sunbed you may find you are struggling especially if you need to get one near the kids pool or the shallow end of the main pool.

stayed here for 4 5 days with two friends (we are 23) not a bad word to say! pool was amazing staff were great place was spotless and rooms were huge! bit out the way but would rather that than be in the middle of lavante!.
food was nice, nothing special but nice enough!. happy hour! whoop two smirnoff ices and two pints of cider for 7.50! entertainment was a bit rubbish but when is it ever good in hotels? if you want that go to vegas!
loved it loved it loved it! got to go now so i can book again for next year!

I am now wishing to win the lottery so i can live here!!! Relaxing fun atmosphere by the pool, drinks, ice cream etc a bit pricey from the bar, happy hour between 9 & 10pm (2 for 1 on lager, wine, smirnoff ice & sangria). Lots of kids in and around pool but it was absolutely magic when most left about 6pm and you had pool nearly to yourself. Our kids met others there and had fun together, thomas cook kids club was ok animacion team brill thankyou to joe & anna who took kids away for an hour most days to play golf, darts etc, also water polo, pool etc for adults twice a week. Internet computers in reception area for kids who are missing msn! (not expensive for computers). evening entertainment got a bit repetetive in the second week but younger kids absolutely loved it, loads of games karaoke, bingo etc. Benidorm is a very big place and please be prepared for a lot of walking, hire a car or get taxi's. Bus service is ok and there is a bus timetable in reception. we were ripped off once with expensive bad food in spanish restaurant so stuck to english cafe bars in new town. Pizza's aren't very well made by the spanish, sorry!!

I Recently stayed In Terralta apartments for a week and i cannot make one bad comment on the place!
The Staff were lovely and always happy to help, no matter what hour!
The Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Theres a great little shop inside where u can get most of your daily items.
The Security was of high standard and safety deposit boxes were avaible!
Everyone seems to talk about this hill as if its everest! The Walk down is fine.. the walk up can be tiring especially in the heat but as u can get a taxi from the bottom to the top for 3 euros i dont really think anyones able to complain!
I Totally recommend the newtown for anyone who wants some decent nightlife..
i thoroughly enjoyed my stay and thought it was worth every last penny! i would definately stay there again!

just got back from 2 weeks stay in terralta , and are looking to book again next year, kids aged 11 and 13 both really enjoyed it. pool was very good and even had a lifeguard 10- 6,,, note pool salt water but not bad .sun loungers are uncomfortable and you can hire mats for sunbeds at 1 euro a day or 5 for week , but i found out that if you hire them for 1 day and keep hold of them nobody was checking plenty of sunbed available till about 10
entertainment was ok and always finished by about midnight, if you want entertainment you had to go to the square le vante end can walk it in 30 mins or taxi 7 euro approx, there are also plenty of places to eat in old town once you have found them.
supermarket on site not good there is one at bottom of hill , hill isnt steep but we only walked up once as in the heat it is hard work.
the complex is very clean, rooms are clean but they only change towels twice a week, best to take towels off trolleys in corridor, also you have to empty your own bin, as others have reported the cockerels go on all night and day .
all in all the hotel is slightly out of the way but well worth the money

Just returned from 1 week at terralta apartments, absolutely loved it! My husband and i went with our two kids aged 10yrs & 7yrs, they absolutely loved the pool. I can't emphasize enough how clean these apartments are, if you are a bit like myself and clean is important you will have no complaints at all. There is air conditioning which is a must, when i was reading the reviews prior to our holiday i was a bit put off when i kept reading about the steep hill, i can honestly say my family and i didn't think this was a problem at all, we walked up and down it on numerous occasions and it was fine . I could maybe see it being a problem for elderly or disabled people but that's all. The food in the complex is just basic stuff we ate out most times, also entertainment wasn't fab but it was ok, again we went out most nights to main benidorm which was a 20 minute bus journey, you can get the no.12 bus at the bottom of the hill just at the pharmacy. We discovered on the last day that we were only 5mins from poinente beach which is absolutely beautiful. The apartments are a good bit further back from main benidorm but we thought that was one of it's charms. All and all a great time had by all and we would definitely go back.

We stayed at the Terralta appartments in Benidorm. The appartments themselves were very good, clean and the staff friendly. We saw no rep the whole time we were there from thompson, and received no advice on how to book shows or tours. we did this through an external agency. My advice is to go next time and book it via the internet. The thompson holiday was very very over priced!!!!

I am back from the Terralta one week now. Would recommend them the any body. 10 out of 10. I travelled with my partner, his 17 yr old son and 14 yr old twin boys. Everyone had a great time. The apartments cater for all ages and prefrences. The rooms were perfect. Air conditioning, all the essentials in the kitchen. Everything was spotless. Cleaners came about 4 times to changed beds and towels. Staff in the apartments were extremely kind and speak perfect English. The bar staff are really friendly and will do their utmost to help at all times. Didn't find the hill too much of a struggle over the two weeks. It is quite long and fairly steep, but after a couple of days it is a doddle. Bus costs 1.20 Euro and you can travel anywhere in Benidorm for this price. Number 8 leaves from outside apartments every 30 mins, and the number 12 can be got at the end of the hill. It is a bit more regular. Didn't use the beaches too much but they are very clean and never really over crowded. Lots to do on them like soccer , volley ball and there is even a small gym on Pointente beach. The entertainment is average. The entertainers are really nice and friendly. Happy hour is from 9-10 each night. Draught beer, wine smirnoff ice and sangria are 2 for the price of one.

me and my fiance have just got back from staying at terralata apartments. the apartments were really lovley and clean and modern had all you needed in them for self catering only downside was the hill it was up. for any one with walking diffuclties i wouldnt recomend this as it was a very steep hill.once you reached the bottom of the hill you were directly into the old town with all the shops. were there was mainly spainsh in the old town.good thing was directly at the hotel entrance there was a bus that stopt every half hour and took you into the old town taxis wernt to dear either. entatiment was rubbish.staff were lovley and friendly and food was nice to. just location really.

