Hotel is in a good location from which to explore Palma and it’s surrounds and it is close to the bus stop and No.3 bus runs frequently to and from Palma.


The room was fairly basic but clean and was cleaned daily, although it smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke despite being on non-smoking floor. We were lucky enough to have excellent sea views from our balcony.


Cala Major is a small town and was very quiet due to visiting in low season, the beach is sandy and was very clean.


The food in the hotel is not great, however we did get a really cheap deal, so felt that we got value for money.


I would recommend the hotel if you are fairly easy going and looking for somewhere cheap as a base, but it’s probably not for you if you want to be in the lap of luxury!

There were 6 of us aged 18 - 20 that went on this holiday, we were looking to be near Magalluf but wanted the best value for money we could find, I came across this hotel whilst browsing on Expedia, we decided to book it. and then the flights individually.



Everything went smooth we paid for 2 taxis between us which took us straight from the airport to Husa Zenith.



This hotel exceeded our expectations, the staff inside the hotel were very friendly and easy to get along with.

The rooms were adequate we had 3 people in each of the rooms, they were kept clean, were spacious and the bathrooms were top notch.



There was a tennis court, which we could play on paying a small fee for rental of rackets and balls. The swimming pool was great, always warm, there were plenty of sunbeds and the bar on the side of the pool was easily accessible. The prices of the drinks at this bar were very good. drinking besides the pool was a possibility.

The area of Cala Mayor was very quiet so we didn’t really bother going into the village area often. Although down the road there was an area, which included a massive hypermarket, arcades, pool tables, computer/internet/restraunts etc. We often went here on an afternoon.



There were local bars but they were ‘really local’ and there wasn’t much going on.



But saying this we enjoyed sitting in the bar and talking with the staff members, we had a very good laugh.

We also played alot of pool and cards in the bar area, the pool table was 1 euro ago but was to a good standard.

Most nights after the bar had closed we got 2 taxis between us into Magalluf so we could go out on a night. The taxis cost between 15 - 20 euros each way, which between us was around 10 - 12 euros each for a return. We went to the big club in Magalluf most nights and really enjoyed ourselves, the place was buzzing with people and the different themes that were available ensured we enjoyed ourselves every night.



Negatives - the hotel food was poor we had breakfast once and didn’t opt to use it again. instead we went to a reasonably priced restaurant down the road that did breakfast lunch and dinner. We generally used to use this for breakfast to get over our hangovers.



Would I venture there again? - possibly, but I think we would opt for accommodation inside Magalluf or Palma Nova.
