" The family run hotel was clean,... "

The family run hotel was clean, modern and welcoming with polite members of staff. The waiters tried hard to please and the food was fair but adequate. The problem I had with the shower leaking was never rectified but there were two attempts to right it! The water was not safe to drink as the rep had assured us it was and gave us a stomach upset - one time when the water tap was turned was a brown colour.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and is excellently situated very close to the shopping centre which consisted of a variety of many beautiful local Italian inlaid wood craft shops. There were many restaurants, cafes, jewellery and souvenir shops run by very friendly and hospitable people. The port is within easy reach, approximately a 15 minute walk where we were able to travel to Naples easily and quickly and was the starting point of many excursions, the best one for us being Capri.

I would have like to have been forewarned about the danger of crossing roads. A person I met was actually run down when walking across a zebra crossing. The driver’s only stop when you first step into the road otherwise you wait forever! Someone I met was going to complain about this on her arrival home.

The holiday destination is one I would look forward to returning to.