We stayed at the Terralta from 25 June to 2nd July and found the accomodation to be very clean, modern and spacious. The pool is great, with a jacuzzi and waterfalls in it and is very shallow in most of it which would be great for young kids, there is also a baby pool. Don't know what entertainment or kids clubs are like as our kids were older.
The staff are very pleasant and speak good english and the food is nice and reasonably priced. The walk to the old town is about 15 mins and another half hour to the new town.We usually got a taxi back, which was 6 euros from the old town or 7 euros from the new town.Good places to eat are laqu something or other chinese in the poinetta beach part of the old town it was only 32 euros for a 3 course meal for 4 and a bottle of wine, but the meal for 4 was a lot, so it would do about 5 or 6 people. Sherrys british pub in the old town does great british food and is about 5 to 7 euros per meal.Big portions too! In the new town we found a small pub called The Leeds Arms and their british food was delicious too, with everything homemade even the big chunky chips and the curry!Go and see Robbie Williams in the Jail Rock pub in the new town and we had a good kareoke night in Vincents pub in the old town. Benidorm old town is beautiful and great for shopping and I would always stay at that part of Benidorm and the Terralta apts were a bit further back than I would've liked but they were great and I would stay there again.Try otbeach or travel republic for cheap accomodation and flights for here, as that s who we went with and saved a fortune!Go there and have a great time!

hi all,
we thought the appartments were fantastic and were very happy with it all,
the hotel it on a slight hill but there are 2 sides of a hill that you can choose and one is easier than the other, the left side lol.we had very sore legs untill we found it.
The staff at reception were very helpfull and kind, will order you a taxi any time of day or night for 20c and the resturant staff are very nice to,work very hard all day long.
Room service was very good we had it3tmes in the week, once for the sheets on the bed and towls the rest,we went self catering and everything was there that you could need in a kitchen,we did eat in the resturant a few times and the food was realy good very tasty!only not so good thingi wil tell you is that there is a cockrell that likes to crow early in the morning not so bad if your not close to where it lives but we were, not alot you could do but get used to it lol.
we went in to the old town as well as the new town we did walk it mostof the week, takes 10 mins to the old town and anything from 20 mins onward for the new town depending how far you went along,we went all the way to the end most days, shopping is fantastic for all ages and food is very nice lots to choose from, one of our favourates was tony romas fantastic rack of house special ribs yumyum! we also liked the india gate resturant owned by a true indian that lived in india fantastic food and service! we ate in the old town2 and had some spannish meals, love the spannish omlette fantastic!
we also ventured out to terra natria was about 8e in a taxi nothing much at all,had a great day there lots of animals there got some lovely pics,it also has a water park in it where you can swim with sharks and sea lions, but we chose not to as we wernt to keen on the look of the water and swimming with sharks and fish doesnt sound very safe or relaxing lol,we also got a taxi back in to the town centre wich was about 6e.
i recomend if you can to go to the wed market, you can get fantastic deals, barter all you can they love it,i got a designer bag for 5e and the begining asking price was 45e so was a good day, they do food and drinks there to at a cheap price so you can spend as long as you like there and take your time.you can get a taxi from the appartments for about 8e.
over all we had a great holiday benidorm is a fantastic place will love it always, and terralta appartments was the best hotel i have stayed in so far,so if you are looking to stay here then i sugest go for it,you will have a very good pleasent time, enjoy!!

I was very pleased with the accomodation at Terralta. The apartments were very big and extremely clean. Maid came in 3 times in a week and changed the beds in the middle of the week. The staff at the reception and bar were very helpful and courteous. The entertainment was not great but the two in-house entertainers tried their best and all in all was very enjoyable as they tried to include everyone. The kids really enjoyed it and it was also good that they came during the day for a short while also to play some games with the kids as the kids club was not great - it was only on for an hour and half a day in the morning and if you were not booked through Thomas Cook you had to pay 5 euro a session, my son did enjoy it though and was very pleased to receive certificates each day for winning games. The facilities were great and the food served in the bar was good. They have a happy hour each evening too with buy one get one free on drinks. There is a big basement arcarde with pool tables, air hockey and other arcade games and also two pool tables outside so plenty to keep the kids occupied. The swimming pool was fantastic and as it sloped gradually my son was able to gradually over the week overcome his fear of the water. He had such a good time he did not want to come home and has specified that he will only ever return to this hotel again. So guess where I will be holidaying next year??? The only critism is the small supermarket - it is more expensive than the other supermarkets and does not stock any fresh produce ie fruit etc and I found this out on my second day, there is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill and it is larger and stocks more and is less costly. The apartments are a bit out of the town centre about 10/15 min walk it is ok going down but found it hard coming home in the heat so we opted for walking into town and getting a taxi back around 5 to 7 euro. The number 8 bus takes you into town and runs right outside hotel every hour.

Apartments were very clean, very family friendly. Pool was fantastic and kids play area was ideal. Couldn't have found a more family orientated environment to stay at. Was a decent walk to the town but didn't find this a problem. Will definitely return again. Housekeeping attended twice during the week we were there. Handy shop which was open until 7 on a night. The apartments were only 3 floors and each block had a lift so was great for pushchairs. Apartments all had air conditioning.
