We have been going to this hotel, for the last 5 years, and will be going back this year in August. All the staff are so helpful, especially Mr Nickolas [hotel manager]you want something he is only to happy to help. The entertainment is really good both for children and adults, day and night, there is no pressure if you dont want to join in.There are three pools, all kept nice and clean. The food is good ,plenty to choose from. There are local bars nearby The Station is good, and they have entertainment every night, plus they also have quite a few TV's for all you football fans. There are some supermarkets nearby also .The beach is just a short walk, and you can also walk along the sea front on the new boardwalk to Protaras, where there are many bars and shops.

excellent! staff really good, friendly and helpfull, food is unbelievable, absolutely first class. loads of choice to eat, excellent theme nights, the manager knows his job and does it to exceptionally high standard. going back in sept to get married! recommend tsokkos gardens to anyone. out of 14 times ive been to cyprus this is the best venue i have been to, there are some beautifull beaches and a lovely walkway along the sea front, plenty of activities to do on site and around the local villages.

Lovely hotel, lots to do in hotel rangeing from daytime quiz, pool games etc, no pressure to do these. Very clean rooms, surrounding gardens & pool areas. Many pools to choose from. Good range of quality food, well presented & all made fresh. Very pleasent staff, even had time to have conversation with friendly residents. Excellent entertainment provided by Thomas Cook staff (Elvis not up to much though). Short walk to Marlita beach where water sports are available & about 20 minute walk on new seafront boardwalk. Very laid back place to visit, livlier bars etc in main Protaras. Lots to do for families with small & older children, Protatas has something for everyone. Eating out in Protaras is reasonable, but drinks & snacks can eat away at you budget. Have booked again at this hotel for 2010, can't wait to go back.

i went to cyprus on the 18th august 2009 with my family for 2 weeks all inclusive, it was the best holiday i have ever been on with no problems what-so-ever! the staff were kind and friendly, always had a smile on their face and was always there to help. their was always a different food from a different culture every night an they was all very nice.the young entertainment people were great and always had something new and funny to say each day! they was also great with kids - we had to children with us on our stay both aged 12, and about 10 adults their because a close freind was getting married there. the entertainment staff were great with our children. when it come to the wedding date the hotel staff were great they kept bringing up more and more food then kept asking if we was alright and every think was goin well. there was lots of beaches nearby an the weather was great for them as well. the maids in the hotel changed our towels every two days and come in our room every morning after we went to breakfast so they could clean our rooms and make the beds.there are three pools one that is quiet shallow for youger children then there was just a average rectangle sized pool that was about just over 1 metre deep, then outside the hotel part there was a nice sized pool quiet shallow then a bridge then a bit deeper pool the same size then another bridge with another pool which is very deep compared to the other ones, the three pools which have bridges by them are all joint by the bridge which makes the pool extremely big and suitable for any age.near the deep part of the large pool is where you can get food like crisps, ice cream, drinks, burgers , chips, toasties and lots more aswell all at a small price unless your all in clusive. down by the shallow part of the big pool is where you can get drinks, ice cream and lots of other stuff too (this is the main bar).i think cyprus was a lovely holiday and so was the hotel. if we ever wanted to go out for the day we would just let the lovely reception woman know an she made us a lovely pack lunch to take with us which included sandwiches, drinks, fruit, and some other bits and bobs. i am definatley looking at going back to cyprus next year to the same hotel and i WILL be taking my children with me because i know the staff are lovely and my children will be in a safe enviroment with the staff and other children and their parents. i would recomend this hotel to anyone i know an people i dont know because of how nice this hotel and the area is.

