Eden Alcudia Apartments Reviews
" Overall these apartments were good.... "
Submitted By: Miss N Bishop
Overall these apartments were good. With friendly staff, clean rooms, air conditioning, towels changed daily if you want them to be. It had two pools and a children's pool which were clean and well sized.
It was only a two min walk to the beach just through the gardens. Plenty of sunbeds round the pool and great service from 12.00 onwards.
We didn't eat in the hotel as we ate out but from what i heard it was good. We only saw the entertainment in the hotel once, it was a reptile show and the best thing was we had an anaconda around our neck, it was great. Although we didn't go to any other we did notice there was a different show on every night for the whole two week we were there.
There were a few faults but which hotel doesn't have them. The shower wasn't so good, the water dibbled out of it and the bath was really small. Also the room was small and cramped. Me and my partner stayed in a studio and there wasn't even a proper bed just two sofas which we had to push together to make a bed. But it was liveable for two weeks.
The kitchenette was basically equipped, a stove, sink, fridge, plates, pans etc. It didn't have a kettle but I took my own so it was fine. You can also rent out many things for a small fee, we had a safe in the room at 12 euro a week. But you were able to rent out kettles, microwaves, televisions etc. When we arrived there was a bottle of water already in the fridge, washing up liquid, tea towels and shampoo/body wash in the bathroom which I thought was good.
The area was pleasant, a good bar too. I would recommend visiting the Smiths bar just around the corner from the hotel. We spent most of our time there as their food is great! We visited can Picafort which was great. There was a great bar there named Birdies Bar just up from the taxi rank which cost 10 euro to get there from the hotel. It cost around 17 euro to visit Port Pollensia which was good but bars were hidden and had to be looked for.
We mainly enjoyed Alcudia itself plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and it was just a 15min walk away.
If you enjoy trips the Aqualand Arenal was great. I have been 5 times to this water park in the last 8 years. It's the biggest in Europe and I strongly recommend it. Also the Marine Land was good, especially the dolphin and sea-lion show.
One last comment don't visit the Chinese next door to the apartments as it gave a few people food poisoning.
Great hotel and we would revisit.

" Hotel was great everything you need... "
Submitted By: Miss SJ Jones
Hotel was great everything you need close to hand. The beach was directly behind the hotel and the hotel had three swimming pools, suitable for all ages.
The entertainment in the evening was ok but finished at 10.30pm even though we were told 12. Supermarket next door to the hotel with everything you need and there was also chemist next door.
There was a restaurant and a snack bar in the hotel we didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked ok and the snack bar was ok but didn't have much on the menu.
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and there was two of us. It was just the right size a studio would have been too small. As we went self catering I expected all the usual equipment you need to cook, however, we had to rent a toaster and kettle from reception as they weren't including in the price of our room.
Also there was no oven or microwave and only two hobs to cook on. This wasn't much of a problem for us as we ate out all the time, but for some people it could be a problem.
There was plenty to do around the hotel and in Alcudia. plenty of shops and restaurants both right and left to the hotel, but if you go right you will need a taxi because they are about a mile away.
Whilst on holiday we went to the Pirate Adventure dinner show and to the Western Water Park we booked these with no frills excursions. Both of these trips are suitable for all ages and the pirate adventure was fantastic as it is the third best show in the world.

" Eden, Alcudia in Majorca was more... "
Submitted By: Miss L Duffy
Eden, Alcudia in Majorca was more than I expected. I was self catering and got my holiday for £800 for my family of four for a week.
I didn’t know what to expect as I had never been on holiday abroad before.
The hotel was absolutely lovely, all marble, three swimming pools and great entertainment for the kids.
The staff were very friendly and there was only a two minute walk to the beach.
The rooms were a bit simple but who wants to spend time indoors? TVs weren’t present in the room but for about 20 euros you can rent one for the week, I chose not too because I just wanted to get out and about.
I would recommend this hotel as I met other tourists who had been before, so it must be good.

" Seven of us stayed at the Eden... "
Submitted By: Mrs S Simpson
Seven of us stayed at the Eden Alcudia, ages ranging from 4yrs to 55yrs. We had 2 one bed apartments and a studio. They were very clean and ample for our needs but I would advise a 1 bed apt for more than 2 persons. Towels were changed every day even on a Thursday (maid's day off) you just had to ask at reception and towels, etc, would be placed in your apt. Linen was changed half way through the week.
Couldn't fault the location, absolutely 'spot-on'. There were pools to accommodate both young and the not so young; the fabulous beach/sea was literally a 2/3 minute walk from the poolside through a grassy area which also had sun beds if you didn't fancy the poolside or beach.
Good beach bar serving tasty snacks and superb sangria! There were a couple of decent restaurants in the vicinity and a good bar called 'Posh Paddy's' which had live Irish music until midnight. Smiths bar did excellent English breakfasts! There was also a large supermarket next door to apartments. We went to Puerto Pollensa (17 euros in taxi - couldn't be bothered with public transport - too squashed!) two evenings as there was an abundance of restaurants to choose from including Indian, Chinese, Italian, etc.
Very pretty place. Church Square is where a lot of the restaurants can be found and this is very attractive at night. We also paid two evening visits to the Port of Alcudia (about 6 euros in taxi) which, again, is well worth a visit.
I'm pleased we stayed at Playa de Muro as wasn't too keen on the centre of Alcudia itself. Children thoroughly enjoyed water park, luckily it was a half cloudy day so not too hot in there.
Would definitely recommend Eden Alcudia Apartments if holidaying in this area. We didn't stay in at nights so couldn't really comment on entertainment. The children went to the kids disco a couple of nights which they enjoyed. Ate out all the time so couldn't comment on food but looked OK. We all had a super holiday and could have stayed longer!

" I really enjoyed staying at this... "

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! There was everything I needed close by or in the actual hotel itself!
The pools were lovely and got cleaned every night! The entertainment was good and I enjoyed watching it nearly every night! All the staff where really friendly! Behind the reception, in the bar, waiters the maids! All of them!
I didn’t go into the restaurant so I didn’t know what that was like but I went into the snack bar where the bar is and the food was nice there!
I would definitely go back to this hotel again! It was also really close to the beach it takes about 2 mins to get there! There are also lots of things going on for little kids and people all ages through the day!
It where very clean inside and a maid comes in to clean your rooms and gives you new towels, makes your bed etc everyday!
The only downside was you sometimes have to wait if you want a kettle because you had to hire them and there isn’t always one available!
There are so many other places to eat outside of the hotel there’s is plenty of different kind of shops and bars to!
I’d go there again any day!!

I have to say I was very impressed. This hotel is a 3 star with very good facilities. To be honest the food was not really tested as we eat out every day, I don't cook on holiday! If you are the sort that does then cooking facilities are very basic. Cooker consists of 2 hob rings with pans pots supplied and so on for drinking and eating. Ok for very basic goings on cooking wise so don't expect a a Sunday roast here ! You can hire a kettle for deposit only and a toaster and for the really boring types you can hire a TV.
Staff are friendly and helpful and speak good english. Rooms are kept very clean and you can expect clean towels and sheets daily.
Rooms are are air conditioned but not massive but then again how much time do you spend in your room !
I have to say what won it for me was the daily entertainment run by Jonas Tiny and Natalie 10 out of 10 they were ace!! Work very hard and are all very friendly. We are booking to go again and we have only been back a week!!!
