This hotel is situated about 10 min walk from the nearest town although travelling by bus is best as there are no pavements and the roads are very busy indeed, the bus stop is a 1min walk from the hotel and buses are frequent.
The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained the rooms were immaculate with a maid service every day.
This hotel has a very large restaurant and breakfast is included in your stay with other meals provided either pay cash or charged to your room.
The only down side to the hotel apart from the expensive bar prices is that the staff very rarely smile and the restaurant staff I found didn’t smile and were quite abrupt which was a shame as this is a good hotel.
Rome in itself is a fantastic place to visit although the graffiti and litter in the main towns spoiled it for me, when you visit places like the trevi fountain, coliseum, the Vatican and st peters square these make up for a lot they are spotless and an amazing site I highly recommend the tours at the coliseum they are only about 18 euros and last about 50min but you get another tour of the forum which is breathtaking and you can take that tour on the same day or a day of your choice no extra charge well worth the money.
A very serious word of warning though Rome is rife with pickpockets, scam merchants and beggars do not take a handbag if you can help it and wear backpacks on your front as the buses and metros have few seats and you are required to hold on to poles which gives the thief very easy opportunity to help himself as these are always very busy as I found out to my cost , when I mentioned this to other tourists everyone knew at least another couple of people that same thing happened too and it can be very time consuming trying to find a local police station so beware but overall it is a wonderful city to experience recommended as long as you are careful

We spent six days at this hotel as a base for touring the sights of Rome. The accomodation is set in four apartment blocks at the rear of the conference centre/hotel.Rooms are basic and relatively small with no views whatsoever.Breakfasts are excellent and the evening meal can be either taken on the ample sized terrace outside set in a garden and paved area or in the restaurant area of the conference centre. There is plenty of parking space available at the rear of the hotel.Staff are very helpful in assisting guests enquiring about navigating around Rome, the bus stop at the bottom of the hotel drive takes you direct to Cornelia Metro Station and then it is very easy to get around and back again, a combined bus/metro ticket for1,2,3 or 4 days purchased at the hotel bar is a cheap and inexpensive way of travelling each day.The hotel is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Rome but only twenty minutes away by Metro, so is ideal from that point of view.Staff will gladly arrange for a taxi when you leave for the airport at a set rate of 35 euros, an early morning call is also provided.
