Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from a 10 night all inclusive stay at the Hotel President Porto d'Alcudia and we had amazing time!
The hotel is second to non with 4 outdoor swimming pools, 1 indoor swimming pool a spa, jacuzzi and sauna available all day and plenty of food and drink. The only downside to the outdoor pool is that there was no life guard present. There is one pool dedicated for babies and toddlers this was a quieter shallow pool. We booked All Inclusive during our stay which was worth every penny. If we missed a set meal and go out for the day the chef will make a packed lunch for you - or alternativey you can come back to the hotel and enjoy bar snacks all day. There was always something nice to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner made in front of you so you know its fresh!Plenty of meats, salads, breads and deserts - something for all the family!
The bedrooms are cleaned daily by room service - overall the hotel is immaculate with a team of cleaners that work hard all day to keep the hotel spotless. Overall the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a private beach and beach bar which we went to every day. We even met Harrison Ford on this beach - that is how exclusive the area is.
There are lots of things to do at the Hotel President - to entertainment team loked after the children durng the day with a mini disco and adult entertainment every night. The main Port of Alcudia is only 10-15 minutes away byfoot (which ia nice walk) and there is a market on certain nights during the week. During the day the hotel put on a free bus service from the hotel to Aludia centre which was good (for all inclusive guests). There is also an 'Old Town' market in Alcudia which we enjoyed - this takes place every Tuesday. We also visited the Caves of Drach whilst we were there which is a great day out!
We will definatley be going back in the future and would recommend this hotel to other guests. We cannot fault this hotel - it was an amazing holiday and can't wait to return to make more happy memories on the pretty island of Majorca!

The Hotel gave us our key cards without problems at the beginning, the reception staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean, they were cleaned daily and the towels were changed daily. All the rooms had air-con which was brilliant as one day, it was 39 degrees C in the Sun. The TV had two English channels, Sky News and BBC 1, there is a built in radio in the room, the balcony was fine and enough space, it also had a pull-out rack ,so you can dry you swimming costume and towels. There are chairs on the balcony. The bathroom was clean. The meals were very nice and there was a big choice at all meals, however the choice seamed to be roughly the same every day. There is a Spa and Turkish bath with indoor swimming pool that we did not use so i dont know if it is any good. The four swimming pools were kept clean and the area around them was swept in the mornings before anybody went down there. The shallowest pool is 60cm deep and so is good for the younger children. The rest are 1-10, 1-80 and 2 meters deep. There are enough sunbeds and we didn't have any problems getting them. The pool bar is just up some steps from the pool and there are some seats up there or you can get the dissposable cups to take down to the pool side. There is a daily mini bus/van that go's to Port d'Alcudia everyday at certian times, there is a very nice and popular beach there. You can also hire a car through the reception. We did this as there are lots of good views and places around the island such as mountians and caves. There is a car park for the hotel just a short walk down the road. Also there is a small but nice beach down, out in front of the hotel, the bar there is not all inclusive I think.
The entertianment was sometimes ok. Sometimes the behave people in to entertain like music or dancing and sometimes three of the hotel staff would do some good or bad dancing.
There was a mini disco for the kids every night and also a mini club in the morning. There is a children's playground up behind the stage and also a tennis court and football pitch up across the road at the top.
Overall everything was great and I would go again sometime!
I am fourteen and i travelled with my brother and Mum and Dad.

Having come back after 2 weeks at this Hotel. We would highly recommend it. We had a great time. The hotel it's self is very clean, the staff are all friendly. The food is a little repetitive when you stay for 2 weeks but to be honest there is enough choice each day to have something different. You can't get certain drinks on all inclusive but there are plenty others to chose from. If you want crisps or Ice-cream lollies these are chargeable. They do have little ice-cream tubs which are all inclusive. The entertainment & restaurant staff were fantastic and helped to make our holiday so good. There are 4 pools 3 of which can only be accessed by stairs. You can get to the children's pool via 1 lift. There is a small beach which has a bar but isn't included on the all inclusive deal. This is a quiet area with no nightlife except the entertainment put on by the hotel. Great for relaxing. They do have games for the kids & adults at various times of the day. there is a shuttle bus to Alcudia port but it only cost about 5 euros for a taxi. All in all a great place to go to if you want a relaxing holiday. We have 2 children under 10 who loved it the spent most of the day either at the children's club or in the pool.

