Wonderful! This hotel has a stunning view of the sea and countryside, friendly staff, good entertainment during the day & at night - especially for children and families.
There was plenty to do if you didn't want to sunbathe all day - swimming in either of the three pools, tennis, ping-pong, snooker, games, football, darts, basketball, and even archery!
Most of the people I met at the Hotel were incredibly lovely; especially the fellow English people - who had come to this hotel for the first time -were very chatty and friendly.
This hotel is perfect for people looking for a relaxing, chilled out holiday as it is in quiet area, however, if you do want to venture out, it is only a pleasant 20 minutes walk in to Portinatx Town where you will find three sandy beaches, shops and a few good (English themed) bars, namely Vincent’s and Delboys.
The food was delicious and quite varied every day. I'm vegetarian and there was plenty.
I loved snorkelling in the sea & jumping off the tall rocks at the bottom of the hotel's rocky beach.
I would recommend this Hotel to families, friends and to couples.

We arrived at 10.30 am after travelling from 11.30pm the night before, only to be told our rooms not ready. We finally got our rooms at 4.30pm.
We could not get anything to eat until 1pm. The man on reception was very rude, he side he felt intimidated by us because we are english. Bar staff very rude.
The food not itemised has I have type1 diabetes, I need to know what I am eating. If not in early for meals no forks knives or plates.
The reps were no use what so ever. We rang the rang the help line but they where no help.

I have to say I hated this hotel and we moved within 2 days, which was far too long to stay there.
The staff couldn’t speak much English and were not helpful at all; they wanted my little girl to sleep on the hard 2 seater chair.
The restaurant was terrible due to the fact that none of the food was labelled, and the food was horrible, we had no idea what it was and it never look nice.
We asked for milk for my daughter and was told no so we had to walk miles for some milk and would have had to do this every day.
The Reps were rarely present and even when they were available, they were unhelpful, and the supervisor wouldn’t even come to the hotel to speak to us.
The pool and pool area was so dirty you didn’t want to be there, the children’s play area was not fit for children.
The views were really nice overlooking the sea but it wasn’t enough to stay there for 9 days.
The beach was rocks not sand and was a drop down to it so it wasn’t safe for kids, the amount of stairs there was mad, stairs down to the pool stairs to the bar stairs to reception and more stairs to dinner no good for a pushchair.
We simply hated this hotel and demanded transfer, we did get one but we had to pay £120 to move the new hotel was very nice and did make up for it a bit, but we are not happy with Thomas cook as they knew about the hotel before we got there. And are still getting complaints.

Just arrived back from my seven night holiday with my mum, sister and best friend. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the vista Bahia.
Reception:
When we first arrived at the hotel, after an hour’s journey from the airport, we had a problem with our rooms. Unfortunately we had been given the impression that we had booked two apartments, one for me and my friend and the other for my mum and younger sister; however we were put into one spacious apartment and found plenty of space.
When we wanted to report and talk about our new accommodation to the rep they were nowhere to be found, and we were told they wouldn't be around for another 4 hours, so we had to wait without a room until they arrived and then they disappeared for four days!
Luckily one extremely helpful receptionist who came from Spain allowed us full use of the bar and meal facilities that kept us busy until the rep arrived. We were very thankful.
I would rate our reception a 4/10.
Accommodation:
Well after the debate at the reception we settled into our lovely room and unpacked. The furniture was clean and new. Beds were newly made and kept fresh and I am very disturbed to see people complaining about the maids.
They were extremely helpful and friendly and kept our room clean. And it was indicated that when you wished your towels to be changed where to put them.
Over all I would give our accommodation a beaming 9/10!
Bar:
What can I say the barmen and women made my day! I've never met more pleasant people! Eager to serve children during the day, burgers, hotdogs, and sandwiches were served constantly! All were open to conversation all had lovely personalities and made me laugh.
Even at night when the bar got busy they served fairly, Drinks were served in plastic containers a brilliant idea so you could take your beverage to your sunbeds bins were located frequently and easily accessible.
However I thought the bar staff were spot on and I would go back just because of that! A massive 10/10 for bar staff! (20/10 if possible!)
Food:
Mmm! Deeee-lish! A huge rang of fantastic Spanish foods and chips for those who prefer something a bit more plainly. If you were lucky enough to try the paella wow-eee!! Full of juicy, fresh melt-in-your-mouth prawns and crab, it was an amazing experience to get to try a Spanish favourite! However I thoroughly enjoyed the apples seeing as the cakes and sweets disappeared within a couple of seconds!
Entertainment / Kids club:
The friendly staff kept smaller children busy during the day if they were not dive bombing the pool! Very child friendly complex with activities through they day some off the top of my head would be archery, football, tennis, darts, ping-pong, water-polo, rifle shooting (16+), basketball and for those early birds morning aerobics!
So if we were not sun bathing and enjoying the stunning views or up at the bar playing pool or darts we certainly had something to do and were not bored! Entertainment at night was lively and exciting with a capital E!
One night it was Spanish dancers which was a once-in-a-life time opportunity which I was lucky enough to get a chance to take part in myself to Brazilian dancers which had us on our feet dancing round the hall shakin those bums!
There was also a mini disco after dinner which had all the children up on the stage! (And yes before you ask I was up doing the cha-cha slide with everyone else!!!)
Btw incase you were wondering I am only a teenager and managed to get over the small diversities that arose during our holiday.
Over all I extremely enjoyed my holiday and would go back at a drop of a heart!

