Having just arrived back from a three night break from Rome staying at the above which we booked with Expedia I feel I must share my disappointment with other travelers who may fall into the same trap.
We booked two double rooms paying a full price of 290 euros per room per night. Being a four star hotel expecting breakfast to be included but were told in the am that because we booked with Expedia this is not so! Had we booked the hotel direct breakfast would be inclusive instead of the 44 euros for a family of 4 every morning.
My advice is don’t use Expedia!

My wife and I arrived at the 4 star Eurostars Hotel International Palace for a 2 night stay in late April 2007. We were immediately impressed with the location of the hotel.
Right in the centre of Via Nazionale with a bus stop, Spar supermarket and Bar restaurant right across the road and great shops. The hotel itself is a plush affair with marble floors leading to the reception desk.
We were allocated a double room on the 4th floor and were very impressed on arrival. Clean modern decor, furnishings, and fittings. The room was air conditioned and spacious enough for our short stay. The bathroom, or rather shower room was equally well presented. Everything was provided for us including gowns, slippers and a full complement of toiletries. Nighttime was quiet and a good night’s rest assured.
The only downside to the room was perhaps the view outside, or rather lack of. Only an old courtyard cluttered with building materials could be seen.
Apparently the breakfast room/restaurant was unusable during the time of our stay. However, this was clearly noted at the reception desk and the management had made quite suitable arrangements for guests with the restaurant across the road.
Breakfast was a treat. Professionally served and very substantial. Aside from the usual fruit, egg, ham and cheese there was a whole range of pastries, cakes, bread, coffee, fruit juices, cereals etc.
Staff at the hotel were helpful enough with good English, Spanish, and Italian spoken by the receptionists. However, we never found ourselves having to ask for anything other than a map and directions in relation to the correct buses to get to the various tourist attractions.
Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. A grand style with all the amenities, but perhaps a little expensive at almost £200 prpn
Rome Itself was truly majestic. 3 days/2 nights certainly wasn't enough to see everything, but I can say that it was enjoyable enough for us to return again. Comparatively, a little more expensive than other Italian cities to visit, but well worth the extra money.