We booked this at the last minute to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. As with most people, you look at the reviews beforehand and I was a bit unsure as to what to expect.
All I can say is that we all thought the hotel and the area of Alcanada were superb. The hotel couldn't do enough to accomodate our needs and helped to make my husbands birthday very special. Everywhere was spotless and the staff were always immaculately dressed and polite. The food was very varied and I think if you can't find anything you like to eat there, you must be very fussy.
The area of Alcanada is very pretty and has a quaint air about it. We had some lovely walks, including ones to the Golf Club, which was also situated in a beautiful setting. Although we were all inclusive we ate at The Teraza restaurant for my husbands birthday and that was also excellent.
I don't normally trouble to write reviews, but I felt the photos and reviews don't give the hotel or area enough justice. This was a wonderful relaxing hoiday where busier resorts were nearby if you wanted a bit more activity. Fantastic and will go again

We spent 8 days at the Hotel President and were reasonably impressed with the value for money you get from this hotel. However, if you have small children..Beware and this must have been rated 4* by spanish standards as it is at best a 3*.
There is clearly a problem with the Air Conditioning in this hotel as all the parents with young children we spoke to said there kids had terrible coughs, loss of appetite and being violently sick. Even when the temperature was relatively low outside, the Air Con was blasting out in all areas of the hotel. Why I ask?. When I raised this issue with the Reception Staff they stated that it must be the immune system of British Kids as they had never experienced illnesses amongst children in the hotel before. The rooms are very small if you have young children and although we requested a cot for our stay, there wasnt one present in the room on our arrival and had to wait until the following day. Not ideal.
The food was quite good but never saw any evidence of theme nights as described on the hotel website. The variety was reasonable and something for everyone but more so if you were German/Eastern European. The meat was always cooked infront of you which was good.
Couldnt complain about the all inclusive part in relation to drinks which were easily available at all times and a varying variety to get you drunk. Bar Pool served snacks (Well appeared to be only Hotdogs) although this ceased between the hours of 1pm-3pm.
There is an indoor pool but with some very strange rules. You had to wear a swim cap and also wear suitable plastic shoes. Anyone would have thought you were entering a olympic swimming arena as they were very strict on this. These wernt provided but for a rip off fee of 6 Euros, you could buy these from the hotel. So in effect, it would have cost us 18 Euros to go for an indoor swim for an hour. (Under 16's) only allowed in between 12pm-1pm daily. Not impressive for an all inclusive hotel.
Bus stop to Alcudia is about 100 metre walk and seemed cheap and reliable. Not a bad hotel for older children and older people but would not recommend this to young couples as there is nothing nearby.

The Hotel Was Brilliant.
There Was A Small Beach Just A Little Way Away.
Was With Two Teenage Girls Aged 13 & 14 At The Time.
The Hotel Had ALOT Of Teenagers There.
The Food Was Just Ok, The Beer Wasnt Nice And The Entertainment Was Non Existent!!
Went Into Town Once Which Was Quite Okay But Would HAve Prefered More Entertainment Because The Girls Had To Make There Own Entertainment With There Friends.
Most People Were English Although There Was A Few Polish.
But Overall Was VERY Good

I have been to this hotel several times I love it.
Nice relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.
I have been as a family group with adults and children aged between 1 yr and 19 we have all had a great time.
The food isnt up to much but the holiday certainly pays for itself in the comsumption of Sangria morning till night.
The staff are extremely helpful and nice.
Will go back again and again.
My favourite relaxing destination, have been holidaying here since 2003

Went for a week all inclusive and it was a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean (until we used them) and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was pretty much the same as any all inclusive hotel with trays of different meats and fish, vegatables (mostly spinach) and as much mash potato you could ever eat.
I'm pretty fussy about my food so lived mainly on jam and toast in the mornings and would eat KFC or pizza's in the town after a few lagers in the local bars.
Entertainment in the hotel is not great, but once you've been drinking the free booze for a few hours you can imagine you are watching Celine Dion in las vegas, when you are in fact sitting next to Maureen from Manchester and watching one of the bar staff sing.
The hotel pool is very small, but its not very busy so you can always buy yourself a lilo and lay in the pool and sleep off a hangover for a few hours without much interuption (apart from the bloody flies!) and then head to the table tennis for a few games before the afternoon boozing begins.
All in all, its a nice hotel for couples if you want a drink, aren't too bothered about going into town for a meal or 2 during the week and are a table tennis fan who really likes flies.

it was not a bad hotel the pool wasnt great but that was more to do with being near the beach and loads of flies hanging round
the food was basic and edible but it did seem to be mash poatato and spinach everyday
there was a problem where a ceiling collapsed where a toilet above has been blocked and it did cause an injury to lady below
bars nearby was ok although we did found a pair of soiled pants in the toilet when we entered there
also there is a house nearby where dog barks all night so if your at front of hotel that can be annoying
hotel staff were friendly

Decor dated. Accommodation good size but thin walls. Hair drier a joke ! Food generally good and varied but occasionally overcooked. Entertainment sparse, especially for children. Beach picturesque but tiny. A couple of members of staff with an attitude problem but the manager sorted them out.
Unless you are a golfer I think there are better options in Alcudia, with the advantage of central amenities.
