A few friends and I stayed in this complex for five nights. We found the actual rooms average, but they did have a good shower and comfortable beds. The maids were friendly and cleaned daily and we did make a lot of mess between us, so were very grateful.
The reception staff were okay, not overly enthusiastic, bearing in mind they have to deal with a thousand queries all at once due to the sheer size of the entire complex. Do expect the occasional loud noises at night on the beach outside, as it is in Ibiza.
We did not stay half board or all-inclusive, so cannot comment. However, I did see what was on offer and was not impressed.

Just arived home from what is easily the worst "hotel" i have ever had the misfortune to have stayed in. I opted for the all inclusive package which to be honest the evening main meal was not fit for human consumption.
The "bar" or begging hole as we named it drinks were always served in plastic cups, the pool area was small and most of the limited sun loungers were broke or defective in some way.
The hotel was noisy there was always a drama or complaint at reception.
There were a constant stream of lucky lucky men hovering around the pool trying to sell sunglasses fake watches DRUGS!
The 2 biggest complaints i have are the totally useless air-con which was totally inaffective so the choice was to have the patio door open, which looked over a busy noisy road so spent the entire week tired not relaxed as a hols should be.
Second biggest complaint were the staff, very unhelpful and reading between the lines they have been battered into submission whoever owns the hotel should be accountable and throw cash at it urgently.
This was my 5th and last visit to San Antonio totally put off by this hotel

Please please do not go there. all i can say is thank god i didn't take my children, and i'm glad i only went for three nights, loved ibiaz and the night life.
just hated the so called 4 star hotel.
it stated this had air coniditioning (NO!)
All inclusive was a (joke)
No towels (had to beg the reception staff)
shower went from hot to cold , cold to red hot..
never went to eat at the hotel.(Thank god)
only had a few drinks whlist there.(all ways in a plastic cup)
no ash trays on the table's so fag nubs were left in plastic cups. (Drity)
There was enough sun bed round the pool,
police was a common fixture.
basically this was a break from hell

this is the first time i have felt i needed to complain about a holiday. If you have children PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL OR ANY GPS HOTELS!unless you want them to see people vomiting around the pool and taking drugs in plain sight of everyone. If you complain to staff please be aware that your room will most probably be broken in to while you are sleeping. This happened 5 times while we were there which was only 7 nights.Staff would not contact police and were extremly UNHELPFULL.Also while we were staying there a girl was seriously assaulted in the hotel staff would NOT contact the police! The all inclusive package was very much of a joke. The food was not fit for human comsumption even the chips were GREEN.If you had the unpleasant experience of breakfast you would no doubt recieve battered sauasages for tea.The resturant manager was very rude and on one day threw out a dissabled man thinking he was drunk.Rooms were very basic if you did require any extras you were charged a very high cost. All i can say is PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

We booked the holiday a few days before, we had a look at the reviews on the hotel and some were good and some bad but we had already booked the hotel and didnt have no choice then,
the FOOD is foul i wouldnt feed this to my DOG, we went all inclusive and we only eat there twice as the food was not edable, the room was clean but very basic you have to put a depost down on every thing eg TV remote, air conditioning, fridge etc,
The pool is tiny with no sun and no sun loungers you have to go on the beach to lay on a sun lounger, The reception staff are ok but not very helpfull, we was put in the sister hotal next door and the lift didnt work so we had to walk to the top floor with our cases,
AS for the DRINKS toy have to PAY for most of them and you are better off going out and buying them out as the drinks are even foul, we founf a really good bar called BUCKANEROS just left out og the hotel that is fantastic in there, The hotal location is ok but a fare walk to the harbour, just glad we was only there for 5 nights,
BUT PLEASE DONT GO THERE

We stayed at this Hotel during July 2010 and We had a fantastic time! 4 of us came over from the UK for a clubbing holiday and couldn't ask for any more. We could literally stand on our balcony and throw a stone 20/25 metres into the sea! It was that close to the beach! I do not understand why Family's with Children are complaining about the Hotel? Surely if they had half a brain they would realise that Ibiza and especially San Antonio/San Antonio Bay is one of the most popular clubbing destinations in the world!
The food was pretty shocking but if You had paid as little as We did for an All Inclusive Holiday so close to the Nightlife, You would be very grateful. Drinks in the big clubs are RIDICULOUSLY expensive so this opportunity seemed like it came from heaven. All the drinks were premium brands and not the watered down cheap stuff.
When We arrived at the hotel there was a few cockroaches in the room, but after a few polite words with the manager, We were quickly moved to another room without fuss.
I personally think if You are 18-30 looking for a clubbing holiday, this is one of the hottest spots in Ibiza.

it was horrible, the bad reviews are correct all of them every last one, if you read a good one that person must have very low standards. i feel sorry for the staff they know what it's like and try to make your knightmare as comfortable as they can i think.
i cried as i had booked it as a family holiday with my hubby and three very young children. if you have booked and can change hotels any way do it !!!!! we moved to the same group hotel on the other side of the island called player den bosser that was far better and we managed to have a bit of a holiday. the pool was very unsafe, food horrible, rooms have got bugs in, and most of all felt very unsafe as loads of clubbers stay at the hotel and often saw fights when they came home the lift was broke as it had been kicked in say no more.dont take ur little ones if you can help it it such a let down mine got very upset.