We really hated this hotel. It was situated on a cliff, not on top of a cliff. Due to the location it felt like we were climbing up a mountain.
The only positive part was the view from our room (which was the sea) the weather was pleasant. That’s why I rated it two out of ten.
The reception staff were really unhelpful, none of them spoke English, and so they couldn't understand what we were trying to tell them. We had to wait ages to just talk to Reception.
The Reps were rarely present when we needed them the most, and even when they were available, they were unhelpful.
The location of our room caused a family member an injury whilst falling on the way to the room.
The location was in a really quiet area, and we did nothing for the first two days, it was not fun.
The pool was constantly dirty as there were trees above the pool that branches fell into the pool, and the pool was not cleaned.
The restaurant was terrible due to the fact that none of the food was labelled. Three of our family members are strict veggies and one family member has an allergy, one member of the family thought she was having an onion ring, and it turned out to be a squid ring! This was an easy mistake as she couldn't tell. It should've been labelled.
The ''beach'' was not a proper beach. There was easy access but the beach was just rocks, and didn't appear very beachy.
On the first night we stayed, the entertainment was pathetic. Some people didn't want to join the entertainment, but she kept going round and annoying them.
We simply hated this hotel and demanded transfer. It took a few days just to get out of there, and here's the sad part, we had to pay! Even though we had paid a lot of money to stay there.
The second hotel was much more pleasant, everything was the complete opposite. We had a great time after we left Vista Bahia. We were upset as two days were wasted.
We got a great tan, as the weather was really hot and clear-skied.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views. The food was excellent plenty of variety and plenty of it, and the rooms also appear to have been refurbished recently and are very fresh clean looking
That’s the good bits over with.
Let’s start with reception on arrival and through the week, rude, arrogant, ignorant, and generally unhelpful.
Bar staff were generally the same if not worse. Possibly due to the fact that most of the staff spoke Spanish, German and French And no English at all.
Ok I know what you are thinking but I’m in there country. I should speak their language. Well I try, I know my please and thank you’s and some bits to order drinks and food, but even this was being ignored. All the staff were more interested in helping the other guests (French and German).
It was about half way through the week when we found out that this is the first season for Thomas cook and English guests in this hotel.
There was a maid service everyday to sweep the floor make the beds, change the towels. But she wouldn’t change the bed linen just make the bed. She only change the bed linen when we stripped the bed and left the linen on the floor by the door.
The general cleanliness of the complex was poor. Most bins dotted around the complex, and there were lots of them, were full overflowing and like that for two to three days before being emptied.
The pool area was only cleaned once during the week we were there. Most mornings you would find the sun bed’s stacked up in piles and the umbrellas neatly stacked but that was it. The plastic glasses that you had to drink out of were either overflowing the bins or left in piles everywhere.
This is supposed to be a three star hotel they make you drink out of plastic glasses in the restaurant in the bar area in the entertainment lounge. The only time you were allowed to have a glass to drink out of was after 11pm at night when the free drinks stopped and you paid for your drinks then you were given your drink in a glass.
Even coffee during the day, you would get it in a transport cafe style polystyrene cup.
And don’t even try and ask for an ashtray to put you cigarettes out or flick your ash into. The barman gestured me in a very harsh manner to go and use the flowerbed outside the bar area on the terrace to put my cigarette out.
When I saw the flower beds around the bar terrace it was vile cigarettes everywhere. It stayed like that and is probably still like that.
And a closing note, I’m not a moaner or a winger, I just got on with my holiday. But I had a very bad encounter with an Internet holiday company last year so I went with high street branded company. Thinking if there are problems there will be a rep on hand to sort it out.
If I did want to moan or complain I didn’t see our rep at the hotel until the day we were leaving. Then the response was well I can’t do anything for you here in Ibiza you will have to file a complaint when you get back.
Other guests during the week who had managed to catch up with her said she was as good as useless.

The views were stunning but there was no beach only rocks by the hotel.
The playground advertised in the brochure was tiny and only suitable for under 3's.
When we arrived out room was not ready and the bed linen was not changed at all during our 2 week stay.
The hotel entertainment staff were useless at daytime and evening. We had four evenings of Bingo and you had to pay for a ticket!
The choice of food for children was poor. The hotel staff were overworked but I don't think this excuses their attitude. No hotel management were never available to sort out complaints.
The choice of local alcohol under the all inclusive option was very limited - the local Baileys ran out after 3 days and never reappeared for the rest of our stay.
The snacks comprised of Hot dog, Hamburger, or toasted sandwich which were microwaved and sometimes still frozen in the middle. Availability stopped at 7pm.
There was no souvenir shop, as stated in the brochure - in fact you couldn't buy anything! (Other than drinks after 11.00pm).
I could go on but suffice to say we are very disappointed with Thomas Cook.
