Corot Hotel

I took a last minute deal with a friend through expedia. We booked in October for 5 nights in Rome for £189 including flights and stayed at the Corot Hotel, located near the main Termini Station in Rome.
Rome was absolutely brilliant and it was a great time of year to travel. It was about 9oC and clear skies and there were no queues for anything. The Italians all thought it was freezing, but I'd say the weather was refreshing and I only needed a light jacket.
The Corot Hotel was in a great location near the station, located off a quiet side road. The rooms were a reasonable size with newly decorated bathrooms to a high standard. The hotel is quite basic, so do not expect luxury...but it was an excellent base and very comfortable and well presented.
Breakfast included and was a good continental style. Expect all the usual bread, pastries, cereal, cheese, meat etc. Dining room very presentable and all the staff were very friendly, efficient, and bi-lingual!
I'd definitely recommend this hotel!
