We are normally pretty laid back and not ones to complain but this was an exception - please read do not be put off by the length of it...you need to know!

If you are looking for a noisy, drunken, sleepless holiday where anything goes, this is the IDEAL hotel. Pool is great if you like splashing around in dirty water. The pool was chemically cleaned once in the fortnight I was there. If you like lax couldn't care less... more

On the plus side the location was lovely, San Antonio Bay is beautiful. and there are numerous excellent bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. However for this hotel to be classified as a 4 Star is beyond belief, I cannot believe it was ever worth... more

when we arrived at the hotel we saw that it was FULL of people.. we arrived at like..lunch time.. so we were assuming it was possibly because of this ?..but it got worse xD... i seem to remember hardly being able to move around in the lobby without having to squeeze past... more

Average Hotel from Mimocuja
A twice yearly visitor, as I am to Ibiza, this was my 2nd stay at this average hotel. On arrival, we were given a grotty room at the back of the hotel, (having requested a Seaview some weeks prior), however, after pointing this out a Seaview room was provided and was very nice. (Without this you are missing out)! This hotel caters for all ages, but it might be best to stay elsewhere if you like comfort and quietness, as this hotel is promoted for the partygoers also, and being woken up at 4/5am every night is not everyone's cup of tea. The views are superb (Seaview only), and you can catch a boat (2 Euro's) into nearby San Antonio town every 30 mins from outside the Hotel. Its a 30 min walk otherwise. The staff could do with perking up a little, or even smiling on occasion, whcih would be nice, but don't expect much rapport with them,(maybe unemployment looms)? This hotel is plagued with young 'Reps' on a daily basis, who's main interests are beer, sex and selling you over priced excursions (don't bother - do it yourself)! Our rep on catching her attention, replied with 'WHAT'. I didn't bother her after that and avoided her wherever possible. All that said, I had a good time, but would'nt stay here again (perhaps I'm getting to old for it now at 35)? I am reliably informed that the S'Estanyol has been sold and will be transformed into apartments over the next 12/18 months so be warned! A much nicer hotel, just further up the beach, is the 'Arenal', overall better and suited to the 35's and over

The hotel was a bit pre-dated but totally full of fun!!!! I couldnt have meet more nicer people, every1 was friendly and really helpfully. The Hotel falls out onto the beach at the bay, even more fun when you have a front facing ballcony! Millions of sun, cheap booze and amazing clubs. Ola to all my mates out there hopefully be joying you's yet again next year, mwahxxx Francescaxxx

Great hotel - Good Food - Good Staff - Great Location. Rooms/Public Areas abit old fashioned (Great if you like 70's decor). All in all amazing holiday - so much so Just booked again for Aug this year (05) - see you there then!!! Ben Chambers

This was a wicked hotel to go with a wicked holiday. Me and the girls came to this hotel and had the best holiday so far. The staff were really cool and looked after us, the entertainment was good, Location was fab - rolled out of the hotel on to the beach every afternoon with the tunes pumping for next night out. Everyone who stayed there was really lovely aswell we got on so well. And yes it not the ritz but who can relax and feel normal in ritz anyway. So if your lively and want to party till the sun rises in the morning and then chill all day then this is the place to be!!

cheap but cheerful accomodation. However the location is the winner for this one. right on the beach facing the bay, top tunes on in the afternoon to get you ready for the nights action. what better way to start your night than a water taxi to san an for the sunsets? And for the day after? Simply roll out of bed onto the beach with some of the best people you'll meet on the island! See you there sept 05!

stayed here july 04 had a great time perfect location not in the thick of it during the day and could get water taxi (only 2 euros) or taxi to west end.entertainment on every night also happy hour very close to shops restaurants and the ever valuable cash machine and plenty of phones. ideally situated right on a beach which was small but perfect.would definately go back there. rooms were basic but cheap as chips and also had maid service everyday.you can also buy discount tickets for all the clubs there cheaper than west end .would definately recommend.however must confess never made it to breakfast as only got in at 7ish

I've just come back from a two week stay in this hotel. On the downside: The hotel looks like it hasn't been decorated since the 70's and there isn't any air con in the rooms (it gets very hot!). On the plus side: The rooms are a good size, and everywhere is very clean. The breakfasts are really good; massive selection and tasty. The staff are friendly and there is a 24 hr reception. Maid service everyday, clean towels and bedding etc. The location is fantastic; best in the Bay. You walk out the door straight onto the beach; which is clean and lovely to sunbathe on. The pool is very small but as the sea is so lovely you wouldn't want to use the pool anyway! Its close enough to walk to San An, (if you are reasonably fit, aprox 25 mins) with lots of bars and resturants near by. Its far enough away to actually get away from the noise when you want to get some sleep. There is a DJ playing all day while you chill out and entertainment at night to watch before you go out. I would highly recommend paying extra for a sea view. Its well worth the money, fantastic view of the Bay and San An and you wake up to the sound of the sea. I will definately be going back!

Me and a few friends stayed here a couple of years ago. Accommodation is basis but clean and comfortable. Hotel is right on the beach so very handy for sunbathing (pool is quite small so theres not too much room around it) and its just a short walk from the main pubs - or theres a taxi boat over if you are feeling lazy! All in all i would go back here again

I have to disagree with Chris. This place isn't a dump, it just needs a lick of paint and a few more fans! The staff are friendly and helpful and the Hotel is close to the clubs, pubs and beaches. Will defintley be going back!

the hotel is a bit of a dump, but its good party life around the hotel and beach. loads of water sports for the day but sadly, no air con in room for the nite, so you end up sweating your bolloxs off.. ended up moving my mattress to the balcony to cool off until i climatiesed. In summary, if you want a cheap place to stay with not alot of benifits, this hotel is the one! Chris
