Domus Pacis Hotel Reviews

The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained the rooms were immaculate with a maid service every day.
This hotel has a very large restaurant and breakfast is included in your stay with other meals provided either pay cash or charged to your room.
The only down side to the hotel apart from the expensive bar prices is that the staff very rarely smile and the restaurant staff I found didn’t smile and were quite abrupt which was a shame as this is a good hotel.
Rome in itself is a fantastic place to visit although the graffiti and litter in the main towns spoiled it for me, when you visit places like the trevi fountain, coliseum, the Vatican and st peters square these make up for a lot they are spotless and an amazing site I highly recommend the tours at the coliseum they are only about 18 euros and last about 50min but you get another tour of the forum which is breathtaking and you can take that tour on the same day or a day of your choice no extra charge well worth the money.
A very serious word of warning though Rome is rife with pickpockets, scam merchants and beggars do not take a handbag if you can help it and wear backpacks on your front as the buses and metros have few seats and you are required to hold on to poles which gives the thief very easy opportunity to help himself as these are always very busy as I found out to my cost , when I mentioned this to other tourists everyone knew at least another couple of people that same thing happened too and it can be very time consuming trying to find a local police station so beware but overall it is a wonderful city to experience recommended as long as you are careful
