We have just returned from a week’s full inclusive holiday at this hotel.
Good points: Food, drinks, service, entertainment, location, pool.
Bad points: Room decor, ineffective air conditioning.
Overall a fun place to stay. My wife, myself and my 15 year old daughter had a great time. The rooms are quite dated and need refurbishment. However, since everything else was so good this did not affect our overall holiday enjoyment.

On the whole we had a fantstic holiday. The Hotel and pool all in all were very clean yet the rooms were quite dated and we were a little cramped as we had to have a travel cot and camp bed in there as well as the double bed.
The entertainment from Matt and Michelle was excelent for the children they also invloved the adults which made the children enjoy it even more. The different entertainment that was provided when it was the reps nights off was very poor that bad we got up and went for a walk round to other bars in protaras.
The food was ok but very repetative and we found it hard to make a up a full meal.
We did eat out a few times and the restraunts we went to in the area were excellent.
We would definetly stay at this hotel again and hopefully by this time it will have had a little re vamp that is much needed .

I went to this hotel for 2 weeks and didn't want to leave. I went on holiday with my mum,dad and big sister Heather. The entertainers : Mat Flat-battery (matt) and Michell where really nice!! I made lots of friends there and the games room was cool. The pool was really big and i was in it al dayyyy !!!! The food is OK no good if your a vegitarian though. Ice cream was nice !! The entertainment was boring but i loved the song " cartoon hearoes" and went up and danced wth alot of other kids. I recomend going on the dolphin submerine and deffinitley jump of the boat into the sea !!!! i want to go back next year !!! best holiday ever

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Tsokkos Beach. There was entertainment all day and night by the fantastic Reps Matt and Michelle they worked extremley hard throughout made everyone feel really welcome. The pool side was lovely very spacious (bit slipperly at terrace bar so be careful) Staff very friendly and helpful, food was excellent both in restuarant and pool side bar service very good. Rooms cleaned every day sheets and towels changed every other day. Hotel very clean although rooms little dated but you only sleep and shower in there so that was OK. Shops beach and bars all on doorstep, water sports at beach was good. We had a great time would definatly recommend to anyone already booked for next year, Hope Matt and Michelle are still there to carry on with the cartoon heros!!

MATT & MICHELLE are great entertainers for kids and adults alike. We returned to this hotel after visting it in 2006 and have to say some standards have slipped. If your planning on eating in the restuarant be prepared to perspire alot due to no air con which did receive many complaints. The bar & restuarant staff were friendly and helpful. Pool area nice and clean, enough sunbeds for everyone. Hotel is set in a good location with beach two mins away with plenty of water sports for adults & kids alike. Bars & shops just up the road with enough to keep all the family entertained.
Overall a great holiday had by all but unsure if we would return to this hotel.

Just arrived back from a great holiday! 12 of us went, ages ranging from 3-60 and everyone loved it. The entertainment was brilliant throughout the whole day, Matt & Michelle did not stop (even in the intense heat). They were so good with my children & took time to come and chat with everybody, it's the best hotel for entertainment that i've ever been to. Food was ok, it was better from the pool bar but McDonalds is only up the road so you're not going to starve!! going back next year to get married & may evan have the cartoon hero's tune to be my first dance ha ha.

I've just returned from this hotel, and i had a fantastic time. The Thomas cook entertainers Matt and Michelle were excellent, they did so much for everyone of all ages. I'm 17 and went all inclusive with my friend and her family and we all had a brilliant time.
The rooms were ok, fully airconed with lovely on-suite bathroom, the beds were comfortable and the view from the balcony was lovely.
The food was lovely, there was a lot of choice, especially for breakfast.
The area in which the hotel is situated is very nice, right near the town, souvenir shops, may bars and of course Mcdonalds!
The hotel's pool is very nice, very big. The staff are very friendly and help you ou with any queries.
Overall we had a fantastic time and would deffinately return to this hotel again

firstly, hotel good location 2 min from beach, shops.
there is no kids club here, a huge dissapointment for our 9 year old girl, they have a kids hour between 2-3, thats it.
we always go all inclusive and this is the worst food we have ever had, it was terrible,
rooms dated, no air con in reception. evening entertainment a joke.
we would never come back to this hotel again because of the food, thats how bad it was.

Returned on Monday 21st July from this hotel, my views are:
Hotel- Clean and Comfortable, room a little small, camp bed really uncomfortable, cleaned daily. could be better if they updated the dining room and the sunloungers.
Food- Breakfast great, loads of choice, Dinner not that great but ok.
Pool- Great pool area, one of the best around the other hotels.
Entertainment- good in the daytime, not all that of a night, i do think it depends on the rep, our one (no names) was not that good, we had a man cover for her one day and he was much better.
All in all had a good time, the hotel is more a 3* than a 4*, good resort, lots of places to go, the italian (began with C) across the road from macdonalds was the best food we had, was lovely!!
Chinese at the end of the strip was rubbish!
Would not go back to the same hotel as i never would, but it really was fine, would go back to Protaras again in a few years after visiting some other places first.

What can I say. The Tsokkos Beach Hotel reminded me of Spain and Majorca 25 years ago! The rooms were dated with not enough cupboard space. Tired wallpaper and bed covers with worn floor mats. NOT 4 STAR in anybodies book. The main reception area was 80s like, however my main gripe was the awful food. It was the first time I had been HB and I have never seen anything like it. I dont like to guess what I am eating and after 2 days it began to drag me down, I could eat no more. Mini hot dogs everyday, some but never enough pizza burnt and various pastas of dubious quality. The food became an in joke in the hotel and various guests could be heard saying " i am away in for my fillet steak sandwich or lobster"
The outdoor pool area was excellent and right beside the beach. The resort itself is ok i suppose however you could be anywhere in the world. I would not return to Cyprus as Spain or Majorca is only 2 1/2 hours away and much cheaper with better quality food and beer. DONT DO IT FOLKS

Just returned from this hotel in august...really the only thing what let it down was the food..hotel rooms absolutely lovely we were located on ground floor and had a massive terrace balcony...air con was good but no ceiling fans which might have helped however we did go in august and it was 38+..room was cleaned every day and clean towels.cleaners were even nice..pool area gorgeous.lots of sunbeds and yes peolpe do go down about 745 to put towels on bed..staff in bar area and reception very friendly and enetrtainers good..entertainment on all day mid day quiz etc..nightime entertainment not up 2 much and seemed to finish early..drinks brill.lager(carlsberg and kea) kea not nice..cocktails wine was also nice pop and icecream available..breakfast gorgeous lots of selection however the birds used to fly in and eat bread while u were sitting indoors this is.. pool snacks better than main meal at dinnertime and nightime..not much selction of food and if something was nice there was nothing to go with it..kids selection aint good fishfingers? rice? burnt pizza? and they didnt do chips everyday in restarant just selected days..we ate out alot mcdonalds and italians..overall loved the holiday loved the hotel but would consider just going half board next time-its in an ideal place..2 mins fom beach and shops bars and restaurants.....enjoy!
