Panorama Hotel

We stayed here for one night in September, only wish we could have stayed for 10! Lovely rooms and the whole Lido de Venice was great, away from the bustle of Venice mainland but easily accessible. The staff were the best hotel staff we have ever come across, nothing was too much trouble. They even arranged better weather for us via St Peter!! Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel at all. We'll be back!

This is a wonderful little hotel. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us. Our room was lovely and very clean. It was one of the only places that we could get a quad room for our family. The continental breakfast was very good. Staying in Lido was a great way to go. The vaporetto is directly across the street is extremely easy to access, and runs every ten minutes to, and along the grand canal. The location is great. After a long day of travel, it was so nice to get off the boat and go right into the hotel. The staff were terrific and recommended good restaurants that were close. Room was small, but clean and quaint. I agree, the 3rd. floor air conditioning was terrible and would not do that again! You can rent bikes right behind the hotel and the beach was a welcome break from sightseeing. I would go back here!

The Panorama is pretty, clean, convenient, and very friendly, just as others have said here. But it also wins our loyalty for customer service. When a 24-hour ferry strike threatened our timely departure, not only did the hotel staff warn us about the strike, they willingly agreed to split the cost (after all, it wasn't their fault either) when we suddenly checked out an evening early, at 8 PM, to catch the last ferry. Stay here! Expect high prices anywhere in Venice, but here you get your money's worth. After taking the wrong vaporetto and winding up stranded at midnight on the wrong side of Venice, a phone call to the hotel quickly resulted in a taxi to take us to the dock. The bellman was actually on the street, waiving his hands to greet us. He quickly opened the bottle of wine we had and gave us some glasses to enjoy in our room's jacuzzi. After a distrastrous start to our holiday where our original hotel had double booked us we walked into the Panarama Hotel and were made very welcome. The staff were warm and friendly and our room overlooked the basin towards Venice. We will definately visit this hotel again.

Believe the reviews. Great hotel. V Friendly and convenient. At the Lido you get to see the real Venice not just tourist town. We really enjoyed the Vaporetto rides across to water for dinner every night. Panorama is very good value.

One of the best hotels i've ever stayed in. Rooms are big & clean, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The vaporetto stops just in front of the hotel. Only 10 minutes with the vapo to St. Marcs Square.

The Lido is a great option for a less expensive way to stay in Venice. We got room at the Hotel Panorama - a four star hotel, for what it would have cost us to stay in Venice at a two or three star hotel. Additionally, the water bus stop is right in front of this Lagoon side hotel. The room was very clean and large, with great beds. The bathroom didn't have a tub, but had a shower that you could easily shampoo your hair without bumping the sides. Breakfast was great. The hotel staffs are wonderful. They helped me get my visa to travel to Italy and arranged concert and train tickets for us. The breakfast was delicious. It is much better than what was provided from our 4 star hotel in Rome. Lido is a lovely town. Quiet and just 15 minutes to the city by water bus. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back again.
