Stayed at the Mallorca Beach after getting a late deal for the August bank holiday. The Hotel itself is in an ideal position if you dont want to be in the town centre. Its right at the end of Magaluf Beach. Excellent for couples and families. Our stay there was lovely although we experienced alot of our belongings going missing from our room, money, clothes and make-up. I reported this at reception several times with no result so on the last day i purposely left some inexpensive items that were easily replaced once home. The ony person to enter the room was the maid. Before handing my key back in i returned to the room to find them gone and not handed in at reception. The maids covered each ohers backs and reception staff were very unhelpful. The stealing appeared to be a team effort.
Please dont let this put you off our overall stay was fantastic and the hotel chef never let us down with an excellent selection of foods daily
Enjoy but be warned!!!!

i found this hotel absolutely terrible the rooms were old fashioned and shabby and very small. when we arrived we was told our room wouldnt be ready for four hours so we had to hang around there was no help from staff whatsoever. our toilet was flooding with water. sadly a boy died while we was staying there he fell through a window from the balcony it didnt make us feel safe after that i would say the best part of the hotel was the food but that was about it. i wont be returning to the marjorca aparthotel again it spoilt my holiday for me and my friends.

after reading some reviews i was a bit dubious about going to majorca beach hotel. i needn't have worried. there were 4 of us staying age 42 45 39 27 and found the hotel catered for all age groups. the reception staff were very helpfull and pleasant and the maids were very nice too. the hotel is quite shabby though and it desperatley needs updating. our room was really good, on the tenth floor with spectacular sea views. the apartment was really spacious with plenty of storage and air conditioning too. overall we enjoyed our stay here and we only paid £165 each so we got a bargain hotel at bargain prices. i think thats what people should think about when writing a review. you get what you pay for. we were self catering but didnt cook, we went to the happy inn right on the beach next to tom browns where we got pepper steak with chips and salad and a glass of wine or beer for 7 euros and the staff are great fun and very nice. if you like entertainment on holiday i recommend pachas pub at the top of the strip. we have been going there for 5 years years and the drinks are good priced. the rock band gazoline play there on sundays and every second thursday and they are a must see for all ages, blues brothers put on a great show too, but the best is a U2 tribute band they were FANTASTIC. if you are going to majorca beach i hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did

This was an excellent holiday, we wanted a week of sunshine and fun and Magaluf was certainly the place to provide it. We stayed at the Majorca Beach Hotel and it was friendly , clean but basic , no frills but functional and served our needs very well, breakfast was well worth geting up for but we didn't care too much for the evening meal as the same food was on offer every night. The location of this hotel was it's best asset, practically on the beach and a stones throw away from pubs , bars , nightclubs and restaurants , no need for taxi's. To our surprise despite this town being notorious for teenage party goers there was plenty of variety for all ages and types , if you wanted a quieter beach bar you had it , if you want to dance till 4 you had it. The selection of restaurants is fantastic , you won't go hungry here. The famous Pirates Adventure Show although a little pricey is a must and has 2 showings an earlier for families and an adults only that goes on into the night. There are also 2 water parks which are great fun but not for the faint hearted. All in all a great place to go with plenty to eat , drink and do. We loved it and would certainly go back again.

me and my friend, both 17, came back from magaluff on the 4th august and stayed in the majorca beach hotel. we were half board and regretting it now. there was not much variety in food and we had to pay for drinks which we found abit disgusting. the room itself was ok. it was clean and tidy, but the shower was ridiculiously small. it leaked the bathroom everytime we took a shower. it wasn't appropriate for young people as we couldn't have a laugh without getting told off. we got told to be quiet alot, but didn't see why we should as we were on holiday, trying to have a laugh. this hotel is more for children, adults and families.my sister stayed in the martinique hotel and that was alot better for young people trying to have a laugh. there wasn't a kid in sight. i'd advise young lads and lasses to stay there. the majorca beach hotel was very strict with security aswell, so you couldn't take people back to your hotel.we thought we'd brighten our holiday up by jumping in the pool after a night out but got threatened with a fine, and got chased by the pool security man up to our room. we didn't seem no harm in this ourselves, but got told to be quiet because kids were in bed. you shouldn't take kids to magaluff!!!! one last point to make....the reps ripped us off with a deal they offered us. it was 180euro's for free entry into clubs, a booze criuse and other things. but you could get it cheaper at ticket booths. so we got a rubbish deal. so half of our money was gone the first night. don't do it!!
The stay started off ok, then...