Where do I start, on a honest note we found the position of the hotel fantastic, the beach was great, the holiday makers were fantastic. This is a good job considering the experience we had with the staff. Firstly we arrived at the hotel early hours in the morning and we had a further wait of 3 hours to check in, due to the small, male reception man moving as fast as a snail and was too busy shouting and stressing at people because they were fed up. Then one humid night my partner took off his t-shirt and was walking through the reception, we heard lots of shouting and we had a security man running towards us with a torch being used as a demonstration of a baton! Not understanding what the problem was we continued to walk to our room, thinking it was nothing to do with us. When we realised my partner put his top back on immediately and tried to explain himself. The receptionist then took the telephone and phoned the police! Getting no where we decided just to make our way back to our room, even then being followed to our room by the security man in the lift and getting into my fiances face, growling calling the English. How my partner did not respond I do not know, but I suppose this is what he wanted. Being the better person we left it to go to reception the next day. The next day we went to reception and they told us we had to leave the hotel. When we asked to speak to the manager, they told us to come back 10 0 clock at night. In the mean time we phoned the British Embassy, gaining their support, they telephoned the hotel. We found their attitudes changed and we could continue with the rest of our holiday. The manager would not talk to us! To paint the picture, we are a professional couple (I am a teacher) and we are not the kind of people to cause any bother! We had met a nice family with 2 children and were in their company. We were not going out getting drunk every night, even though it is Ibiza! We went for a rest! It was a disgrace how we were treated! All the staff are very rude and made you feel uncomfortable. I felt nervous after this event and I feel that it did ruin my holiday. Im not sure what route has to be taken but this hotel needs to be reviewed, it should be rated a 2*. The food was ok, the position was ok, we even found the drinks ok but the facilities of the hotel were disgusting! The gym and jacuzzi were appauling. The jacuzzi was glowing green, it had broken. The gym equipment didnt work and was dangerous to use. Again the staff, they are not approachable! After my experience I would never go back, I would not recommend a family, couples or groups to go because I would be worried if the secuirty guard who is there to ensure your safety is turning on you! Ibiza is great and full of hotels, stay somewhere else and enjoy it!

i stayed here for 2 weeks last august with my husband and 3 daughters age 16, 12 and 4. we loved it that much that we've already booked to go again at the same time this year. san antonio bay is the most beautiful place i have been, the beach, the sea, the views, the people, the sunset, the water sports, bars, restaurants, shops, theres everything there that we cuold wish for! the manager was so nice, they had a problem with the dishwasher one day and people, rightly so werent happy that they couldnt get a meal due to the lack of crockery. he was so nice and so helpful and it is because of this and all of the above that we decided to go again. the food was gorgeous! and the staff worked so hard. fresh fish and different salad i had every day for a fortnight, i loved it! there was no meal that i ever saw repeated and the fresh tuna was beautiful! the family room we were allocated in s'estanyol was huge! 3 single beds a bed setee and loads of room as well. we'd stayed at the mar amantis next door a few years before and there rooms were tiny in comparison.they were cleaned daily and we always had plenty of fresh towels and toilet paper i honestly cant think of anything i didnt like. oh the entertainment, there wasnt any. just a kids disco which wasnt the best ive seen, pepe and his wife are italian and the didnt speak english! and that wasnt on every night, but you can always walk round the corner to the hawaii, there entertainments good or the arcade with the trampolines round the back, we liked it there, they have crazy golf. you can go in any of the hotels as long as you buy a drink.and lets not forget the shops! and the boat accross to the town and you have to go on the train into the mountains the man who does it is so funny, youll laugh all the way round! I think it cost about 80 quid for 5 of us but it was worth every penny, we all loved it, the views down over the bay are amazing!

We are a young couple who stayed at the hotel s'estanyol only a few weeks ago. We found the location was absolutely lovely and the walk around the bay an absolute delight. However our stay at the hotel was a little disappointing, the breakfast we only ate once and the evening meal we didnt eat much either. We found the food was repetitive and the breakfast items certainly were not sufficient or of enough good quality to make the typical english breakfast. Our room was lovely but we were highly disappointed when the lights behind our bed didnt work, the air conditioning had no power and the television showed no english channels. The view from the balcony was stunning but we couldnt help but feel we were looking at an empty hotel, we stayed at the one that was an extension to s'estanyol. It was a long hike to our room and it would not suit a young girl like me who loves her high heels. One piece of advice be warned!! free sunloungers on the beach, dont take them, you will continually be harassed by market traders assuming you want to buy sunglasses, they are persistent and will keep hassling you on and off every ten minutes for about three hours

before i came to san remo hotel i wanted to read some reviews about the hotel and entertainment. They all said the food was crap, the rooms were not clean and no entertainment. so that didnt make me look forward to my holiday. When we got there it was about 11o'clock at night and we went to reception to collect our room keys. that didnt take long. so we went up and was suprised that the room was spacious as we had 5 poeople staying in one room and was clean. we didnt have any cockroaches or insects in our room, towles were changed every morning and room cleaned tooas well as beds made but changed once in the week. The food is better than i expected to be honest, the breakfase is a fry up with either fried eggs or boiled, bacon, beans, cakes and crousants etc. The lunch and dinners were all cooked well with veg, chips and meat, but the fish was sometimes bony. There were salad carts and desert options which were standredly okay. Now the drinks wasnt too bad but the bacardi just tasted cheap and nasty. I would defonatly recomend going to buckerniros bar down the raod to have a good cheery drink and live telly. or if you wat a quite drink its a little walk to a bar/pub called bar me, they do you best cocktails made in front of you and its cheaper than buckerniros. The staff were friendly but the only entertainment when we was there was internet and pool tables. The pool was clean but really cold, so we always went on the beach. This beach was georgous as the water was clear and clean and could see fish swimmeing around :). we wanted to go on bananas boats and things but they didnt have them open at this time , so they probably only open during the six weeks holidays. i came home yesterday after a week and defonatly would like to go back there.

the police and security there work very hard for there money but even with someof the abuse they get they still find the time to be friendly.
ibiza is an party island lots of noise, not suitable for relaxation or small children carnt wait to go back
