The hotel was described on the hotel's website as being "within easy each of all the city landmarks", "can be reached on foot", this was not the case, it was within easy reach of the Trevi Fountain, but everywhere else was a long walk away, you would certainly need to get a metro to the Vatican from the hotel. It is also based in a very loud busy street, but the soundproof windows blocked out all the noise.
The hotel itself was lovely considering the cheap deal we got (£60 per night per room). It was spotless and although we only stayed 2 night, was cleaned thoroughly by the maids. The breakfast was cold buffet and basic but nice. We requested a balcony beforehand which we were not given but we were quite happy with the room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and if I was to go to Rome again it is likely I would book the Embassy.
