Manin Hotel

We stayed in th Manin over a weekend in April and it was fantastic. Very clean and stylish. We loved the outdoor breakfast area which is the perfect way to start the day. The hotel is located in a great part of Venice, just down from the Rialto and close to all the main sites. There is a Vapperetto stop right next to the hotel and the Gondola service to the left which simply crosses the Grand canal for 50c!

We recently stayed at the Manin Hotel and were really pleased with it. The situation is ideal being on the Grand Canal at a water bus stop. We had a ground floor room which was beautifully decorated but rather dark and I would recommend if booking to request a room on the upper floors. The garden area is very pleasant and we enjoyed eating breakfast there.

We stayed here from May 26-29, for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and wanted somewhere special on the Grand Canal. Stayed in a Junior Suite on the first floor (104) which was lovely, with a view of the Rialto Bridge from our balcony. Lovely extra touches like dressing gowns and slippers added to the good vibes. It was also nice to have the vaparetto stop literally on your doorstep. Pleasant hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was just as we had hoped for, just 10 minutes walk to St Marco and the Rialto bridge and close to shops and restaurants. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (St Angelo) waterbus stop. The breakfast was nice. We had room 304 which was a junior suite and this room has its own private rooftop terrace and in our opinion made our holiday all that much more special. The hotel was very clean. Have just returned from the Manin and stayed in a room overlooking the Grand Canal - what a view. The hotel was fantastic and staff very friendly and helpful. The best thing was the location right at the boat stop - we only had to carry our bags for 10 seconds - a winner having seen others drag bags and look at maps wondering where their hotel was. A great find and a great hotel - cannot wait to get back.

My husband and I stayed here from March 19-22, 2005. We loved everything about this hotel. The rooms were large with king size beds and full size showers. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband particularly liked the breakfast (they had eggs and bacon - the only hotel during our 2 wk Italy vacation that had this). We stayed here in April 2004 and found this to be an excellent location only 10 mins walk to San Marco and the Rialto with a Vaporetti stop right outside. The room was small but clean, there are slippers & bathrobes available and a couple of English Language TV channels. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. A good place to stay in Venice to see all the sights but with peace and quite - the only complaint was that there was no bar in the hotel.

It was nice and clean and at a very convienent location, away from the noise, right next to vaporette stop.

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay at this hotel in Nov 2004. The staff are warm and welcoming, with good (though expensive) restaurant suggestions. A water bus stop runs right outside the hotel, and piazza san marco is only a 10 minutes away. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of item. The room was clean, exceedingly well decorated and spacious. I would stay here again without hesistation.

The Manin Hotel is a new hotel in Venice (less than two years old). After traveling throughout Italy for the month of September, our final stop was on a Monday night in Venice for three nights.
