This hotel is worth a visit. The staff speak very good English and are courteous at all times. The room had a beautiful marble effect bathroom with a sun lamp. The bed was comfortable and the room came supplied with some fish in a tank to make you feel at home. There is a small lift or you can take the spiral staircase.
The staff are very attentive, every time we left the room they came in to refill the teabags and empty the bin. When we went out for evening they came in, folded the bed back and left us a sweet on the pillow. Breakfast was a buffet, hot food, cereals and wonderful pastries. You do not need a car for his hotel.
If you fly to Leonardo airport, it is a short walk to the train station, about 1/2 hour journey on the train to Termini and about 10-15 minute walk to this hotel. The hotel is a good location, close to all the attractions (longest walk is to the Vatican which is about 2 1/2 miles away).
It is close to shops and restaurants but sits down a side street away from the noise. Definitely lives up to its 4 star rating.

We stayed in July2007 with 3 kids, 12, 14 & 16.The hotel was in good location close to the main train/bus terminal. It was set back from the busy main roads so no noise.
The hotel is small and ran by very helpful staff. My room was a bit on the small size but kept very clean. There was little touches like sweets left on your pillow and fresh fruit in the hotel hall near our rooms which we took full advantage of!
Breakfast was very good too. If I went back to Rome I would stay there again and recommend it as a good place to stay while enjoying the sights. Dolce Vita!
