The hotel was fine, very spacious. We expected just one room. but we got two large rooms, one with a TV etc, a great bathroom, and a little kitchenette thing, which we did not use. The breakfast was very nice, served on a self service basis.
The BIG drawback to this hotel is where it is. You cannot get there by public transport at one go. You have to get a tube to the end of the line, then go to the bus station and get a 76 bus. The area the hotel is in is not pleasant at night, and when we had to get a bus, as there were no taxis available, the driver was very unhelpful, when we asked him (in Italian) to put us off at Prezzolini street. The hotel is not easy to find, as it is not directly in front of the bus stop, as the hotels web site tells you.
As I was travelling alone with my daughter, we were very worried when we appeared to be lost at midnight. The surrounding area is all high rise flats and a main road lined with skips and scrap cars, it does feel very eerie The hotel is a good 45 mins from the centre by tube and taxi. I would use this hotel if I was with my husband, but not again with my children. The place itself is good value for money, in fact really good, but the location is very poor.

Eur Suite is a clean, functional hotel (nothing special) with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are large and airy and the shower was fantastic!
Sadly, the location of the hotel is in an area which is rather intimidating and as it is a long journey into Rome (Bus then Metro), we could not stay out after dark as we didn't want to be walking around the area at night with children. If you do feel brave however, the bus stop is quite close to the hotel (assuming you get off at the right one- it's easy to get lost) and busses serve the area till at least midnight.
The hotel restaurant is over priced as the standard of food is not great, which is a shame as it would be useful to have a good restaurant when you are trapped in your hotel after dark. Since there is no pool or leisure facilities and the bar is expensive it is difficult to keep children entertained on your early return to the hotel.
Breakfast is ok, but not what we are used to from UK hotels- there's only so much cheese and ham a family can eat! All in all, ok if you don't mind early nights but don't go there with kids!
