We have just got back from the Stil Aucanada apartments we had one of the 2 bedroom apartments overlooking the pool and cant fault them,spacious and clean plus in a nice quiet location.Very friendly staff but would say a hire car is a must

Not improved much since may 2008 then! Still no-one on reception, also had to ring to end up meeting a moody receptionist (local shop keeper said she's known for disappearing off to bars). Even when we checked out - still no one in sight, so just left the key. Side sea view... more

Secluded Mallorca from Danpurvis
I stayed here with my brother. We wanted a relaxing sea-side holiday, without too many touristy trappings and noisy nightlife. We got exactly what we wanted. This is quite a secluded part of Mallorca within short driving distances of more touristy attractions. I would definitely say you need a car if you stay here. Its about 45mins to an hour from Palma Airport. The apartments are very basic but clean. There is a kitchenette with fridge and electric hobs if you want to cook. Arrived here early on the sat morning (5am!) and realised we had left a vanity case on the carousel at the airport!!, the hotel manager was very helpful in trying to find us a number to call at the airport and let us use his phone, eventually had to hire a car which the hotel helped arrange to go back to the airport and we found it still laying on the carousel!! so a happy ending there the thought of no make up was not a good one lol!!. We had a one bedroom apartment which is located in a seperate building across the road from the two bedroomed apartments which overlook the pool area. There is a supermarket and pizzeria/ cafe/restaurant called Momo attached to the apartments. We only ate there the night we got there which was a Saturday night at about 11pm. The food was good but a little bit pricey. They can afford to be because there's only this restaurant, San Atonio and La Terraza in Aucanada We ate at the Hotel President the next night, which is twelve euros... more

Just returned from Aucanada after a very relaxing trip. Location of apartments is beautiful, secluded and quiet. Dont go here if you want action, this is the place to get away from it all. We had a car so travelled around the island a lot, especially inland to enjoy the real Mallorca. Apartments are basic but clean and very good value for money. Pool is lovely and the bar restaurant is a little pricey but very chilled with amazing views. We ate at the President hotel's buffet restaurant just 50 yards away a few nights for just 12 euros each... more

Got a last minute deal from Sunmaster in the half term October Holiday 06, last week of the season. Weather was glorious all week but we were told this was unusual for the time of year. Aucanada is a fantastically peaceful village about 20 minutes stroll or a 10 minute bus ride from Alcudia town and harbour. 1 euro each on the regular bus service (bus stop right outide the hotel) or 5-6-euros taxi fare).
