Hotel is terrible!!!!! But first I have to say, that our agency did not contact the hotel about our arrival, so they weren’t ready for us, they gave us rooms that we did not booked, they made us wait for half hour in the lobby, and in the end we have to pay for the night spend in a hotel - we already paid everything to the agency so this was on top of everything!!! In this hotel nothing is invested since it was built!!! Room are horrible, furniture is old and ruined, so are the bathrooms with only showers in them with missing tiles and NO WATER AT ALL in the evening hours when everyone is coming from the beach and want to shower. The beach is so small, it is cca 50, 60 meters long, and it is the only beach in Vela Luka, so is not just CROWDED, its awful how man people are there during the day, like the ants. Vela Luka itself is not a pleasant place, there is nothing to do or to see, and the place is ugly! So, do not go there, no matter what the agencies say, it is not worth your money. Croatia is beautiful, and if you want to come to islands I recommend Brač or Hvar, or some of the northern islands, Korčula sucks!

However Croatia Divers insured us that the hotel was taken over by a professional company, totally renovated and that we could look forward to a great time!
We indeed had a great time. The hotel was very nice, the rooms and furniture are brand new, the food was good and diving was in one word great! The team of the dive center knew what they where doing, made us feel safe and welcome. I can recommend both hotel and diving with Croatia Divers to everybody!