My Husband, our two sons (aged 4 and 7) and I have just returned from 2 weeks All Inclusive staying at the Tsokkos Gardens Complex which is in Pernera, next door to Protaras. Protaras is only a 20 minute walk away along the new seafront path (suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs) which has been completed this year. This complex consists of a Hotel and an Apartment block, which is next door. Both have their own pools but the main Entertainment and all meals are held in the Hotel (which takes you less than 2 minutes to walk to).
The Hotel is very clean, with regular maid service and friendly staff. We were placed in the Apartment block which meant we had a self contained flat to ourselves rather than having a hotel room with 4 beds crammed in. The Apartment was spacious with a fridge, microwave, cooking facilities, TV (only 1 english channel) and hairdryer. We had a bedroom with 2 large single beds put together to make a queen size bed and in the front room there was a sofa with a pull out bed underneath. We have stayed in Cyprus a number of times now and would recommend any of the Tsokkos hotels as they are all family run and they know exactly what the English like. We stayed all Inclusive which was ideal for us. Breakfast was served from 7am-10am, snacks were available from the poolside bar from 10.30am until 5pm, lunch was at 12.30pm-2.30pm and evening meal (various theme nights and vegetarian meals on request) was served from 6.30pm-9.30pm. You could request a packed lunch if you were going out for the day and hire a cool box. Also you could have unlimited hot, soft and local alcoholic drinks from 10am til midnight and unlimited icecreams for the children during the same time.
There were 3 swimming pools to choose from. The largest one being based outside the Hotel which had the daytime activities around, a medium sized one outside the Apartment blocks which was quieter and another outside the Sun Apartment which was next door but easily accessible. The daytime activities started at 10am with a game (ie darts, pool, boules), 11am was Water Aerobics and 12 noon was quiz time around the pool. There was then a break with another 2 activities in the afternoon (ie water polo and water volleyball).
The evening entertainment started at 8pm with Childrens disco and games, followed by bingo (very funny and well worth taking part, the prize each night was €20 line and over €150 full house)and then at 10pm there was a show. The Entertainment Team (Rich, Meg, Cat and Em) totally made our holiday as their shows were fantastic. The best shows while we were there was New Years Eve 1989! and Follow the Yellow Brick road, their version of what would happen to Dorothy if she got lost on the Yellow Brick Road and bumped into James Bond, The Blues Brothers and Grease!!! The best part is that all the Entertainment on the complex finishes at midnight so it is quiet enough to get to sleep ready for another fun packed day. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone (or any of the Tsokkos Hotels) and I am already looking at booking again.

we arrived on the 28th oct half term for the kids unfortunatly the weather was terrible it rained thundered and lightned al of our weeks stay so we had to spend alot of time in hotel. the room is a nice clean room but only big enough for 2 people 3 would be over crowded, the entertainment is a bit lame but kids seem to enjoy it food was very nice and quite a good choice and it was mostly hot only the odd thing not quite hot enough, plenty of room round the pools and all kept clean staff were friendly except for the odd one but a bit over eager to take your plate before you had finished your meal had to retrieve mine a couple of times , my only complaint would be the fact that because this was the last week of being open they were packing things up around us so makiing us feel a little unwelcome , i found cyprus very expensive so would not return in a hurry but if i ever did i would consider this hotel again ,

just back from tsokkos gardens,we had a fantastic break in a well organised hotel.the staff were very helpful and friendly, pools were great and no problem getting sunbeds.the entertainment team were just brilliant, great shows and games round the pool, water polo got very competative sometimes but great to watch and participate in,volley ball and keep fit in the pool was good fun, quizzes a plenty with certificates presented for winners, lots of other things to do for kids and adults alike. try to get that superstar t shirt, its well sought after.cat, emma, megan and rich you did a fantastic job and your employers should be proud of you all.very well done and thanks for everything. food was very nice, well prepared and laid out, nickolas the restaurant manager was very friendly and helpful as was all the staff.we had an apartment that was very spacious and plenty of cupboards drawers etc.all in all we had a fantastic time and would definately recommend this hotel to anyone.try to go all inclusive as many people upgraded because prices were so dear.you wont be sorry.

well we stayed at the skokkos gardens apartments, but was all inclusive at the hotel, which was a 10 second walk. The meals were very nice, breakfast was a bit repetative but still nicely cooked. Much selection for lunch different everyday, nicely layed out with different sauces etc, Dinners were lavish, always a meat and salads and other things, and a kids corner for the young ones.
the all inclusive is definataly better than half board, it is very expensive. 2.40 for a cup of lemonade.
the pool was very nice, we didn't have to get up eearly at all to get a sunbed, there was 3 pools to sunbathe around,so there was plenty of room.
There was alot to do in the day, things invlolving all ages. The night entertainment was the best we've ever seen rich;kat;emma;meg- the kids disco was so fun to watch, even without a kid doing it. The shows were very entertaining. They also had professional people coming to perform too. The bingo was amazing, prizes ranged from $250 - $300 every night!. there was things inside for the children like computers, snooker, touch machines. The drinks were served very quickly. There was no dirt and things, there was also waiters so you didn't have to get up for a drink if you really didn't want to.
OVERALL, this was the best holiday we've ever been on, and it was only **** and we've stayed in *****+ ; i recommend this if you are looking for a cheap, fun, disco holiday as everyone was always dancing on the stage, and they had a hotel dance which everyone joined into. very entertaing.
hope this helps.

This was our 2nd year to Tsokkos Gardens and hopefully we will be going again next year.
Couldn't fault it at all. Was pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms have had a bit of a make over, floors now tiled or laminate flooring down and the bathrooms basin area have been updated.
Foods good as usually. I don't now how people can say its ok and warm/cold, perhaps they meant the salad!!
So much to choose from, spolit for choice, we were all inclusive(first time)
Entertainment was good especially the party rock athem dance at the end lol.
Roll on next year whoop whoop.
