I stayed here on my first ever trip to ibiza and since i have been back a few times now my opinion has changed slightly. The hotel itself was clean and had good size room for my friend and I. The only problem we had was that it was seriosly far from the westend. It would take you a good 20-30mins walking round the bay and while it is a nice walk can seem like forever after youv had a drink! This is def a more family orientated place. The beach is right on the doorstep of the hotel which is brilliant. The ony reason i wouldnt stay here again as it is too far round the bay away from the nightlife.

just got back from a weeks all inclusive holiday at the san remo -s estanyol complex.
This was the first all inclusive holiday that my wife me and our 3 kids have been on and to say we were disapointed would be an under statement. The food was ok some days but on others it was terrible and our mane complaint is that they dont cater for children at all. My eldest child ate nothing but a bowl of yoghurt most days so we had to take him outside the complex to eat. We were also told that snacks were available all day at the pool bar, we were expecting burgers or chips but all that was available was cheese and ham sanwiches wrapped in polythene in a fridge and some rotten fruit. Another problem was when you went to the drinks bar when i asked for 5 drinks for my family i was told only 2 drinks per person so you spend most off the day walking back and forth to the bar some of the spanish staff let you take more drinks but there was an english girl that worked some days that had a really bad attitude, the bar is supposed to stay open till 11.30 so at about 11.20 people were standing in line waiting for a drink when when she shuts the bar saying her watch says 11.30 and that if you want a drink you have to go to the other bar which is open till 12.00 but you have to pay for your drinks there. Plus the kids cant get a drink by themselves as the bar is so far away from the pool seating area that they would have to walk along the beach front in the dark.
We were also told that there was entertainment on through the day and in the evening for the kids and when we asked about it they said the entertainment is on in there other hotel across the road but it is not all inclusive so you have to pay for your drinks.
The only positives that we can come up with are the rooms are clean and tidy and cleaned every day and that the hotel sits directly on a fantastic beach with a great watersports set up and that the spanish staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful.

Hi just got back from a week at the San Remo which is now joined to the s'estanyol. we visited the estanyol 3yrs ago and enjoyed the holiday ,since then the hotel has been revamped.we booked all inclusive 4 star. On arrival the Hotel looked good the rooms were in exellent condition we were in the san remo side of the hotel. There was a nice lounge area with a bar, but unfortunately you could not get all inclusive drinks. You had to go into the estanyol at the far end of the hotel at what i would describe as a pool bar which was ok in the afternoon if you were bathing in that area.Snacks were cheese and ham sanwiches, buiscuits , fruit same every day.Meals were served in the san remo for both hotels food was typical all inc with some variety but after having all inc a number of times previously we found we were eating out a lot more at this particular selection of food.Location to beach is exellent and boat transport to other locations very good.we thought it might be a bit rowdy at this time of year but with air con in the rooms and balcony door closed we were not disturbed during the night.Theres a number of good bars quite near by as theres no entertainment in the hotel you are directed to entertainment across the road which is owned by the hotel group but isnt all inc.For families with children theres no entertainment you are again advised to go to a sister hotel up the road.
This is a nice Hotel room only, beach location exellent with plenty of watersports. not 4 star.Does not live up to brochure description, other than beach the surounding bars area is looking dated with quite a few shops and bars closed down looks in need of revamp.Yorkshireman Bar exellent for food very friendly.

just back from a holiday at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean with maids cleaning every day. The hotel was situated in a nice part of the bay. The boat taxi across to the main resort just outside the hotel for 2.50e. beach only 10 metres from the pool. The majority of people staying here was non brits so the food was more continental. I ate well but tthe kids were not as impressed. Downside was all inclusive side of things. We stayed in the san remo which had the best pool but the bar beside it was not free. Every time the kids wanted anything we had to walk around to the other hotel next door to acess the free bar. Plus we were there for 7 days and there was no entertainment which was a bit surprising for the size of the place. There was no snacks free apart from some strange biscuits which lay out all day and the kids found revolting.

Booked at the last minute this accommodation came up trumps. Annexed to the San Remo Hotel this was just about everything as promised.
The complex was just a few yards from a sandy bay with free sunbeds and brollies! The rooms had recently been refurbished and were in good condition.
Our room was made for up to four people with a balcony and the room included a plasma TV (although English programmes were not found) The bathroom was very clean and had a shower within a spa bath - great after a hard day on the beach
The choice of food was very good for a three star hotel breakfast with a wide choice of breads, continental foods and a hot choice every day, cereals and fruit also. Evening meals were also of a high standard with a large salad bar and a choice of hot meals although a little bit of extra variety would have been welcome but this did not detract from the quality available. Desserts were plenty with cake, fruit, jelly and yoghurt available as well as cheese
For those not all inclusive glasses of red or white wine or beer were available with dinner for just 1 euro - hard to go wrong with this
Staff were quite cheerful and friendly and dealt with matters when asked The maids were efficient, making beds every day and changing the linen regularly throughout our stay
Definitely a place we could & would go back to again.