The stay started off ok, then the nighttime staff kept trying to take advantage of their single key per room system and one person in question a black man named "Sylvester" was asking for "Pound Coins" from our safe.. just to borrow an emergency key to get into the room.
Then one evening after a night out i come back and leave the key behind reception for my cousin (as no guests are allowed in the hotel and i had made a new friend, so decided to walk her back to her own hotel Sol Antillas). between this time and my cousin returning someone managed to break into our room via the bedroom balcony door (we were on the 1st floor but there is an bar that is attached directly to our side of the hotel.) stole some clothes some which were brand new, some which were very smelly and also some aftershave they also managed to break into the security safe in our room.
When my cousin returned to this mess he immediately asked the black man Slyvester to call the police, he was told "Its hotel policy to call first thing in the morning" and it wasnt until my cousin argued with him for nearly an hour before he agreed to call the police.
When they arrived (6 of them! Gardia Ciliv.. in the green shirts) they were looking around the room touching some items which could have been evidence and also stated they couldnt get finger prints from doors and the safe.
After they left I mentioned to "Sylvester" about the safe and he immediatly said i should not accuse the staff of using any codes for the safe. I was merely trying to tell him that as I had forgotten my code a few days previous to this i saw one man from reception a man named Anton enter the over-ride for the safe which could have meant anyone else who had the same problem could also have seen this as he made no effort to shield the code away from me.
He said only two staff have access to these codes and these are the engineers, I managed to ask an english member of staff a man from newcastle who was an engineer. When I asked about how many members of staff had the access code he also started saying "Here its not what we do here" again taking the defensive approach as though i am accussing him or a fellow member of staff. He told me the engineers only fix the safes and dont enter any codes.
we went to the police station later that day and were in there for well over 2 hours in that time there were a lot of reports of people being mugged and handbags being stolen.
If travelling to Magaluf in peak season best advice is to use one of the Sol branded hotels Sol Antillas as their security seem to be a LOT better or just get a safe outside the hotel.

The rooms are clean but very small. The food wasnt awlful but it wasnt anything to shout about. Release while staying that the lad that died in the hotel was stay on the same floor which was slightly worrying. The pool is small for the size of the hotel but the beach is only walking distance away. Reps were friendly. Stairs and the floor of the lifts are starting to fall apart. I wont be going back and i wont be recommending the hotel eiher

Me and 3 girlfriends flew out to magaluf on the 3rd of August for one week, I had read the reviews beforehand and had heard about the lad that fell out the window and died, We were all ready for a crazy week and took into account that there may be trouble with all the drunken idiots stayin ther but to be honest we never had a problem with them or the safety issues in the hotel. It was the amount of stealing that went on in the hotel that we had a problem with. No end of people includin ousleves had stuff taken and to be honest we totally believe it was the hotel staff doin it, mainly the maids and the BLOODY NIGHT TIME RECEPTIONISTS! we have no proof it was them but 1 male night time receptionist had the look of guilt written all over his face when confronted!!! The morning we got there it was 6am he was on reception and with being so tired my friend accidently left her hand bag in reception for 10 mins total, stupid we know, and when she got it back £40 english money had gone includin coppers!!! She then had her beach towel taken from our balconey mid week then on our very last night i had some jewellery taken out of my bag and one of my other friends had her lock broken off her suitcase but luckilly nothin was taken!!! These were left in the LOCKED luggage room while we waited for our plane. So please guys be so careful as other peeps stayin in the hotel had money fags and clothes taken. I would most def tell you to use your safe its not expensive and i think you may get your money back. Apart from that it was absolutely awesome we had the best holiday ever the weather was fab, food great, beaches and sea amazin, clubs and bars rocking!!! If i was to recommend anything to do go see the pirate show do the western water park and go dancin at a hed kandi night you will love it!!!! anyway have a great time guys and just remember to be sensible where your money and belongings are concerned.
the hotel itself is very nice....

the hotel itself is very nice. it is very clean and has a wonderful view providing it has a sea view, if you are on the other side of the hotel like i was at first the view is horrible. the reception staff are rude so dont exspect any help from them if you ask for a wake up call you probably wont get it. the pool is dirty and gets taken over by groups and with the pool being small already there is not a lot of room however, there is a beautiful beach two minutes away so you wont have any problems. this is not a place for families and couples it is very loud and full of ignorant people who come in at 5am shouting and screaming. the hotel staff will do nothing about this no matter how much you ask. the food is excellent, there is a lot of variety and theres always something for everyone.
for a week away with ya mates it would be wicked tho.

Myself And My Boyfriend Stayed In The Majorca Beach From 31st May For 1 Week. Have Been To Magalluf Many Time Before So Knew Wat To Expect In That Aspect. Magalluf Is Not A Quiet Resort And For Young/Young At Heart People Who Want To Enjoy A Lively Resort.
The Accomodation Was Lovely Reception Etc Very Clean. One Big Downside Was The Fact Our Room Wasnt Very Clean When We First Arrived. In Saying This Tho The Cleaners Were In Every Day Except Thursdays With Clean Towels Etc. Beeding Got Changed Twice In Our Weeks Stay.
Our Room Also Seemed To Be 2 Rooms Made Into A 1 Bed Apt.
Views From Hotel Were Fab And We Were Central To Everything. Just 5 Minutes Walk From The Strip.
Reps Were Fantastic And Hotels Entertainment Was Good Comedians Etc.
Would Recommend Goodfellows Bar On A Monday/Thursday They Have A Hypnotist Hilarious Show And Ok For Families To.
The Majorca Beach Hotel Is A Good Base For Anyone Wanting To Go Out And About In Magalluf But Wouldnt Reccommend It For Families.
