Had a very good holiday, staff and games team very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and well run. Nothing was to much trouble for any of them.Parts of the Hotel needs some T L C but this did not spoil the holiday in any way. If not on the fully inclusive deal the hotel prices were very expensive. Entertainment in the evening was very basic, not worth staying in the Hotelfor.Food was ok but very similar every day.

Disgusting is not the word ---dont get me wrong good looking hotel impressive foyer and rooms were spacious BUT we have stayed at many hotels through out the world never never have I been charged for the use of the bar fridge [ 2 euro a day} and the use of the safe in the room [ 2.50 euro a day ] On the principle of the matter this spoilt my holiday .
Quality of food also very poor---the Tsokos group of hotels need to improve greatly and not to be pulling the wool over the English tourists as they are.

me, my husband and nine month old daughter just returned from cyprus where we had a fantastic holiday in this family friendly resort.
the hotel is perfectly situated on the beach which is the only sea ive been in where the water was warm! the pool area is large with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, but drinks and snacks are very expensive, a lolly ice is nearly four euros are so are the drinks so stock up in the local super market for the day before you get by the pool.
all the staff are very friendly and the entertainment crew keep you going all day with lots of games and quizzes.
the hotel itself is in need of a refurb, the rooms are ok and kept clean but the bathroom is basic to say the least for a 5 star hotel. there are only two small lifts for such a big hotel and if you have a pram its a tight sqeeze so your constantly waiting for a free lift.
the ramp outside the hotel for pram access is very steep, i slipped down it twice and it reminded me of the travelater in gladiators trying to get up it! there is a staff entrance to the side which was a lot easier to manage.
the food was basic but ok but it was a pain for my husband to get changed in and out of pants all the time. if you go half board you can exchange your evening meal for a lunch meal at reception which we did a few times and ate out in the night.
overall the hotel was good but could improve with a few changes.

I have just got back from a fantastic holiday staying at the Constantinos, the hotel has an excellent location on the beach, the sunbeds are plentiful we got out at around 9.30 a.m and still plenty to choose from around the gardens and edge of beach. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food was great always plenty of choice for breakfast with full English, a range of cereals fruit, yogurts, bread/rolls, cakes/pastries plus a chef who will cook you an omlette or pancake with various toppings. Evening meals were also great this takes place in a seperate dining room again with a good range of salads, hot food, bread, a carvery, childrens food and a good selection of sweets, fruit and ice cream, the food was replaced regular so they never ran out if you prefer to eat later. The bedrooms were really spacious compared to the Capo Bay were i stayed last year but as someone else said the beds were a little hard but yes you do get used to them. It was the first time I have stayed at this hotel and loved every minute of it, I would definatley go back and would recommend.

Visited this hotel August 2007, 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 3. This hotel was advertised as a 5* but I definately found this not to be the case. The room was definately a poor 3* standard. Bunk beds were provided which had fallen apart and had been fixed together using offcuts of laminate flooring. The room wasnt the cleanest of rooms and the bathroom was also to a poor standared. The air conditioning was also poor and it felt almost as hot in the room as it did outside. Location was superb and food was ok but not to 5* standard. I certainly would not recommed this hotel to anyone unless it was regraded to a 3*

We stayed at Constantinos for our honeymoon and we were overall quite impressed. It is a fab location right on the beach. The hotel was clean and fairly well decorated.
We were half board and really disappointed with the evening meal as the majority of food was very salty and the mixes of food were unusual. We were unaware that men had to wear full length trousers (NO THREE QUARTER TROUSERS) and shoes or trainers (no flipflops) to the restaurant for evening meals causing some inconvenience as we had to buy trousers.
The pool area was lovely although one issue was that there were not enough sunbeds, finding that we were having to wake up at 7am to put towels on beds.
Mostly we had a fantastic time and would visit constantinos again.

We stayed here at the end of July 2008, the hotel and location is very impressive.
We Travelled with Thomas Cook, and found the reps only interested if you booked the trips, the whole rep service was very poor.
The rooms are clean and tidy, but a little small if like us you are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We were prepared for this as we had read all the reviews, as you don;t spend that much time in your hotel it did not concern us that much.
Food was plentyfull and always a lot of choice, even for fussy eaters.
Childrens enterainment was great my daughter had her 5th birthday whilst we where there and they organised her a birthday party, Big Lou was fantastic with the kids as where Sammy and Angie.
The hotel Management are fantastic, they organised our wedding reception for us, which was a dream come true.
The only negative for us was the aircon in the resturant was a little poor, when you check out you cannot then use the all inclusive, if you have an evening flight and check out at 12 you cannot then eat or get drinks. So delay in checking out until the last minute.

Before my partner and I went to stay at Constantinos the Great Hotel we were quite concerned after some reports we had read...but lukily they were nothing to worry about!! We have just returned and we had the most fantastic holiday. The hotel itself is really clean and well maintained. Unfortunately there was one problem, our beds in our room! We must admit they are certainly not to a 5* quality, they are like sleeping on bricks, but don't worry too much as you do get used to them! Both our room was cleaned and clean towels were replaced daily. We stayed on half board basis, although we changed our evening meal to lunch as my partner wasn't allowed into the hotel restaurant as he was wearing 3/4 length trousers - quite annoying (who takes full length trousers if you are going on a holiday with hot weather) and sexist really as they were allowing women in with 3/4 length trousers!!! So be warned if you are going half board take full length trousers! Apart from that our meals were nice, plenty to chose from and the food was hot! The pool was nice and clean and there was plenty of sunbeds which was good. There was a variety of entertainment during the day and on an evening. ** We would highly recommend that you purchase the key for the fridge in your room** it costs 2 euros a day but it saves you money in the long run as you can buy large bottles of water to keep cool, instead of buying small bottles from the hotel bar which are expensive! We did notice that somebody had commented about the air conditioning not working - we had no problem whatsoever with ours, it worked properly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend staying here, if you have never been to Protaras before we would also recommend that you visit Fig Tree Bay - beautiful beach and sea.

First of all ignore all the poor ratings, is an absolutely great hotel. As i am used to 3/4 star hotels this is much better! service is great the waiters and stuff can't do enough for you. location; just down a 20 metre road off the strip and not loud - definately the best hotel in Protaras and the locals knew that. on a beautiful beach which is private and not packed, only 1 tiny tiny problem was the kids club (how selfish i know) but every single day in the pool was just funny with the same songs over and over again.
staff were really great food was fantastic huge range even on themed nights. funny thing was as soon as you put your knife and fork down they took it straight away I think we counted 10 or 11 seconds once but they were brilliant! great for families with young children or teenagers and even older couples or younger couples as there was plenty there.
I was 17 at the time with my twin sister and parents and we enjoyed it and got a great tan!!! :p

We've just returned from this hotel from a weeks break. The location is lovely, the hotel beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a half board package, which is something we don't normally do. We prefer bed and breakfast but the food was excellent and the choices, both in the evening and breakfast, were very very good. What we hadn't realised though was this hotel also offers all inclusive. The only disappointment for us was that we were paying for drinks at the same bar the all inclusive guests were getting their drinks. Everybody knows all inc. drinks are watered down and so we were slightly put out that we were paying for the same watered down drinks. The lager was flat and my gin and tonic was tasteless so we opted to drink out locally instead which was cheaper anyway.
