i have just returned from a short stay with my husband, 12 year old daughter, 5 month old baby daughter and our bulldog! We had a fantastic time and the staff were amazing. Yes the rooms were a little 'quirky' but that is what you expect when you go somewhere like that! My... more

Having booked a 4 night stay, the hotel is in a beautiful location and looks quite grand from the outside and indeed the inside is quite grand and at first sight appears perfectly acceptable apart from the artwork which was quite at odds with the interior. My husband has... more

Just searching for accomodation on the web, after deciding to return once again to the South West for a summer break and came upon the Camelot Site. I have to own up to having stayed here 3--yes three times previously in the early 90s.The descriptions of the accomodation... more

Lovely food, lovely surroundings, excellent service, however we felt the 'surprise' of the Lightbox was a complete waste of time. How stupid do they think we are? What was that all about?! We were shown some random artwork (not very good) in front of a light. We had no idea what that was all about. Good for a laugh but nothing else!!

My husband and I decided on a last minute trip to cornwall for a 2 night stay. Upon arrival the hotel does seem rather impressive and the views are outstanding. After booking in a very enthusiastic man insisted on showing us around the ground floor, the dining room and... more

The stunning location, luxurious surroundings were amplified by an exterior of a building that could not fail to impress. The Website offers many views of the rooms to book, and as this was last minute, I was overjoyed to be able to reserve a two night stay in one of the... more

We came back from Tintagel yesterday after spending four nights at Camelot castle - the place that has its very own character. I have just read all reviews left here by other people and have to say they are almost all true - good and bad ones. You certainly have to have the... more

We have just returned from the Castle in Tintagel and have had a great time. In a world of increasing blandness, it's good to stay in a place with some character - it's like being in a movie set in the 1930s. The place is under renovation and the rooms are being redone, but... more

We stayed 3 nights on a off season deal, good value. You are paying for the location, on top of a cliff overlooking the ancient king arthur's castle, and the fact you are staying in a castle. The staff were friendly, food nice. The room had a 4 poster bed, though not... more
