The apartments were part of an extension to the hotel and brand new, we were about the third week in. 4 of us booked up in a chalet of 16, all guests were friendly and chalet hosts were great - the food was amazing!!
We had a sauna in the chalet which was great - we tried out the swimming pool under the main building which was a bit dirty and cold. Didn't go back there. One of the best things was having a ski hire shop attached to the building and having no queues to pick up your gear - definitely recommended!
A lot of teething problems which have hopefully been sorted out now, i.e. lifts didn't work, chimney smoke came back into living room! Lighting not working properly.
Beautiful views over Les Arc 2000 and we could see Mount Blanc from our windows - great! I loved the actual resort, although it was a bit of a trek to the slopes and a scary hill back down last thing at night for beginners.
Overall a great holiday - If I go back to Les Arc would go here again.

Absolutely Fabulous!! Brilliant for beginners and the more experienced, we took five children (who also loved it) and still had a great time!!! The food was lovely and the chefs were really friendly I would recommend going with esprit for anyone who likes or would like to ski, ok so it is a little pricey but it is worth every penny!! Suitable for ALL ages! The kids loved the swimming pool too!!

Our party of 11 ( ages 9 to 58) have just returned (6th January 2007) from Chalet Alitude in Arc 2000.
The apartment was large and catered for our party without any major concerns. Has a large lounge/dining/kitchen with dishwasher ( no not me ).
Plenty of bathrooms with ample hot water, bedrooms are a reasonable size for two people, but dont expect the beds to be made for you.
The pool was dirty and cold, we did not go back, the sauna was, to us, a large cupboard.
The car parking is a must as there is very limited parking in the area.
The apartment was warm, well very warm with the underfloor heating and radiators in each room.
There is a TV, but we could only find mainland European language programmes, no English.
We arrived at the resort at 13.30 and called in to see if the room was ready, no, as expected it would not be ready until 1700 hrs, but they did say they would ring if it was ready sooner.
We called back at 1710 to be told that the room was still not ready as they were awaiting towels. We finally got into the room at 1745 hrs still without towels, which did get delivered later.
The towels are changed on Wednesday, but dont expect to get everything on the first visit, we are still awaiting the bath mats to be replaced when we left on Saturday morning.
I would consider there are not enough staff behind the desk when the rush is on at 1700hrs.
There is a supermarket, well a small shop within the complex, but the range of food was not brilliant. The Spar in 1950 was excellent, though the range of bread first thing in the morning was OK.
The ski shop within the complex was good and they provided a very helpful service at reasonable prices.
There is a night club/pub which is open until 0200 each night and the music is LOUD, being on the1st floor at the front is not a recommendation.
Our ski cupboard was a little small to fit 11 sets of skis and boots in.
Good points, yes there are some. The place is warm, close to the lifts (100mtrs), fabulous views and has a good car park.
